There's no big deal with painting your nails -- lots of GLBs actually advertise decorated false nails, and they're super cute~~!
So long as it's not a tacky neon orange with a shiro loli getup...

 i support cupcakes...It might depend on the outfit but probably white, creamy pink, sparkly pink; pastel colors. And french manicure! (What I have right now) and eating them =]

I'm not even going to read anything on here because I bite my nails into little stubs and cant do a thing with em... crying
maybe I'll try fake nails, I think I saw that in the glb.

I just painted mine in french tips myself, I have short nails though so it looks a little funny. I can't keep mine long because I tend to break them off because I don't like the feel. razz I can't stand them clicking on the keyboard...
The easiest thing to do would buy some plain false nails and paint them before putting them on, I've seen a few people do that.
I've noticed Kana wears her nails long usually, but Nana Kitade and Mana tend to have shorter nails (mainly I think because you can't play guitar with long nails at all! It mades the strings sound funny)

I think it depends what kind of lolita you are!^^
I personnally use black, white and creamy pink for my industrial lolita look, but sweet lolitas can give their nails any creamy looking colours ( I have a sweet lolita friend that painted her nails creamy pink and creamy yellow, guess what? they are great! <3)
Very dark purple and black and white would be great for punk-lolita and gothic loli's and erm... I guess white suits everythin actually!^^ heart

Asn soon as I can take a pic I will,but I got my first acryllic manicure,and I think it looks lolita! I have rounded sparkly white french tips,with a little strawberry painted on each ring finger!! heart I think cute little images are darling!

what i've found to work with many of my outfits is:
(i get acryllic)
just simple french manicures
or studded ones
i think i got a cream name and has a gem on each finger but a different design
(i saw a picture of a japanese band in the jap. magazine CURE...it was on some guy from some band i don't listen to)
but it worked nicely

How cute! I typically paint mine black and white. alternating between each color with each finger. I'm simple like that.
