Michael's eyes were closed. The song lingered on his thoughts....
So... On the first night,
a pebble falls to the earth from somewhere.
So... On the second night,
The pebble's children hold hands and sketch a waltz.

So... On the third night,
The children of the waltz cause ripples on the face of the world
So... On the fourth night,
the children of the wave spray the shore.

So... On the fifth night,
those shards strike the face of the earth over and over.
So... On the sixth night,
those signals bring travellers together.

a song from somewhere reaches my ears.

Such a beautiful song (from trigun) that he loved, and hated. Michael heard the voice, and it snapped him from those feelings, he opened his eyes slowly, flames flicked in them, "Because I hate you, and I'm just a b*****d like that." The words were acids on his lips, yeah, they came from a b*****d too. Michael stood up, "ya know, if I try hard enough, I can burn your little projection....or send the energy through to connect to your body...." Michael smiled, empty, eyes, empty....his hands held a large ball of fire. He didn't think he could do it, and didn't want to know...

"Well I have to tell you something. From one basterd to another and yes I'm one two. In case you didn't notice I was adopted as well as you. Your so much older then me and yet your acting so imature. You pout like a baby thinking your the only one hurt by your parents. Well your not. I had to here that I was useless right up to the point were I was taken to the adoption agency," a passion resonated from Ichi's mouth like water from a damn, "And to think I liked you when you first came. I thought you were so cool until you kept putting up your front around me and the others," he spread his arms exposing his clothed chest, "If killing someone that likes you will make you feel better let me be the first because frankly I have no regrets in life," he sneared at him coldly trying to instil alittle sense into him.

Michael laughed softly, andthen a bit louder. He concentrated on the flame, to make it just like....like a bomb of light. "You shouldn't wish for death upon yourself so quickly." The ball exploded and a huge bright blinding light surrounded them. Michael quickly left the school, but he stopped. It was only in his mind but he heard the sound of a gun. And the body fall bloodily before him. (all in his mind~ )

Lily had seen the incident, and had ran after to find the two boys. Fighting wasn't the answer! She arrived in time to see a bright light. She stopped a moment, she couldn't find them anywhere....but then she saw a spot of fiery red. "Michael-san..." she whispered and ran to him. He looked paler, and scared almost....
Lily grabbed onto his hand, "Michael-san!" She said loudly. Hoping to snap him out of whatever trance it was. It didn't seem to work very well. Lily attached herself to Michael's waist, "Michael!!" she almost screamed, the cloth of michaels clothes were wet where her eyes had been. She didn't know she'd been crying.
When people are afraid, some cry....some try to run...

"Michael Michael snapped out of his trance and looked bewildered at the small girl. Michael had a look of embarassment...not to mention he definatly felt like %&@# now. He laid a hand lightly on Lily's head detaching him from her, "Gomen." He whispered.
The light was still strong, but was dimmer than before...Ichinosai was most likely back in his body now.

Lily wiped the tears from her eyes. She was worried about Ichinosai, she didn't know much about....project was it? Things such as that just didn't seem to normal....but then hardly anyone in this family was. "Michael-san, lets go home. I have to check on Ichinosai-san too." Lily looked up at him, then timidly grapped his hand and pulled slightly.

Ichi was in fact was in his body, but he still laid there feeling the sting of the flames. He eyes were sore from the bright white light so he left them closed so he thought, "Hmm... I guess I'm still on the floor," still laying there he felt paralyzed by everything that has happened.

Rose, being completely and nearly unaware of what was going on outside from the firebolts and Ichi freaking out over being attacked made the chicken. She wasn't usually one to not know what was going on, but when Lily ran off quickly she couldn't help but know that something was wrong.
Rose ran as quickly as she could after Lilly. "Lilly! Michael! Ichi?" She came to the scene as Ichi faded away. Knowing a little bit about what likely caused that she wasn't entirely alarmed. "What in the name of all that is holy goes on here children?" She was irritated and it was likely that someone was going to have her wrath poured out upon them.

Michael grabbed Lily's hand softly and they walked home, he was careful to avoid Rose, the bat was old, but she still had teeth.
Michael sepereated from Lily when the arived home, and he took another entrance and went to his room.

Lily walked in silence with Michael the entire time, but it was fine with her. When they sepereated, Lily went inside and fetched a cool rag. She went down the hall to Ichinosai-san's body and laid the rag on his eyes. "Ichinosai-san, how bad are you hurt?" Lily said lightly brushing the strands away from the others face. THey were a bit singed, but it seemed only a heat brush...but she wasn't quite sure.

Rose gave up and came back to the house after a bit and looked around. She checked on all the children and when coming to Ichi she nearly screamed out with rage. "Ichi? What happened?" She was starting to fume. Rose was not someone to push around or get in trouble with and now it seemed her dinner was ruined. She'd burnt the chicken during her pursuit outside after Michael and whatever was going on. "Did Michael do this to you?"
Before he could answer the fire alarm in the kitchen started to ring out clearly and irritatingly as she sighed exasperated. She held up one index finger of her delicately wrinkled right hand and stepped out of Ichi's room and back to the kitchen. She pulled the burnt chicken from the oven with a frown on her face. She hadn't been so angry in a long time. She even felt tears welling in her eyes. She was so stressed and felt so overworked. Why couldn't these children understand that? They had to spat and fight all the time. Where was Yoshitaka? He needed to get her yesterday already! If it wasn't for Ichi and Lily, the most innocent of these children she had half a mind to hang up her apron.

Ichi couldn't speak. He was too much in pain, and he was weak from the astral body experience. So the only thing he could do was to talk through them through there minds, "Lily I'm okay and yes it does hurt but it is starting to feel better. Miss Rose I'm so sorry about tonight, but it wasn't Michael's fault. I was the one that teased him and I guess he couldn't handle it," Then it was time to find Michael. Once again Ichi picked up on his mind wave and talked to him, "Michael. I'm sorry if I got a little overboard with the blood thing. I told Miss Ross it was me. Don't go away," Since he was also in his mind he knew he was thinking of running away again. The only person that he couldn't find in the house was his new friend Shiro.

Shiro had wandered to a small study and was leafing through the pages of a book. Memories were coming to him. Startling. Fresh. Vivid. His breath came quickly to him, almost ragged with the excitement. He was never allowed to touch books at home. But he just couldn't resist here. With no one to stop him. His hands trembled as he flipped through the pages, mind soaking it all up greedily.

Ichi finally found him in one of the study, "Shiro? Are you okay? Were are you?" like a worried parent Ichi was acting frantic for his disappeared friend. He knew it was silly, but he was supposed to take care of his new friend.
