Katleene-chan Calunio Katleene-chan is it too late to start participating in this forum? i want to learn more portuguese. Of course it's not too late. But do you speak some Portuguese already? If so, the first lessons may be too easy for you. In that case (only if you find them really easy), you can skip some. I only know a few words... and a few phrases.. but that is it. my boyfriend speaks it.. and so I am trying to learn portuguese. He has taught me a little bit, but that is it. Ok, you're welcome to join us. razz I would suggest you start from lesson 1, do the exercises, and take some time (about a couple of days) before moving forward. My feedbacks on the exercises usually come pretty fast.

(and I speak Spanish, so this is pretty easy so far biggrin ) Lesson 11. um tio feio 2. umas gatas estranhas 3. o vendedor pequeno 4. os meninos gordos 5. umas alunas bonitas 6. a cadeira nova 7. um menino jovem 8. as meninas feias 9. uma vendedora gorda 10. uns martelo amarelo 11. a amiga velha 12. um diretor jovem 13. o profesor gordo 14. uns tios velhos 15. o martelo grande 16. um aluno jovem 17. a diretora bonita 18. uns meninos estranhos 19. o menino magro 20. o gato pequeno Hey, welcome! Very good, only one mistake, which was probably an accident: 10. uns martelo amarelo It should be "uns martelos amarelos" ou "um martelo amarelo". I'd say 1 lesson a day is pretty fast, but if you know Spanish and it's too easy, that's not a problem. But I'm sure it'll get harder on further lessons. 3nodding

yuna1881 I did rush it was late at night too, next lesson I'll spend more time on sweatdrop I didn't mean you rushed through each lesson (I don't know that), but you did two lessons in a single day. There's really no point in finishing the course as soon as possible, because it would only make you forget what you learned faster. 3nodding

He tried teaching me before but he sucks as a teacher haha. anyway I'm loving that you put together this course I'll get to doing the next lesson soon!

Dave Lesson 2Portuguese to EnglishThe women are pretty. The book is blue. The little boys are sick. The house is clean. The young actor is American. We are happy. I am tired. You are married. They (f.) are Brazilian. You (pl.) are dirty. English to PortugueseO martelo 頶elho. As cadeiras est㯠sujas. Eu estou feliz. Voc꠩ feio. O aluno estᠴriste. Os professores velhos s㯠americanos. Voc꠳㯠bonita. Os livros s㯠azules. Os gatos s㯠gordos. O diretor estᠤoente. (helpful note: You spelled brasileiro once in this lesson as "brasilieiro"! It's in the part where you listed the vocabulary) Thanks for the correction! I won't edit it now because the Gaia text box is turning accents to squares (as you can see in this quote), so it would completely screw all the format of the lesson. Again, very good. You made one mistake on: "Você são bonita" which should be "você é bonita" ou "vocês são bonitas". And the plural of azul is azuis, but that was my mistake. 3nodding
