Ubel made a soft sound at Grave when his hand was squeezed, lacing his fingers with the other's as he noted that Grave seemed to be a bit spooked, then squeaked when he saw Grave point rather suddenly. "Torrid," he murmured, recognizing the other and waving at him, a small smile on his lips. This... certainly was proving interesting.

The Melancholia District here on the edge of the Black District is still mostly tightly-knit streets populated with artist's studios, scholar's humble abodes, halls for fortune telling and skrying, even small apothecaries offering supplies and goods. The architecture on this side of the city is mostly composed of black basalt and granite. Everything is intricately carved and chiselled, with wrought iron fence posts and window shutters. Nearly every house in this part of the city has melancholic coloured stained glass windows that cast the occassional shadow of red, blue or purple across the smooth flagstones of the streets. Here and there between the houses, barrels collect rain amongst thick weeds; the occassional rat or raven picks through garbage bins. On the rooftops the glisten of rain or frost catches the bright moonlight and sets everything aglow with eerie silver light.

"Hi, Ube..." She greeted softly as she approached, chills running down her spine as the other girl by them looked at her. Oh, dear...how had she managed to get on this one's bad side? "I just thought I'd say hello..." she added with a half-wave to Grave and the girl, putting a hand on Ubel's shoulder and ignoring the fact that he seemed to be holding Grave's hand. "I'll catch up with you all later, I suppose.." she murmured, moving a bit away and heading toward another girl who seemed to be by herself...Aysel knew how that felt. "H'lo...!" she called to the girl, who now was digging through her bag, and smiled in greeting.

Ubel smiled at Aysel, though it faltered when she said that she would catch up later, meaning she was leaving. "Oh... okay. I'll talk to you later, Aysel," he said softly, reaching out to touch her hand lightly as she pulled away, before looking at Grave again.

Drawing close to whoever is near him quite suddenly Nadyrr motions to a nearby house his eyes wide, "it is just lovely...the window and..." he pauses looking over the silvery mists covering the ground. The scene touched him in some way he couldn't explain. Letting a soft sigh escape he moves almost hurriedly back to the group seeing that he had stopped to stand in place staring.

Antigone squeaked when she was h'lo'd at, but put on a bright smile and waved at the girl as she snapped her notebook shut again, tucking it back inside the messenger style bag. "Hallo there," she said, her voice as bright as her smile. "Antigone," she said by way of introduction, holding out her hand. "Wanna go get our fortune read?" she teased, a bright, playful look in her eyes.

Elanin smiles and stiffles a laugh as she moves along with Nadyrr, after all, it would be rude if she'd just left him in the dust. "Yes, the it very beautiful," She says with a light sigh, feeling a little bit more relaxed now that she has someone to talk to and still keen on hearing the end of the professor's story, after all, the subject of the story must be important if he was telling them.

Torrid closed the distance between them with a quick jog, smiling despite the deep feeling he had of 'the willies'.
"Hey, Grave!"
He noticed a girl parting from the group as he joined with them, and noticed Ubel following that. "Oh hi, Ubel.... I didn't see ya there." He offered him a smile as well. They're holding hands. they must be scared.
Torrid took in the architecture around him, clearly quite amazed.
"Would you look at this place? Wow."

Ubel smiled softly at Torrid, keeping close to Grave and wiggling his fingers in a wave. "Hey," he murmured in greeting, still feeling just a bit nervous about Torrid, but otherwise liking him rather well. "It's amazing, isn't it? It's so big... and so beautiful!"

Task the Second Hallowe'en Movie Quotes!! The Object:Shortly, 4 movie quotes will be posted up. Each of the quotes is taken from a favourite Hallowe'en-appropriate movie that Taro owns. Your Task is to correctly identify which movie each quote is from. These movies may be horror, animated, thriller, comedy, musical, old, new or just plain scary. The only consistent theme is the unsettling, spooky or gothic sort of content in the flick. Good Luck! The Rules:You may only choose to answer only 1 of the 4 movie quotes. The first person to correctly answer each question will win a prize. That means that four people will be walking away with prizes from this Task. When answering, please copy the quote you wish to identify, and then answer your guess as to which movie it came from. (bonus points if you can tell which character voiced the quote, although this is not necessary to win a prize) The Prize:Each of the quotes corresponds to an event-specialized TechnoEquip! This means that these four TechnoEquip items are one of a kind. We can't divulge what these prizes are specifically, or it may give away what movies the Quotes are from, as each one reflects the nature of the movie content.

"Aysel." She replied, her smile widening as she took Antigone's hand and shook it. "Fortune-telling?" she asked curiously, falling into step beside her, "Whatever do you mean?" She got the feeling she was being made fun of, but for the life of her she couldn't figure out why...or even how. But Antigone seemed friendly enough, so she brushed it off.
