"Well when does this envoy leave?" "I would also like to know if your sister does not wish protection than how will she go along with you sending me?" Finally sitting up Kado looked around the grassy medows and sighed, leaning his palms he stretched his legs.

She shrugged, "Lord Toleranth of Domachi." She said simply, and looked towards the palace, the afternoon sun lit the white marble like a beacon, she laughed quietly, " What Nadira does not know will not hurt her, I will find some excuse for your presense, she won't protest if she doesn't know I'm being overprotective." She grinned evilly, and crossed her legs. " That storm will be here soon, and we must get you properly outfitted for the journey."

She smiled, and stood as well, brushing off her robes. She beganwalking towards the palace as she spoke, motioning for Kado to follow. " Well, It wouldn't be good if you stood out from the rest of the guards. Then Nadira would definatley be suspicious, and she might throw something. I don't really like that when it happens, because She has good aim, and is usually targeting me." She sighed, " She has no respect for her big sister." She entered the castle through a side entrance, and tip toed down the corrider, "well. Come on then."

She smiled, "I may be Queen, but I know for a fact that I'll be in trouble if they find out I snuck out of the medical wing." She opened the doors the the palace outfitters, the tailor was out for his midday, and so the place was deserted. She tugged out the khaki breeches, and navy blue tunic of the palace guard. She handed him a pair of boots, and sturdy leather gloves. The helmet she took out of a dusty box in the corner, and brushed it off. " You can wear these as your disguise, I know they aren't exactly tasteful, but its not like this trip is for any amount of time, All I ask is that you escort Nadira across the border into Domachi, and into the capable hands of lord Vermillion. He will fly them into Pearle on his back."

Frowning in ditaste as he took them unwillingly from the queens hands, he supposed it was for the best however he would not enjoy wearing such an ugly outfit. than he looked up at Jadeira. "This Lord you spoke of how and what is he, also I would like to know about the dangers on this journey we'll be taking so I can make sure that I can keep the majority of the people in the envoy safe."

She smiled brightly, and led him out of the room, "Lord Vermillion is the son of Toloranth, King of Domachi, They are dragonfolk. I've never been to Pearle, I don't know what to expect, all I ask is that my sister be delivered safely to Pearle, then you may return." She stopped for a moment, her eyes gazing at something far off, "The Domachi delegate is in the throne room, I must attend him, You must change into these and meet me there."

Sighing, Kado went to change in an empty room and after getting comfortable in the cloths he went to the throne room to meet Jadeira. Walking to the doors he pushed them open.

The Shadows in the dark temple seemed to gnaw at the very fabric of reality, threatening to eternally devour anyone who got in its way, the only light came from the window above the altar, which allowed the moon to bathe the bloodstained stone in its pale glow. The men and women who had met their untimely demise on this very spot had long since been buried, but they aided Sibel even in death. She had gently Laid Pearle's Monarch on the black Marble. Feeling had long since been restored to her limbs which were now bound tightly behind her back, a gag was shoved in her mouth, and her feet were also bound tightly. Tears coursed down her cheeks as she stared up at the sky, for the last time admiring her god's majesty. Why he had abandoned her to this fate, she had no idea, but this was indeed her end. Through her tears it seemed she could make out a cloudy picture just above her, and yet miles away. No, not miles, worlds. Worlds away two woman gazed down at her sadly. Their tears flowed in sync with her own, and one of them reached out as if to wipe her eyes. Her lips moved with wordless, soundless comfort, and Kaelene ached to be held by these two beautiful women. One of them had long hair, as pale as moon glow, twin horns protruded from her scull, and curled elegantly. Her red eyes held a note of sad indifference as she firmly held the arm of the other whose shock of indigo locks barely brushed her shoulders and framed a long pointed horn protruding from her forehead. She was the one who reached for Kaelene with yearning earnest. The Queen of Pearle's cry was muffled as the vision faded away, and she was once again cold, alone, and doomed to a terrible end by the hands of that green eyed demon. Sibel swept into the room, her silk dress was so black, it seemed to suck all the light out of the room. Jet buttons lined the front, and it was cinched at the waist with a thin silver wrap. The full sleeves were embroidered with symbols blessedly shielded from human view for over a millennia. Her venomous green eyes were lined with coal, and her sleek black curls were pinned back out of her face. Crimson lips were curled in an unpleasant smile as she waved a long, and cruelly curved knife in front of Kaelene's face. She gently removed the gag with her other hand. The Queen trembled uncontrollably at the sight of the knife, but she vowed not to give this evil woman the pleasure of hearing her whimper, or cry out in any way whatsoever. Sibel began to sway back and forth, chanting in a foreign tongue, as she moved her hands in odd patterns over Kaelene's body. The green eyes were focused on something not there; her pupils shrunk, and then vanished as her chanting increased in intensity. Her gown swirled in an alien wind, and her hair was torn loose from its pins, and whipped around her pale face. Making her appear almost ethereal. But Kaelene held no reverence for the beautiful woman, for death was clutched in her hand. Her hand began to rise, and the wind whipped up again, stronger than before. The Queen braced herself and swore that no noise would emerge from her mouth. The silver knife plunged deep into her chest, filling her entire body with a frigid burning sensation that grew in intensity as the seconds passed. The glowing gateway opened before her as her spirit departed from its now useless shell, free from pain, and worldly cares she ascended. But the odd woman followed her progress with sightless eyes, and raised her hand to point at the Queens departing spirit. A cord whipped out from her fingers and wrapped around her ankle, Kaelene was dragged back down into a world full of pain. She now understood, Sibel was not finished with her yet. Her blood spilled over the tiles, and swirled around Sibel's feet she noticed dully. The knife descended again. Kaelene screamed.

The murder had been brutal. Jadeira slumped in her sattle as her men secured the perimeter. There was no need to explain that the murderer had fled long ago. This unidentified woman had been killed like no other. The Dark tiles of this once sacred place were slippery with her blood. The woman wore finery to contest her own court clothes, which didn't bode well. Her advisors wanted this kept quiet, but already an unsettled mob were gathered in the streets, and peering accusingly out their windows. Jadeira had no doubt as to who they blamed for all these murders. Especially now, since they had finally located a witness. Her guards had escorted him into the throne room, half drunk by the look of him, but when he saw Jadeira he had curled into a fetal position and bawled uncontrollably, until the men had dragged him outside. Even more disturbing, and incriminating was his description of the murderess. Dark hair, and green eyes. Queen Jadeira's eyes were now the talk of the kingdom. Assasination attempts had been thwarted thrice already, and it wasn't even afternoon... She slid off her horse as four of the guard carried the body, swaddled in a bloodstained wrap. Her hand clapped over her heart she murmered a prayer for the fallen. The mob went insane at the sight of the body, and demanded for justice. She wearily swung op into the saddle and trotted back to the palace under heavy guard. The mob followed on their heels, waving pitchforks and the like. Sighing, she shook her head 'how unoriginal.' A figure garbed in red awaited her. On her throne. Jadeira's eyes widened as she took in the sight, a procession of heavily armed men stood between herself and the strange woman.

"My, my Jadeira. Haven't we been busy lately? Its rather a pity your subjects didn't see your true nature sooner.." Sibel didn't wait for an answer. Her revealing gown was fashioned like a Kimono, and made of a red not unlike fresh blood. Her dark hair was held back with a delicate comb fashioned to resemble a budding rose. Her skin was pale, and she wore no jewelry save for a small china bottle around her neck, on a braided cord of gold. a golden jewel shaped like a teardrop adorned her brow. "Im terribly sorry my dear, but the votes have been cast, and Im afraid the people do not want a murdering half demon for a queen. I'm here to take your place child." Shock was evident in the queen's eyes as she gazed up at Sibel, "Oh don't worry, I have convinced them to spare your life, assuring them that after a few weeks I'm sure you will regret the day your father met your mother." She laughed, and motioned for the men standing at her side to take Jadeira into custody, " I spoke to you before men, and you know my orders. Follow them and we will have no problems. Take her to the dungeons but before you go, bring me her crown." The guards oblidged, and dragged the former queen out of the room, and down the spiraled staircase towards her bleak future.

Her bare feet dragged across the cold stone floor. The guards had unabashedly stripped her of her clothes, weapons, and shoes, and tossed her into one of the many cells. The darkness was overwhelming in her cramped cell whose only furnishing was a smelly old chamber pot. She shivered; the other prisoners were pressed up against the bars on every side. She sat curled in a little ball in the middle of her prison, as greasy fingers reached for her, and gap toothless men leered at her through the bars. Mercifully a pitying guard had tossed her a rag of a blanket about an hour ago, so she was reasonably covered. Fifteen minutes after his minor act of kindness, another guard had tossed her bloody head into her cage to keep her company. Jadeira, stripped of everything she had worked for, everything she cared for was long past caring, she had retreated deep inside herself, and wasn't aware of anything but the blissful emptiness of her innermost thoughts. She wished she could've told Vermillion not to return, to stay in Pearle. To avoid the bloodbath that would surely follow.
