Raven decided that she needed to dance and unbraided the braid she did. She was glad she didn't really have to answer the what are you turning into question yet. Raven went into the dance floor and started dancing to the beat of the music. Raven didn't know how to actually dance a certain style.

((Sorry it took so long for me to reply: the internet's down at my house.))
"What the-HEY!"
Sophie didn't like the idea of being pulled onto the dance floor sandwiched between two less than sober men. She liked the idea of staying on the dance floor even less. So, trying to escape the frenzy, she squeezed her way through the crowd as best she could, finding that she only got sucked in further, and actually ended up right next to the dancing Marshall and Gaius again.
Once again she tried to break herself free, but instead only got shoved right into Gaius, her surprised eyes looking inches away into his. The moment didn't last, though, and slipping away, managed to find freedom and oxygen back at the bar. She struggled to catch her breath, her eyelids feeling heavy all of a sudden. She yawned, then shook off the sleep, watching the dancers and this time deciding to hold onto the bar ledge, in case anyone else decided to try and pull her out there.

Gallen, though quiet uncomfortable started to try his hand at dancing. Remembering how bad he was in the past, yet he seemed to be doing pretty well, and he felt more balanced and was not bumping into others on the floor. Almost like a 6th senses or like he had started to develop cat like reflexes.

Gaius blinked, eyes locking with Sophie's a moment before she ran away to disappear into the crowd. He gulped visibly, his eyes trailing after her. His heart seemed to have kicked into overdrive and he rubbed a sweaty hand against his pants. Maybe it was just all the tight atmosphere of the dance floor that was making him feel warm... yeah, that was it...
Though he was a little disheartened that Sophie wasn't going to join them, the vodka was running strong through his veins. Soon enough he was busting it out with the other guys, laughing and grinning foolishly. Too bad he was probably one of the geekiest dancers on the floor, pulling such moves as the sprinkler and potato-masher. And forget about coordination, his flailing could make a penguin (no offense intended! >3) look graceful.

Sophie watched the crowd with a glazed stare, not really paying attention to them at all. In truth, she was replaying what had just happened in her mind. For that one moment...No. No, no, no. She had to be imagining it. Sophie Cherise Bell was not wooed by a pair of eyes, nor did she dance, and absolutely could not intake alcohol in any way, shape, or form.
In other words, she needed a drink.
In the spur of the moment, she shuffled behind the counter once again, her fingers closing around the neck of the bottle she was looking for. Lifting it up, though, she realized one thing too late: she didn't know how to mix drinks. With eyes akin to that of a lost puppy, she looked out to where Gaius was and nearly whimpered, but found he was already pre-occupied.
What good was taking Chemistry in high school if a person couldn't experiment?
Pouring the last remaining contents of orange juice into a small glass, she carefully poured in what she thought was a small amount of vodka, which was actually a generous amount. She swished the glass around to thoroughly mix the contents, and with a slightly forlorn look at having giving in to night's splendors, gulped it down. Of course, upon contact with her tastebuds, she nearly gagged, but managed to swallow it anyway, wiping her lips as she looked back at the crowd.
The time bomb had been set: the only question was, would she venture out first, or would someone come for her? She attempted to ponder further, but her mind was already beginning to fog.
Oh, the joys of a party.

The music was throbbing as Gaius finished an air-guitar jam. Breathing heavily between laughs, he looked around at the others. The crowd shifted and he caught sight of the girl he'd met earlier - Sunny, right? - looking rather forlorn and alone. Normally he would've nudged one of the other guys, being too bashful himself to ever approach a girl directly, but the alcohol had subverted that part of his mind, leaving his galant side in charge.
Giving the guys a quick nod, he pushed his way through the crowd back to the bar and gave Sophie a lopsided grin. "Hey, uh, want to dance? Uh, with the rest of us, I mean! Out on the dance floor? It'd be great if you did!" Not the smoothest line he could choose, but the innocently hopeful grin he gave her would leave her hard-pressed to refuse.

Sophie blushed, looking the other way for a moment. "I-uhm...." Even as the vodka began taking control of her senses, and the desire to do something stupid grew, one small voice still managed to squeak in her head: I told you so, Now you've done it, I hope you think about this tommorow morning. But, with a wave of warm good feelings, the voice was gone, and Sophie smiled, even if the grin was still a tad meek.
"I suppose a dance or two couldn't hurt much, eh?"
Using Gaius's shoulder as a hold, she pulled herself from her chair, nearly falling forward with the momentum. Instead, she wrapped her arms around his waist for support until she could stand on her own, eyes still heavy-lidded. She yawned, then proceeded to make her way to the dance floor, looking back at Gaius as in expectance to follow. It was nearly impossible to tell if she was simply drunk, or was actually flirting with him. Maybe it was both.

Gallen watched the two come back and started to clap, getting others to join in form their group.
Yay Sophie and Gaius are back
He was happy to see the young lady finally loosen up and comeback to enjoy her self. He grinned wider when he realized it was due to Gaius and that the two where flirting.

Sophie wasn't the only one blushing. The sudden close contact as she caught his waist made his heart flip. He could feel his face burning, but Sophie didn't seem to notice and propelled herself towards the dance floor, then looked back at him. If there was any subtle flirting, it went clear over Gaius's foggy head, but he couldn't help but feel drawn after her, following in her wake back out onto the dance floor.
He flashed Gallen a silly grin in response to the greeting, then turned back to Sophie, hesitant to start anything despite his inebriated state. He glanced around to note where the others were, wondering if he should just start dancing again or if he should wait for Sophie to make a move...

"C'mon, Gaius, you said you wanted to dance, didn't you?"
Sophie joined the others in a general group, leaning back and forth to the beat. Once she started bringing her arms into it, she stopped caring what the others thought of her dancing abilities. This was just like school: at least, that's the way it was for her. Everyone in a group, no one caring. It made her think of home...
As the music began to fade into the next song, Sophie paused, looking up at the lights in some sudden thought. It was lost, though, as her knees buckled and she collapsed to the ground. Sophie felt drowsy, and only in a final thought realized that she had probably stayed out too late. Instant sleep settled in, and for about the next thirty seconds, everyone would be in a panic.
She hadn't told them about her sleep issues, had she?

"Uh, yeah!" Gaius flashed a sheepish smile. Kicking his mind back into gear, he began a rhythmic swaying of sorts and shifted his weight between his feet.
"Last dance I was at was... wow, I think it was High School!" He laughed over the blaring music. "I can't believe it's been that long! Guess I just wasn't into that kind of stuff in college. Kinda feel bad for missing -" His rambling was cut off as he watched wide-eyed as Sophie suddenly collapsed to the floor. If he'd been faster on the uptake, he would have tried to catch her, but as it was he was instantly on his knees beside her, patting her cheek anxiously. Somehow he even remembered her name. "Sophie? Sophie!"
Threads of panic gripped his chest. She seemed to be breathing, and he could feel her pulse was steady. For all apearances, she looked to be asleep. What was wrong then? Why had she suddenly collapsed? All the stairing dancers around them forgotten and unable to think straight, Gaius shook Sophie's shoulders vigorously and called her name, continuing his efforts to rouse her.

There was some thing to be said for Marshall's dancing abilities; he definatly didn't have any and he definatly didn't care. Even when he was doing the dorkiest of dances with Gaius he kept the same, bright smile on his face.
This look waned, however, when he saw Sophie collapse. He stopped moving, before getting a slight tingle in the back of his neck that seemed to say only one thing:
Some thing's wrong.
Like a salmon going upstream, it was a strugged to get through the large crowd of people, and it was a while before Marshall could get over to the unconscious Sophie and paniced Gaius.
"What happened?!" he asked, looking up at Gaius.

Sophie's eyes fluttered open, and for a moment, the world was a blur to her. But slowly, things came into focus. However, it wasn't Gaius's face she saw in the dim lighting. She almost cried out to the person she saw, but after a moment more, she didn't see the childhood friend. Instead of Dillon's face, it was Gaius.
"I...I passed out, didn't I?" With that realization, she scrambled to her feet, nearly topsiding over in the process. She shook her head, shaking off the sleepiness but not shaking off tha buzz. "I am so sorry...I should've mentioned stuff like this happens...I am really, really sorry." She placed a hand on his shoulder, partially to calm her nerves, and partially to hold herself up: her ankle was sore after falling.
"...You know what? This was a bad idea. I gotta go."
