Not naming you trashmetaljunkie. thats acutally another reason why i posted it, for retort but also information purposes as to why i oppose any other bible very strongly and ABOUT my bible and why i encrouage others to read it ^^;

there are many bibles, and each of which is thought to be better then all others. those who read a certian bible usually refuse to read another like me..i had to get a catholic bible for christianity class..i wanted to use mine....they wouldn let me...but it all depends on how you were brought up and raised, and which bible you grew up with ^^ yay, i got hugs and kisses ^^ lol

thrashmetaljunkie there are many bibles, and each of which is thought to be better then all others. those who read a certian bible usually refuse to read another like me..i had to get a catholic bible for christianity class..i wanted to use mine....they wouldn let me...but it all depends on how you were brought up and raised, and which bible you grew up with ^^ yay, i got hugs and kisses ^^ lol lol your going to kick me for continuing with this, but have many of you forgotten of "false preachers" that will lead you astray from the "true" word that was written? so yes, people will claim their bible is better, but only ONE can be trully accurate, hence why I go by the NASB. Not only that, my father, although hasn't studied greek or latin, has studied all his life of Hebrew and the bible. Almost every night I read from my bible while he follows along in his hebrew bible. And its literally word for word. I think its pretty cool he can read a hebrew bible, and by god how more accurate can you get for the OT from a hebrew bible xD

SaintXenos oh for god sakes......... Hell ISNT OPEN right now. The first to enter hell will be Satan and the anti christ. until then Hell is sealed until the rapture. "but Saint Xenos, if people are not in hell right now then where do they go smart one?" They go to Hades, a place very briefly mentioned, but only one key chapter describing it what its like to be in it. a famous story of the rich man and the poor man Lazarus. Luke 16: 22-24 22: Now It came about that the poor man died and he was carried away by the angels to Abraham's bosom; and the rich man also died and was buried. 23: And in HADES he lifted up his eyes, being in torment, and saw Abraham far away, and Lazarus in his bosom. 24: And he cried out and said, "Father Abraham, have mercy on me, and send Lazarus, that he may dip the tip of his finger in water and cool off my tongue; for I am in agony in this FLAME." extrememly brief but direct in description. from the looks of it, it doesnt sound any better then Hell (the lake of fire). It seems in hades you feel just as much agony and heat from a flame. but that is all that is given to us from the bible. "But SaintXenos, what if Hades is just the same meaning as Hell?" It is not. and as described in revelations: Revelations 20: 12-15 12: And I saw the dead, the great and the small, standing before the throne, and books were opened; and another book was opened, which is the book of life; and the dead were judged from the things which were written in the books, according to their deeds. 13: And the sea gave up the dead which were in it, and DEATH and HADES gave up the dead which were in them; and they were judged, every one of them according to their deeds. 14: And DEATH and HEADES were THROWN into the "lake of fire". This is the SECOND death, the lake of fire. 15: And if anyone's name was not found written in the book of life, he was thrown into the lake of fire. There so WHATEVER those people saw, considering it to be dark and frightening, they most likely saw Hades. And if that's the case, I don't blame them for being completely scared. they are most likely one of gods "non chosen" and will directly go to hades if they die. I agree....they must have thought they saw it.......my mother was in a bad car accident and whenever they revived her my dad said she just saw blakness and that was it.....shes saved by the way oh good, glad someone agreed with me right away. wink you know its funny about Hades.....i mean why would God create a seperate sort of limbo place thats similar to hell, instead of just opening Hell right away? of course god isnt obligated to tell us ALL the reasons for his creations and actions but it still poses an interesting question. course the chapter i mentioned of the description of what its like to be IN Hades doesn't seem as bad as it would be in Hell. course then again....ive never been engulfed by a flame and the rich man that went to Hades said he was in a flame. *shrugs* dont know just all very interesting.

AnimeMonkey chewmynails my Mom died when my sister was born, but they brought her back. she didn't want to come back. she said it was wonderful being dead. she saw her body and the doctors, and the baby, and wanted to go enyway. but ehr dead realtives told her it wasn't time and made her go back. so she did. That reminds me of a story I read 3nodding
