Though the Alpha didn't show it, the Loner could sense the worry in the Alpha's scent. The Alpha was beginning to slow down some. This was good for Kane, however, not so good for Intyran. As she Alpha tried to make him release the grip on his back, Kane sunk his teeth in deeper, making his hold tighter. The Alpha had released his kneck. This also came to his advantage. But when Intyran entangled there legs together, Kane came crashing down, though still having a grip on the Alpha -a weak grip, but a grip- he wanted to take the Alpha down with him.

Mirah's emerald eyes grew wider as she watched in fear, not knowing what to do. If Intyran didn't want her to but in, but he could be in serious danger...should she help?

Of course, Intyran had slowed down a bit, and had released his hold on the neck; but the end result was worth it. When the loner went down he could feel himself being dragged down as well, his back in splitting pain. Though, he had managed to keep himself from rolling over and exposing his belly, which may potentially save his life. Snarrling threateningly the alpha saw his chance, where the loner's mouth was occupied with a weak grip on his back, Intyran's was not. Barring his fangs once more he pushed his back against the force of the loner's jaws, and while doing so using his claws to paw at and crush the throat and neck. True this put more pressure on his back then there already was, but he was ready to end it here and now, chomping down heavily on one of the loner's legs, considering he had been brought down and he wasn't on them at the moment. With this he flicked his tail, arching it slightly. Now would be the oppertune time for Mirah to come in; while the intruder was still down. To make sure she got that message, he glanced back once with intense dark eyes before chomping down on the leg again. If this didn't end quickly, it would be life threatening for the alpha.

"Okay...okay. I give." The Loner gasped, using every ounce of strength to keep breathing. "I....will...leave. Let...me....live...." He begged, with a sad look in his coal black eyes.

Mirah sprang up from where she was and looked the Loner in the eye. She could have easilly helped Intyran to destroy this monster once and for all. She was once again frozen. She didn't know what to do. A sinking feeling of pity filled her heart for the Loner...although...he had ambushed Intyran and her as they had got their beautiful plump deer for the pack....

"Intyran..." She said quietly, as she stared at her Leader chomping into the Loner's leg. If Intyran ordered her to kill then she would, she would have no choice....

"Please...spare me..." He gasped again.

((Um, just so you know, I own this wolf, so please don't kill him heart sweatdrop ))

((I was trying to figure out if you did or not. xd heart ))

Intyran wasn't one to take such foolishness as this lightly, to ambush him and a pack mate, ignore warnings, and to fight back would often times warrent a death sentence from him. But when he suddenly heard the words of submission from his foe he wasn't sure if he wanted to continue, but his death wish had already been signed. When he heard a much quieter voice though the alpha flicked his ears back to listen, realizing it was Mirah, and also realizing how young she was. The pain in his back and side was brutal, and he knew he could kill the one who put it there in one fell swoop, but his heart jerked slightly with Mirah's hesitation. With a heavy sigh Intyran slowly released his grip on the leg, his maw coated in blood. But he kept one paw lightly on the loner's throat. "Release my back", was his only words, cold and not at all a request. Only when that was complete, would he remove his paw.

Kane hesitated. If he let go of the Alpha's back, would he be killed. Either way, he had no other choice--he released Intyran's back. "Now get off of me!" He rasped taking deep breaths trying to breathe.

Mirah looked at Intyran. He was hurt...bad. The two adults were covered in blood. If the Loner would try to attack, however, she would attack as well. She gave Intyran a nod, trying to tell him that if needed, she would attack. She may have been an adolescent, but she was strong enough to take the loner down, seeing as though Intyran had already severely injured him.

Feeling the pressure release from his back the alpha allowed his tail to arch over his back slightly, the dominant posture for any wolf. But at the snapping rasp Intyran bared bloody fangs, he didn't care much for this one's tone, and if it weren't for Mirah it was likely the loner would have died. "Watch it", he warned morbidly as he slowly released the pressure from this one's neck. Stepping back a bit he kept dark eyes on Kane at all times, teeth bared and fur bristled at the neck. If he dared to attack again, Intyran would be forced to defend. "If you ever threaten another from my pack, I'll be sure to finish what I started", was his last warning, voice eerie and calm.

Kane slowly scampered to his feet. "We'll see about that. But for now, farewell." The Loner said in almost a whisper as he turned and limped day. His coal-black eyes stared straight forward, and he didn't look back. He hadn't gotten away with even a morsle of meat, but the blood of an Alpha. 'I will be back. Mark my words I will be back.' He thought to himself.

Mirah stared wide-eyed at Intyran. "C'mon...we...we've got to get you some help...fast Intyran. Forget about the deer, we can come back for it. You're ir-replaceable. You're our leader." She said as she slowly padded up to him, nudging the Alpha with her nose.

Inyran was in one of his more intense moods, his side and back screamed against the brutal treatment they had just gotten, but he stood as riggidly and even as his current state would allow. That loner was going to be trouble if he ever saw it, so he'd warn Phoenix and the rest of the pack tonight. Though when Mirah came up to him he didn't move or say anything, just groaned slightly when she pressed her nose into his side. He would not flinch, he wouldn't allow it. Finally when he saw that Kane was out of his sight he dared to turn his head towards Mirah. "No, if I leave the deer here he can just come back for it; and that I will not stand for", it was the first a even remotely stern voice escaped him, but it was true. Without meeting Mirah's gaze Intyran padded over to the deer, every step agony to his side, and crimson blood staining his coat. But he still would not allow himself to flinch, oh no, he was way to prideful for such things. Especially now that he was hurt. Grabbing at the neck of the deer he tried to drag it with him, but he found that lowering his neck and head just made his back strain. After a bit of a struggle and not getting very far, if at all, the alpha turned to Mirah, dark eyes still intense, but a tiny and short bark escaped him. He wanted her to help him drag it, and that was the only time he would ask.

Mirah immeadiately came to Intyran, and grabbed the other side of the deers neck. Intyran was right about Kane being able to come back and just snatch the deer up, but Intyran was hurt. Even though he wasn't going to let himself show it, Mirah knew he was in severe pain, but the teen said nothing. She just dragged the deer with all of her might, hoping that Intyran wouldn't have to put much back into it.

Intyran perked his ears when she came over to him, even in his state of stubborness he was still proud of her for the kill, and obeying orders. The alpha helped dragged the deer as best he could, swallowing back the pain and keeping himself from whimpering. He was not going to show weakness, not out here and not without another form of protection. But one fleeting thought did come to him. He missed Phoenix. He wanted to feel her nuzzle and be near her. That thought kept him going for awhile till the pack's resting grounds was close enough for him to take a little breathier.

"We're almost there Intyran. We're almost there." Mirah said between her teeth. She then released the doe, and looked up at Intyran. "You stay here...I...I can go get help." Mirah offered, as she took two steps backward. "If...thats alright with you that is..."

Intyran glanced back up to her for a moment, then behind him at the direction of the pack's den. Sighing he slowly nodded his head. "Alright Mirah, I'll wait here", he told her quietly, he could wait a little bit longer.

Mirah nodded, and dashed off toward the main ground of the pack. "Phoenix! Phoenix!!" Mirah cried when she arrived in the center of the pack. "Phoenix. It's Intyran."

If Phoenix was not to come, she would have to find someone else. She didn't know how long Intyran would last. He seemed pretty bad...

Phoenix steadily walked from the den to Mirah's call. "Mirah?" Her tone itself asked what was wrong, though Phoenix had the deep dread that something happened, or else the youngster would not have returned alone. She held herself in a position between alphaess and concern.

Namir had been driven from the tall grass by his sisters. After a while, Avani's constant complaing about having no friends and Keahi's constant attempts to be purposely annoying tended to grate on the male's nerves, despite his rather patient personality. Sighing, he walked along the edge of the territory, taking in the sights of lands just outside the pack's reach.

He was rather enjoying the walk, that is until he noted an injured wolf in his path. And not just any wolf. This was the male he knew to be the alpha. A sudden sick feeling took him and he glanced around, not knowing what to do. "A-Are you o-okay?" He stuttered out, taking tentative steps closer.
