social stereotypes are created due to a title being fixed to a certain group. so stop being falsly pedantic, you know what people mean when we say emo. why is it that only emo's reject the label?

please: you are wrong. there cannot be emo's in places where there is no petty bourgeoisie which is free of opression. this is why there are so few racial minorities in the subculture.
it is just a method of distraction. it is saying this: you have no problems of any real import, but you can always cry and cut yourself over getting dumped, or arguing with your parents.
this is why there are so few proletarians and minorities that embace emo, they actually have propper problems, like racial oppression and/or exclusion, or having to get a job to pay your way through high school(yup, i said high school!)
