Kagome aimed her arrow carefully. "Alright then, hit the mark!" She shot, her arrow going through a leg and severing it. "Should I aim for the head?" She called out, hoping that one of them would answer.

"Shoot it between the eyes!" Sango calls back as Kirara takes a bit out of one of the spider's remaining legs.

Kagome nodded. "Alright then!" She aimed, and shot. The arrow hit the mark, immoblizing the spider. "That went well. But what was it doing here? The place shows no sign of life, at all."

Chrys and Mizuho nod after ending the spell. Then Chrys turned her head to the great aura, eyes slightly narrowed with suspicion.
((I have a good reason for being gone so long. I'm in China, and packing, unpacking, and other things have kept me busy. Plus this is my cousin's internet connection, which is sometimes a piece of *crud*.))

Sango remounts Kirara and motions for Miroku and Kagome to join her.
"Would you two like to accompany us? We couldn't have defeated the spider without you," she says to the two.

The little sprite and young youkai smiled sheepishly. "You give us too much credit," said Mizuho, "but yes, we will accompany you."
((We really need someone to play Inuyasha. o_o))

Sango keeps her thoughts on the mission at hand as the group goes on toward the aura Miroku sensed.
((Yeah, we do. It's an Inuyasha RPG with no Inuyasha in it.))

Kagome was on Kirara by now and somewhat seething. Sure she had just destroyed a spider demon with Sango, Miroku, and two others, but she still was kind of irked with Inuyasha's absence.

Chrys squirmed again with Mizuho, but one baring of the sprite's teeth stopped her. Mizuho looked grumpy, for this aura and her slowness at sensing new auras was affecting her temper.

Sango sees something glowing up ahead and points.
"Is that the aura you were sensing, Houshi-sama?" she asks.
((OK, one of you guys go ahead and jump in as Inu. We can take turns playing him.))

Suddenly, a rough shout came from below them. "Damn it, why'd you guys leave without me?!" A white haired boy with dog ears similar to Chrys' jumped up and landed on a nearby cliff.
"Ehhh!" exclaimed the startled Chrys, finally meeting Inuyasha. She whispered to Mizuho, "Who the heck is that?" Mizuho merely shook her head and shushed her.

Kagome turned and gave Inuyasha a murderous glare. "I yelled for you to come, but no, you HAD to be late. Inuyasha..." She was on the brink of saying the word, and sending Inuyasha into the ground. "If this makes you feel any better, I sense three jewel shards."
