It was as if the rest of the world just faded away out of existence. The only ones that remained were Cabel...and the wonderful Fae in his arms. Nothing else mattered. Eyes closed, he fluttered his wings slightly as she ran her fingers through his hair. Everything felt so wonderful, he wished this moment would never end.
Maybe...this is what love feels like...

Pulling her lips back she looks down keeping her eyes closed. Her heart was soaring as her wings fluttered alittle. At this point she didn't want to move from his arms. Looking up at him she runs her finger lightly over his cheek, not sure what she should say.

Cabel sighed, breaking away somewhat reluctantly. He didn't know what to say...he was just so happy, and yet so anxious at the same time. Such a whirl of emotions, the poor Pae felt nearly overwhelmed. So, instead of speaking, he backed up slowly, carefully sitting down on the large boulder from earlier and cradling Nienna lovingly in his lap. He just couldn't bring himself to let her go just yet.
"You're so warm...so caring..." He smiled, holding her close. "I'm so lucky to be here with you."

Nienna hides her face in his hair for a moment as she heard him speak. Looking up she giggles alittle poking lightly at his nose "You Master Cabel are very caring. And I'm very glad to be here with you.." laying her head back down on his shoulder she holds him closer as she closes her eyes for a moment "I don't ever want to move again.."
Opening them she looks up at him just looking over his face. He was simply perfect. That was it, he was just perfect.

Cabel chuckled softly, stroking her cheek. "I wouldn't complain," he winked playfully. "Though I suggest we agree to disagree when it comes to arguing over who gets more compliments, or we could be here forever." He paused, pretending to think about that for a moment. "Eh, or not. Forever sounds good to me." He smirked cheekily, looping his arms around her waist and holding her close.
Nothing could make this moment better. This would certainly go down as one of the best days of his life, he was sure of it.

Nienna laughs then runs her fingers along his chest smiling "I don't think forever is long enough to tell you the truth. But that just me I guess." laying her head back on his shoulder she closes her eyes just listening to his heartbeat.
Smiling she turns kissing his cheek again then whispers in his ears "I say we never move again, unless we have no choice..."

Cabel laughed, kissing her back. "Well, we MIGHT have to eat or sleep at some point...though I guess we COULD sleep like this..." He snickered softly, considering that line of thought. "Wouldn't be very comfortable though. And there's still the issue of food..."
It felt good to just be silly again, joking around without that nervousness from earlier. Back to just feeling natural around one another. This was how it was meant to be, he was sure of it now. They had been destined to meet tonight, and everything had worked out exactly as it should have. The Guardians worked in strange ways, but their plans somehow always did work out.

Nienna thought over what he said for a moment then nods "Your right this wouldn't be comfortable at all. And we would need food.." moving from his lap she lifts her hands above her head for a moment then looks down at him smiling.
Was this what the guardians wanted her to learn about. Did they want her to know what it was like to be cared for. Or to have someone to care for? She knew she didn't have this in her pass life. She was to focus on being a spirit guardian to ever try to find someone.

Chuckling, Cabel stood as well, picking up his staff and wrapping his other arm around Nienna's waist. "Well, in that case, I suppose we should be on our way. It's not like we can't come back here whenever we like, right?" He winked, giving her a gentle squeeze.

Nienna nods then smiles "Your right, its easy to find this place. Just follow your heart and ears." resting her head on his chest she wraps her arms around his waist "So where should we go now?" looking up at him she giggles tickling his sides just alittle.

Cabel grinned, fighting not to laugh as he tried to squirm away from her fingers. "Oh, I don't know," he said, pretending to ignore the tickling. "Did you have a suggestion? If not, I'm sure I could come up with something."
There were so many places on the Isle he'd love to show her; to share with her. The beach was always nice, and there was supposed to be a bar there for food and drinks he'd heard. Then there was the river. Nice, peaceful, and quiet. Maybe he could even introduce her to some of his family! He knew his mother would love her. And he really would like to check on his little brother and sister.

Nienna steps back for a moment thinking, her head was tiltied to the side. Wrinkling her nose up she smiles "The beach maybe? I remember my sisters talking about it." with a small smile she nods "Yes I would love to go the beach, if anything so I can lay out on the sand."
Looking around she bites her lip for a moment. She knew it would mean having to leave her forest. She didn't do this often, but she also wanted to be with Cabel.

Smiling warmly, Cabel took her hand in his, reaching up to stroke her cheek gently with his fingertips. "The beach sounds wonderful. And if that's where you'd like to go, it would be my pleasure to escort you, milady."
He hadn't been to the beach himself in some time. He was pretty sure he hadn't been since he was a teen at least. That's right, he was a teen, and he'd met the Elder Polgara, and... His memory got a little fuzzy after that and he cringed internally thinking about the day after that. No alcohol. Ever again.
Shaking off the memory of that horrible experience, he grinned again, offering Nienna his arm. "Shall we be off, beautiful lady?"

Nienna looked down at his arm as she took a deep breath, with a smile she nods "Yes we shall." she looped her arm through his then place her other hand on top of his giving it a gentle squeeze.
Looking around the forest she nodded to herself, she knew everyone would be okay. She knew her forest would be okay while she went off for alittle bit. She laugh alittle to herself before she rested her head against his arm.

Cabel smiled, squeezing Nienna's hand gently as he lead the way through the forest and towards the general direction of the beach. This time on his own had been good for something, at least, as he now knew his way reasonably well around most of the isle.
He looked down at her, resting her head on his arm, and a strange warmth seemed to wash over him. Was this what it felt like to love someone? To be loved in return? If not, then he couldn't imagine anything that would feel better than this. Love must be a very powerful, very dangerous force.
His wings fluttered happily as he lifted a branch out of their way with his staff and they walked beneath it. The day was simply...perfect. He couldn't think of a single thing that he would change about this moment, given the power. He only wished, and hoped, that this feeling might somehow last forever.
