Usually, Aruna was indifferent to just about everything around her, but she was polite, if slightly anti-social. However, around Rahu (and a few select Kalona, and Shadowfax) she was all right; pretty much herself. If she made friends, she was friendlier, and allowed her eyes to at least show what she felt. Otherwise, many would have to pick up the signs of what she was thinking or feeling. She stopped singing to look at Rahu with a quirked ear, a Soquili's version of a raised eyebrow. "Oh? Getting old? I think getting soft is better. Besides, we're both still young. It's my father who's old." Actually, Hania wasn't even that old, to be truthful, but she was still young, and her father (being her father) was old in her eyes. She found it funny, in a way, that Rahu was probably her closest friend. He was almost a best friend. "How could you make my prize do that? That's not fair, you know." She smiled, and began to sing softly again. It seemed to help Rahu to relax, so she decided it was best. And hey, who knew she had such a great singing voice? She certainly didn't.

She stopped her singing as she watched him toss his mane back and forth. Aruna smiled. "I think you should ask your human, if you live with one, or anywhere near one, to fix up your mane if it bothers you so much." She was starting to pick up the different signs of his emotions, no matter how cold-heart, rude, or malicious he was, she was starting to understand (if a little) him more. "Now, what are your thoughts on being infamous? Most everyone I talk to knows you, or has met you briefly, I should say. And all with the same opinion." She laughed, golden eyes twinkling from the moonlight merrily as she remembered a lot of the different Soquilis' opinions about Rahu.

"Oh? And who was that foal?" She asked curiously. "And it's all right if you stay away. I don't particularly like them, either, but my bonded is quiet, so she's fine. Oh! You know my uncle? How interesting." Well, technically, Dyami was related to her by blood, but Settia, her aunt, was Hania's adopted sister, therefore, Jazz, Tori, and Fenrir (whom she had never seen or met, but had heard of) were her "cousins". "I'm sure it's irritating to know that so many Soquili--and humans--know you." She shook her head. "I'm sort of like that, but not so much as you. I wonder how it's possible to be infamous with a malicious personality..." She quipped teasingly with a half-smile.

Aruna chuckled, and returned his smirk. She found it quite amusing. "Calamity, you say? Oh, I've met that little shorty. He's better than Wyvern, wouldn't you say?" She rolled her eyes. "Ah. Fenrir. I've never met the stallion, but I've met Dyami. Dyami's kind of like my father. In a way." She snorted softly. "Tch, those Soquili need to learn not to listen to rumors or whatever. Not unless it's interesting and true. Whatever they've said about you, their minds are changed when they meet you." On impulse, she suddenly nuzzled him, but turned away short afterward. "At any rate, it's quite amusing to hear Calamity tried to seek you out."

Aruna eyed him. "Are you okay?" She had no idea that she had just nuzzled him, or that doing that to him had caused him to be a little startled. "I don't think Calamity's more of a smartmouth than Wyvern. Then again, I've never particularly liked that stallion." She narrowed her eyes before brushing aside those thoughts. "Well, that's surprising to hear. Tori and Jazz aren't at all like their parents." Aruna had only met the other two briefly, but they were okay. "Pfft. You're nice, all right. One just has to work their way past your shields, that's all. I would know." She smirked.

"Hey!" She said, opting to look mildly annoyed. "What do you mean by that, eh?" She stuck her tongue out at him, before quickly pulling it back in, looking surprised. I'm acting playful. What just happened? And Rahu! He's... teasing... me! She was quite surprised. "Of course not. I was just teasing. You're cruel and unusual," she replied, sarcasm dripping slightly from her tone. "Of course you're nice," she said with a dry time, rolling her eyes good-naturedly. "If I say so, it's true." She chuckled, "But only if the other Soquili understand that it's because you and I keep encountering each other, sometimes even by accident." She nodded, as if to confirm that it was why they were "close", if she could call it that.

She gave no thought of why Rahu nipped at her. She merely nipped back, smirking. "Ah. I'm not convincing myself of anything. It could be because you're trying to convince yourself of something. I know myself, thanks." She turned to the moon, cocking her head a little. "Lady Moon, you outclass yourself by doing this to me," she whispered, golden eyes narrowing, as if she suspected the moon. In a way, she did, but she really didn't mind. Thanks to the moon, she had met many, many interesting Soquili, some of them quite close to her, like the stallion who stood next to her.

"Hm? Oh, I was asking Lady Moon what she was doing. After all, she's the half-sister to Lady Fate." Aruna tossed her mane, and swishing her tail, she blinked. "Oh. Well, it's good you know yourself. I wouldn't want to know you for you!" She winked teasingly, laughing quietly. "Here I am... this is me..." she began to sing quietly, a song she had heard from her father when he had met this one mare he said was named Rain.
