Like every poem i ever read is about how terrible life is, or about how they live in darkness or something. I never found darkness to be depressing, I don't know why people use it.

Darkness sank about me yet I knew nothing but the cold.
It mattered not what I felt as I walked down that road.
I took a turn and stretched my arms, yawning really loud.
And kept on walking towards the light, looking at the clouds.
I walked inside and picked some out, then headed to the man.
He said thank you for your time and I said 'I just do what I can'.
That's based on a true story. What was I doing? Going to 7-11 for some ice cream.
