Musset smiled happily to herself as they headed back to the car, glad that the two ladies had not gotte4n as angry with eachother as she had feared they would.... this was all turning out really well, she just wished that her lingering doubts about Karasu would dissapear...

The Crow Lord sits out of the way scanning the horizon. Sees people there, nothing interesting. But the Crow Lord is board and is in the mood to make some people missing.

First the Crow Lord sends his murder (flock) of crow to the city for a good target, preferable female and vulnerable.

As his crow swarm the city, he sits back waiting of a signal in the distance.

The crows in the city are visible to all.

Breaking News!

Natalie Slatsky has one the presidency of West Fall in a narrow victory, with dark horse challenger Kain Demetrius of the Yaits party running a close second, behind by only five thousand votes. It is expected that Kain will challenge the results.

The Yaits Party victory in the seventy seat house will ensure them a major part in the newly elected government. While the thirty seat senate is dominated by the National party now headed by Slatsky. The Charitable Order Party picked up a number of seats in both houses as well. Breakdown:

House:

Yaits: 41
National: 19
Charitable: 10

Senate:

National: 19
Yaits: 7
Charitable: 4

President: Natalie Slatsky projected winner.

In a startling development, former Yaits Corporation officials released a statement announcing the formation of Central Axis Corporation. The newly formed corporation owns half of all industrial projects in West Fall, not including the contreversial Citadel said to house secret illegal projects. The oil rigs in the Tundra of Guldor are alos part of the new corporation.

President elect Natalie Slatsky called the announcement premature and disturbing, assuring the public that there would be negotiations with the new company.

A few miles from the city of Valus...

A week after the undead legion's assault on the nearly defenceless town of Barton, a plague on humanity rested in a chapel. Or, at least what remained of a chapel. Parts of the ceiling had fallen in, in turn destroying several of the service benches. The whole interior was covered with a layer of dust, the exterior of the building overrun by thick vines.

The man standing next to the alter was wrapping up what looked to be fine surgical tools, obviously recently used. Finished, he would literally drop the kit into an unfolded silver sheet, where they fell in almost cartoonishly. The portable hole was then folded and placed within the confides of his deep purple robe... or what remained of his robe. His clothing were the charred and tattered remains of a hellish battle, clothes which the abomination hadn't cared enough to change.

The man faced the back wall, holding his right wrist in front of him. He pivoted the joint a few times, making sure that he didn't make any mistakes during the delicate procedure. He put his dark leather glove back on. Grinning to himself, the man gripped onto the polearm, Dreadnaught, on his back tightly.

Moonblade's poison integration and flesh graft operation was a complete success.

As thunder clapped overhead, an drain started to come down at a decent pace, Damrius stopped at the base of the stairs leading to the half worn doors to the Cathedral. He took a whiff of the air, and scowled. It smelled like death, fresh blood, and something truly evil. He knew the cause of it all too.

Moonblade!

He growled in his mind. Too many odd things had happened, and he had put the peices of the puzzle back together. First, he had heard Silver was dead, had died in teh HoH tournament. Before that, he was reading in a newspaper about the attack on Barton. And then, all of a sudden, he get's a message telling him to meet Moonblade in this cathedral. And now the scent of undeath? It was all together too easy to figure out.

As he walked up the steps, he reached to his side, and drew his longsword, the Spirit Reaper, from it's sheath. The blade glistened as lightning flashed int he background, and the black gem with a red scythe in the middle of the oval shaped handguard that connected the hilt and blade together perfectly reflected it like a mirror. From the bottom of the sword, a Diamond colored crystal hung out of the end.

As he pulled in a charge, he kicked open the door, the reflective wind flapping his white long coat, revealing the Vengeful just above the longswords sheath. His clothes were white, except for his black knee high boots and elbow length gloves.

This was going to be the ultimate battle of his time, and he knew it.

((S.S.H. - Holy Orders))

The man barely tilted his head to the side, his back still facing the door. The storm didn't bother him in the slightest; this WAS the Valus region afterall. It was to be expected.

"You're late?"

Moonblade shook his head. If the magical energies could be felt, Damrius would feel that his opponent was already begining to circulate arcana throughout his system. He continued in an obviously mocking tone.

"Didn't you're master teach you it was impolite to make people wait?"

His reference to Ryugi was emphasised with much distain; Moonblade had to spit after he was finished making it. The draconic paladin had 'betrayed' him, leaving Moonblade rather venomous. Besides, he was under orders to eliminate his old ties to friends and family. Damrius would recieve no quarter.

(s.s.h Holy orders as well)

Damrius grunted as Silver made the remark, and pulle din more energy. He broght his sword up over his head, turning os his left leg was pointing towards Silver, the tip of the sword as well, his right hand above his left hand, and his eyes glaring at Silver from under the mirrored sunglasses.

You're pretty pathetic, you know that? I'd never have imagined someone I used to admire alongside Ryugi would resort to something so... Evil.

As he said this, he made ready to move, but didn't just yet.

Moonblade turned to face his foe.

"You admired me? I'm touched..."

Silver brought his left arm to over his chest, giving Damrius a convincing look of false emotion. This was shattered by the harsh laugh Moonblade let out moments later. Pointing Dreadnaught directly at Damrius, his eyebrows arched. Which gave Moonblade that "I dare you" look.

"I'd tell you to bring it, but like Dragon-Boy, you're all talk and no walk."

Damrius didn't even bother wasting any more pleasantries, if that's what they could be called.

He started to charge in, bring his sword down to his side, coming at an extremely fast pace. As he was coming in though, he saw one of the service benches that was shattered except for the side peice in his way. As he neared it, he used his momentum as well as the his own strength to kick it towards Silver, the metal tip of his boot cracking it into a total of three peices, one coming in on each side of Silver, and one going straight for him.

Moonblade didn't even flinch. Instead, he held Dreadnaught vertically in front of him, the shaft of the weapon deflecting the center peice. In a simultaneous motion, he turned his body sideways to give the rest of the shrapnel less surface area to hit.

"..."

He bent down slightly, extending his right foot forward and lowering his stance. If Damrius still rushed forward, Moonblade was ready to intercept and destroy. If not, Moonblade was in position to lunge forward and charge himself. He wasn't yet, but he was prepared to.

Damrius stopped charging foreward, and held his sword's tip close to the ground. The rain was coming down still, and now there had been lightning added to the thunderstorm. Fantastic.

Basically stadning there, a brilliant Spirit Reaper, and white suit, the lighting lit him up with a mysterious glow, making him look a helluva lot like a real paladin, dangerous and deadly. Not that the lightning had actually hit him, of course, all he did was draw off it's nearby energy.

Moonblade knew better than to let the lightning elementalist continually draw power from the storm. Leading with his right, he charged in towards his foe. Once in range, Silver would make a thrust aimed towards the center of his foe's chest. He'd keep his foe at a relative distance; thus being the point of a polearm.

Damrius was hoping for that. He borught his sword up, caught silver's polearm, pushed it off, slid to the left, moved in, and made a thrust with his own sword.

Which would bring Damrius to Moonblade's right. Turning his body to face Damrius, he simultaneous threw himself back away from his assailant. His arms were effectively "knocked back", so it would be foolish to try and strike immediately.

As Moonblade began to throw himself back, damrius pulled in another charge, and shot his left hand out, a ball of black lightning zooming towards moonblade. At this range, it was gonna probably give off a small enough shockwave to scoot Damrius back a foot, but hit moonblade and erupt with the shockwave and mass bolts of lightning coursing through his body.

If it hit.
