My stupid? Suikoden II. Playing for hours!!! and getting into that final battle against Luca Blight and not a save in sight!
Oh that really hurt, as I was also empty of supplies.
I am STILL kicking myself.

Saved over my first (erm, only) Suikoden 3 complete game by accident. I was really upset at the time because I thought that when Suiko 4 came about you could load data. When I found out you couldn't, I didn't care so much anymore.
And in Suiko 2 once, I did that trick where you can push the gate to Rockaxe and skip half the game. I thought I could just get to some shops early on, but instead I skipped hours of play time.

In the first Suikoden, I had my blinking mirror with Viktor, for some reason. And after beating Neclord, Viktor left and he took my blinking mirror with him! gonk That was NOT good. This was a long time ago... But believe me, I never made that mistake again.

I thought I could just get to some shops early on, but instead I skipped hours of play time. You don't miss any gameplay at all. Instead you get a way to recruit a few characters earlier on in the game, which makes it a lot easier. I routinely pick them up whenever I play SuikoII.

My biggest mistake was in V when I pressed the wrong answer for recruiting that snake monster, and in IV when I chose to execute Snowe.

Lufeher Chikuu Abigail_Blaire AuthenticDivine -MaHiRu-Kyo- There is, you NEED all 108 stars (cuz you need your last rune magic) and when she dies you have to push all the buttons rapidly or else she'll die. Of course there are somethigs that you need to say to her too during that time. I messed mine up because I didn't have all 108 stars. You had to push all kinds of buttons? =O I didn't have to do that. I just needed to have all 108 stars before she gets wounded at Rockaxe and when Dr. Huan comes to deliver the news, he'd just call Shu in to talk to him....No button pressing there... confused What? I thought you just had to get all of the SoD's before the end of the game, and when she gets wounded, you just have to hurry up and defeat the guy so that you can get her back to the castle as fast as possible so that they could save her... >.> I'm probably mistaken though. sweatdrop Actually, I heard that right before Nanami gets hit, you have two options to say something. You have to chose one in order for her to live. Depending on the choices you made in the game, the time to chose the right answer is elongated, so her survival not only depends on the SoDs and your choices, but also your reflexes as well. This could be totally wrong though. to save Nanami you have to have all the SoDs when leeknats arrives to your castle you know like in suikoden1, then you will get the forgiver sign, when you are at rockaxe you must choose the proper answers, and Nanami must have a good armor and be leveled up, oh and you have to had all those stupids goodfor nothing squirrels stare and dont know about this one = you had to made all the proper answers in the game, PSS: i saved Nanami and got the good ending in suikoden 2(the one where you save both Nanami ANd Jowy) and the good ending in suikoden 1 1 time i played heheNanami needs to have a certain amount of i think defence points as well to save her i cant remember how high but the equipment on her should help

Bill_M My biggest mistake was in V when I pressed the wrong answer for recruiting that snake monster, and in IV when I chose to execute Snowe.I executed Snowe every time just to hear what he said, and then restarted the game. If you choose to execute him instead of recruiting him on that last bout, his quote was so funny but for some reason I cried. I love Snowe.

Probably the dumbest thing I did was lost my memory card that had my S3 data on it, paniced thinking I needed it and replayed the entire game before starting S4 only to find the data was needed for any reason. @_@ That was me sitting there going through 100+ hours of gaming in S3 with S4 sitting next to me wanting to be played with.
