Tokay-Spirit I know I've only been here for a while, but it seems like this place is a ghost town... with SOME fans running around.... probably stealing apples. (Yeah I saw you!) Anyway, talk to me peoples! (Random questions: What made you like death note? Who got you into it?) I liked Death Note because of the story line, and the characters are so amazeing! Meh best friend got me into Death Note 3nodding And I dun eat apples...only... cheese_whine ^-^

Sister brought it in. razz and i was tight on money so any manga she bought i read. when she brought deathnote into the house i was hooked. thats almost the only manga i would take to read at the dorm and then return it.

I got into Death Note when a friend of mine was reading volume one. I was curious what it was like and read it. I was hooked the moment I saw Raito write down the name of that annoying biker. Now I have all volumes out in the US on my self and awaiting with growing anticipation the movie.

A long long time ago, like when Death Note the first manga came out, I picked it up at a bookstore and started to read it. At first when I finished the first manga I thought it was boring and didn't want to waste my time reading it. There were lots of other manga out there that I would rather read, so I left it in the bookstore for a year or more. Then all of the sudden, a year later *BOOM* everyone starts talking about Death Note and how good it is. I said to myself, "Okay...well, I didn't like the first book, but I didn't really understand it either and it was kind of confusing" So I went back, picked it up and reread it. THen it turns out I really the manga, the storyline and the whole how the two genius's are always continously against one another. So I came to like Death Note a lot, esspecially L XD

the frist time I read it.................... well, someone left the shonen jump in my moms office and never clamed it. she gave it to me, knowing I like manga. to tell all truth, I was not interested at frist. later on, I started likeing it more then here I'm now.

Death Note...It began on the holloween issue of shonen jump...At first I was kinda iffy about it...Ok, I was creeped out by it...but something about that small bit of manga stuck in my mind...One month later, I saw the first Volume...and I picked it up. I Began reading and I was instantly hooked. Love it, I can't wait for the movie to come out in america, it looks so good

My friend who's nickname is ghost introduced me to deathnote. I came to this site on my own and I am one of the rare people who actually does like Raito even if he is evil. I'm a bit evil too so that's ok. I dislike Mello the most of all the characters because he has no morals. Raito had morals even if they are twisted.

I read the preview in Shonen Jump like, one or two years ago. My mom read it too, we both instantly loved it. So we went out and bought it.
And this title makes me think back. There used to be a guy in my class named Lindel Tailor. Yes, similar to the guy in the beginning of DN. xD Well, the weird thing is after I started getting into the manga he suddenly stopped coming to school. o_o Coincidences are funny.

How I got into it: I heard it mentioned a few times by people online, but never decided to read it (plus, I was stupid and didn't realize scanalations existed xp ). Then two of my friends borrowed the first two mangas from someone, and they both said that it was really good, so I found some scanalations and read the entire series in ten days. And now I'm buying the mangas, but I've only bought up to book 6. I feel bad now for only discovering it two months ago. crying Erein-san And this title makes me think back. Umm...i got into Death Note thru my friend who kept buggin me 2 read it. i wouldnt til it was on youtube xd . Now Im almost as obsessed as she is.
