Oh yeah, I can talk about it now...
Everyone is urged to read Mike Carey's novel The Devil You Know, first in the I-know-I'll-buy-them-all-twice Felix Castor series.

I truly enjoyed the Incarnations of Immortality series by Piers Anthony. Clive barker's "Thief of Always" is a good quick read. And, of course, can't go wrong in the Discworld. heart heart stare heart heart

I finished Son of a Witch a while ago, but I forgot to mention it in here. Whoops.
It's not as...intriguing as Wicked was for me but the last sentence/ last four words made it all worth it.

GLKilowog Kyle_Rayner All of you need to go purchase or check out and read Bury My Heart at Wounded Knee. Immediately. What if we read it 6 years ago? Thats great. It was required reading material for my Native American history class in middle school, the year I took it being the first year it was offered incidentally. That was about twelve years ago now. I wasnt referring to me and you, of course. But, I encourage you to read it again, since its been so long. Thats what made me recommend it, I picked it up in paperback not too long ago.

Got back to reading Hero with a Thousand Faces by Joseph Campbell and picked up The Problem of Pain by C.S. Lewis.
The first is excellent and makes me want to go back and read a lot of myth all over again. Lots of useful things to learn here.
The second is an explanation. Why pain? Why suffering? Read and find out.

I've been bookshopping! THERE WAS A SALE!

Really looking forward to this. Wicked is one of my favourite books.

Robin Hobb is one of the many authors slung into my path by people I now owe big time. This is at the top of my To-Read list.

Doesn't he look adorably devious? Makes you wanna pinch his cheeks and then check your wallet's still there.

I bought the last two books in the series from a charity shop, and I think I'll really enjoy it. I like Italy, and Fantasy, so a Fantasy version of Italy...

Son of a Witch isn't too bad. Like I said before, the last sentence will make it all worth it though.

And I know some of you have seen the Russian movie Nochnoi Dozor, or Night Watch, and I bought the first book of the trilogy by Sergei Lukyananko, on which the movie was based. I'll be posting a review when I finish it, but be warned now it's a huge tome of a book, so I won't be done any time soon.
What is it with Russians and huge books? I ask you...
