"Uh," Kanlay said, staring down at her. "I don't know. Maybe because you keep worrying about whatever it is? ...Are you going to stay there on the floor like that?"

She put her hands on her hips and nudged Sortha with her foot.

A women enter the Inn with bag beside her. She stood tall in the entrance where she look around. She need some peace and quite to finsh her work and she heard this was a place to do so. She pick up her bag and walk to the counter where she could get her room key. She was a brown hair women with her hair in a bun. She wore black frame glass and wore a t-shirt and pair of blue jeans. She stood there and tap the bell. She waited for the desk clerk.

She drop her bag beside and lene over the counter to see if anyone was there.

"Hello is anyone here" she stood up right like before and look around. It was too quick she felt like she was in a scary movie. She turn around and look around. She hope someone will come out of the coner talking. She sigh... and waited. She was getting bored real fast. She look at the celling and notice a strange spot. She began to wonder what it was to keep herself awake.

There were two young women at the far end of the room. The bar and the reception room were the same, except that a small part of the bar counter was a different color and had a sign over it that said "Reception".

Kanlay, the waitress, looked back from the bar end of the room. "I think he's in the bathroom. What d'ya need?"

She put her hands on her hips and nudged Sortha with her foot.

sortha wiped away her tears and said she was fine a little bit befor the women came into the room. Then she got up and sat down on the chair that she fell off of and put up her hood. sortha sat there looking at a grass green bag that she set on the table wishing she could use what was inside of it, but she knew she could not use it here for it was not safe.

A fair willowy woman of 19 strode into the Inn, her cloak still shielding her face. She hurriedly sat at one of the bar stools and lowered her cloak hood. After glancing quickly at her surroundings with a suspicious look, she reached deep within her pockets, pulled out a cigarette, and cigarette holder, lit it, then smoked.

Puffs of orange smoke streamed from her nostrils every now and then she exhaled. The woman seemed to relax a bit more after her tobacco inhalation. She crossed her legs and pursed her holder in a lady like way, and stared off at the rest of the people.

((My, aren't we a dramatic lot. *clasps hands together* Now time to stir this dismal pot!!))

A thud from the heavens, or more specifically udstairs, shaked with a soft force the tiny bar below. It wasn't enough to cause any movement from the bottles and shot glasses, but enough to cause some customers to pause in their drinking and look up at the ceiling, some noticing the spots for the first time. Once the feeling that it would be silent again, and people started to nurture their liquors once more, another thud came to follow suit. A door creaked and another, more closely packed, symphony of thuds came before the creaking of footsteps came from below. With a aura that she wanted eyes on her, Tsuki stepped with the smile of a imp and the walk of a present Cinderella. Adorn in a crimson, crushed velvet jacket, a marron shirt, and black pants, she slipped her nimble fingers on the railing before finally arriving at the bar floor with a clack of her black shoes. More then one set of questioning eyeballs where set on her, hungry for explantion, but she dismissed their demands with a quick turn to the bar. Flicking a lock of her ebony, choppy bangs to rest over her jet black locks that flowed like glossy ink to a downward slant towards her shoulders, she knocked on wood to get the Bartender's attention, her golden eyes flicking with intererst. "Hello. Hello. Care to water a rose with some well deserved liquor?" She said, her voice like matching the velvet jacket and silky smooth like lamb's ears.

Poor Kanlay looked flustered. Now there were four people in the room who all wanted either her attention or the attention of the barkeep, who had stepped out without telling her why.

"Yes, Maam," she said to the newest arrival. "Just hold on a moment if you don't mind." And even if she did mind, Kanlay had to get to the customers that had come in before her, specifically the one who had requested a room.

"What is your name?" she asked her politely, and then when the name matched one she had on a clipboard behind the counter, she nodded and handed her the key. "Here, room number 12. It's upstairs. I hope you find it to your liking."

~~~
"Excuse me," Hitori said to the woman who had just sat down, demanded a drink, and called herself a rose. He had followed quietly in her wake, amused by her display and not wishing to interrupt. He took a seat beside her at the bar and looked to the waitress, but she seemed busy, so he turned back to the self-important stranger. "I don't believe I caught your name, but you are staying in a room down the hall from mine." Well, most of the rooms were on that hall, so it was probably true.
Sortha put her small bag away as more people started to come into the bar and then she got up and moved to a table in the far back. She unlike most people did not care if people saw her or even knew she was there. She was used to being alone and had never had friends because she was always on the run or just thought it was best not to. It was a sad life but she did not know how wonderful it was to have a life like most people so it did not bug her. Sortha just sat there at the table in the back looking off into space wondering how life would be if she knew her family or name for that matter. Not knowing her name bugged her just as much as not knowing her family. She could not forget about not knowing her family if every time someone asked her for her name it made her think of them.
"OI now! I'll give ye a spot o' the stuff you aven't knocked off me shelves? What was ye been doin in yer room anyway with all that bangin?" Greff asked as he put the glass he was polishing on the counter in front of this red rose. He turned and looked at the shelf a bit before selecting and departing a generous portion of it into the glass after pulling it down. He returned the bottle to the shelf and wiped the grubby hand on the apron that covered his bulk. He turned around from the shelf and leaned on the counter, looking at the man who had sat next to the drama queen that called herself a rose. He didnt say anything, only waited, expecting the man to order or tell him not to worry.
The willowy woman who had yet to introduce herself, or order anything, glanced over at the little drama now unfolding just a couple of barstools down. She grinned to herself, clearly amused with the 'rose's' attitude. With a last puff of her cigarette, she smashed it in a near by ashtray, then proceeded to remove her cloak entirely. She then draped it behind her.
Then, she rapped on the counter smartly with her knuckles. "Oi you there. I'd like a drink please. Something sharp and sweet." she ordered.
McDern's bulk shifted like an ox as his attention focused on the new costumer. The woman a little ways down wanted something sharp and sweet.
"Hows about I get ye a bit o' Feywine. Ain't gonna get sweeter then that."
He pulled an expensive looking bottle from his store of alcohol and uncorked it carefully. HE went to pour but stopped, the neck of the bottle hovering over the glass hesitantly.
"You aint got nuthin gainst fairy follk right, cause this here stufff and brewed by mortals if you know what I mean..." Greff cocked an eyebrow.
When sortha saw the bottle of wine she got up from far in the back and sat down at the bar. "I would like a glass of faywine two please,"she said in a kind soft voice. Then she sighed "Do you know about the human sized fairys? I think its sad what happened to them. If i remember right no one has seen one for 162 years now. Poor things. They say their beautiful even more beautiful then the small ones that live today. ," she said softly in a sad voice.
Greff got a new glass for the young girl as he listened to her sad voice. Human sized fairies?
"I ain't got an idear of what ye be talkin bout girl. Never heard o' big uns. Only the small fairies. Them little tricksters. Hardly anyone how seen them round neither. I get the feywine from a particularly special merchant that happened to catch one once." He looked to from one costumer to the other.
"Did no have the heart to keep the little thing or wish on it as them stories say ye can. So he let it go. Word is that it give him Feywine when the market is bad." Greff shrugged. "Thats all I knowed of fairies."
Hitori waited to place his order. He didn't want to interrupt the two ladies and even though their conversation interested him, he was more interested in "Rose". He could talk to the girl later if he wanted to.
Kanlay looked very relieved that her boss was back. He seemed to be doing all the work, too, so she moved out of his way with a smile.
