LilaMalvae I severely recommend against such actions. You are literally stealing their energy and taking it into yourself, exposing yourself to whatever taint or residue they may have from their dealings with people and supernatural critters (latter applies to channelers and energy-workers). Its kinda like shaking someone's bare hand-- you don't know if they've washed it on their last trip to the bathroom. sweatdrop Do you really want to think about that for more than three seconds? I don't. If you want an energy buzz, try attending a ritual. Normal rituals raise energy for their purpose... You could also try trancing techniques such as drumming, dancing, or meditating with strong incense or by burning herbs such as white sage. Burning incense, resins, herbs, and warming volatile oils in a diffuser usually help me a great deal when I need to enter a trance. Rituals can't really be done in the middle of school, can they? And don't we shake people's hands anyway?

Hello,
Someone said that I might have an energy leech around me?
(which might be true b/c half the time, i feel like life is just draning from me)
But I used to have this strong connection with natrue, mostly weather, but it was strongest back where I used to live (and i'm just thinking about this now!) , and there there was a lot of spiritual activity. (okinawa japan. check it out, go there some time. it's beautiful. ^__^)
And there, we'd have typhoons and what not, blah blah blah, so I'm wondering, now that I'm in the states, in a small town with almost no energy, (ecpet the negative energy i face from people at school sweatdrop frigg'n peoples..) could it be this place that has surpressed my energy..and there is also these two girls, one hates me, and one hates me but tolerates me alot more than the other girl.
Think they could be trying to drain me?
or..am I just being paranoied xd

Think they could be trying to drain me? or..am I just being paranoied xd It could be that you got so use to having you sheilds down when you were around the natural energy that now you are in a new place with a different sort of energy that doesn't agree with you could mean you haven't put those sheild back up. They may not be trying to drain but they maybe effecting you anyway. I would say to carry something to ward of the negitive energy. My personal favourite it tigereye but you should use which ever suits you best.

LilaMalvae I have something to contribute to this conversation, since I have delt with it before. I am a channeler, and I do specialize in psychic shields. I, in fact, have two friends with the psi-leech problem. How it works: They will not die. They will not become physically ill if they do not leech out energy. They do generate about the same amount that we do on their own. They have to in order to generate an aura. Everyone has an aura, and even some objects have auras if the energy is particularly strong within them. You might get a "bad vibe" in a house or around certain people. Anyway, I don't want to go on and on about how energy and auras work. Psychic vampires, or psychic leeches, whichever term you all prefer, can and usually do drain energy from outside sources consciously. One who is not practiced may not know how to "turn it off", and even practiced leeches may sometimes forget or lose concentration. I don't know if they have holes in their auras, but I do know that energy does give them a natural buzz. Most channelers, in fact, are attracted to the flow of energy between each other. Some channelers happen to syphon from other people, some from the earth, and some can even "channel" spirit guides. They can all usually project energy about as easily as they consciously syphon it towards themselves. Once you become accustomed to it, it feels much like you are pushing through water, in the sense that the energy trails behind and follows your movements and motion of will. Psi leeches can "turn it off" by putting up shields. I don't know how else they can do it besides syphoning it from the earth, shielding themselves, or by simple sheer force of will. When you have been "drained" by a psychic vampire, it feels as if you have had a very busy and lengthy day, and you are just sitting down for the first time in front of your couch. Slowly, you get more and more sleepy until you either get away from the situation, find a way to counteract the draw, or simply just fall asleep. If you fall asleep, you are in no danger, either. When you sleep, it is typically not because your body needs it. Sleep is a chance for the mind to process information and also, for the channeler, a chance to turn the generators back on. It is very similar to what happens when you hyperventillate or stop breathing altogether-- your body simply passes out and your muscles relax, allowing you to breathe at a slow and relaxed pace. There are creatures who can do this as well.... The Barghest, Black Dog, etc is capable of this form of psychic assault. Typically, it will do this until you reach a hypnagogic (pre-sleep) state. Once you are in this state, you may be very tired, but still aware of your surroundings, yet you find it very difficult to accumulate the willpower to move your limbs. Talking seems to be fine, but in some cases, not even this is a method of movement. The hounds have been known to assault dreams after this point. It may also be that at the point where your mind is playing tricks on you, the barghest simply takes this and uses it to his advantage. I disagree with your "Black Dog" - word I can't think of, might be theory but I think it's more than that - . I have two black dogs and when I'm around them, I feel as though I gain energy.

I believe she is talking about a spirit dogs not real black dogs. The Black dog is a pretty well know legend in England (or atleast the part I live in).

Run for your lives? xp Well, actually, consciously stealing energy is very bad and you shouldn't do it since it can be extremely dangerous. Keep in mind that people's energy is connected to their emotions. If you take all of someone's energy they don't die, but they become emotionless. Energy takes a long time to be regenerated if people don't know how to absorb energy from their surroundings, meaning that you might cause someone to go emo for weeks if you use this trick on them xp i think i was like that for a while. then again i do have alot of friends who are hyper... stare

I'm almost ready to believe I am a sort of unintentional Emotional/Energy leech... As weird as it sounds, it does not happen all the time for me. It usually happens a couple times a week at different times. I can be talking to someone and suddenly be feeling what they were when they entered the room. Depending on their emotion, I sometimes get a big energy boost. It usually only happens with extreme happiness or anger.
It is always unintentional. I don't know for a fact whether or not it is some kind of leech, and no one really seems to have much of an adverse effect being around me (haha).. it just seems like they'll lose their luster after a bit.
Ha, who knows? I might just be because I'm highly empathetic as well...

It helps to block my friend when he starts leeching so it might block you from steal from others. If it is a case of being highly empathetic then if might weaken it enough so you can still feel others but won't be stealing off of them.

I've unfortunately dealt with a few energy leeches, one who did it consciously in particular who I refer to as an "energy vampire" to clarify her nature for those who might not know what energy leech means. She actually nearly killed me when she took too much energy even though I was a thousand miles away at the time.
I've found the best way to deal with her is to figure out where she drains it (I found it was the chest) and putting some type of seal there. I happen to specialize in that type of energy seal and have even put some on people who know about her to keep her from feeding off of them, and it seems to be working so far.
