Ger flinched and bristled in surprise when some stray water drops landed on him. "Woah!" he shouted pawing at where the water hit him. Sure he liked to swim in the water of the watering hole, but this was sort of a surprise to him. "Do ya need help getting out of there, Kimaji?" he asked, continuing his pawing.
Satisfied with his straightened fur he offered it to the female. "Need a paw?"

The silver cub shook her head, continuing to splash as much water as she could in the shallows, and trying to pounce the water when it flew up or to the sides, as if this was all some sort of hunt.
"Splash is fun! "

Ger sat down quietly and watched as the female played in the water. It was sort of wierd to watch another play and not join in....what the heck.
"Bonzai!" he cried as he rushed into the water with the female. He laughed as he splashed the water around with his paws.

The cub grins, splashing water at Ger with her paws, lowering her body and dashing through the waer, pushing it away with splaches using her shoulders.
"I bet you can't catch me! "

Ger fumbled around in the water, picking up his legs up high to walk around. He giggled and laughed as he chased around the female in the water.
"I will get you!" he shouted as he ran around the water. This is his first time playing in water, and it was much more fun than that on land.

The cub squealed, kicking backwards with her hind quarters to splash at Ger, a playfull attempt to get him off course before bouncing around in the water, wet tail waving around like a banner and sending water in many directions.
"Ger can't get Kimaji! "

Trying to keep an eye on a target while water flying this way and that way, Ger had to guess where she was. "I'll catch ya!" he shouted as he bounced around in the water.
As he chased around the female, a caught a glimpse of white and lunged at it. "Gotcha!"

The cub leaped away in an exagerated manner, just to fall on her haunches in the shallow water with a thump. She held back a small, unconftarble huff and looked up at where her cave was, now with a sore bum, it seemed like a good idea to scurry over there and take a nap with Swaii.
She looked at Ger, taking no notice of how dumb she looked wet, sitting in the water and staring at him.
"Kimaji better go home now, or Swaii might get mad... And Ger's daddy might be worried, too. "
To her, saying 'mommy might be worried' was something compleetly weird, having none herself.

Ger felt that strange feeling again when she said that. Ger nodded, "R-right, I should. I'll just follow the river and get on from there." he replied. Ger got to his feet and padded out to the shore. "Bye, Kimaji." he called back before disappearing into the forest again.
The rivers water rushed past him as he walked up stream. A father...it would be great to have one. He had his mother, but it was strange having a single parent. The Pride Lander tossed the thought away and headed home. At least he is welcomed there.
