Ian sighed and dropped the woman to the floor turning to face Jude. Leaning agenst one of the counters Ian looked at the poor dead woman and shook his head.
"Quite a show to kill someone who is already dead... Looks like I stole your bonus... I doubt very much that killing her before you is actully going to stop this little crusade your on... or did killing her before you actually do something?"

((Cute one, I'd forgotten about Ian's touch of death..oh well. twisted )) No emotion whatsoever surfaced in Jude's face. "And there you go again. Assuming that I was trying to kill her when she was already dead. All I did was make her look more peaceful. Her head was bent respectfully...before you flopped her the ground, that is." Jude sighed, as if Ian was crude in both movement and emotion. "But," He added cheerfully, or, as cheerfully as one like he could sound. "She's dead. And that's really all that matters, she's going to the same place either way. Now, I guess I'll be off to my next...client." Jude "jumped" back to his warehouse to receive instruction, inwardly seething. The little upstart could have at least caused some pain for Jude to relish...and of course realize that the woman was already dead by the time he reached her. Silent death took a moment to register whereas a painful death was instantaneous.

(( xd ))
Ian sighed shakeing his head and ajusting the body of the woman so it rested peacefull on the ground, muttering a few words he hope that her soul might be saved by the few prayers he said but he didn't expect much. He looked up and saw his own reflection in the mirror and frowned. He looked pretty bad rings under his eyes, hair slightly messed up, and his eyes were unnerving him the most. The fire that once burned with passion in his eyes was starting to fade. Slowly he sunk to the floor. His body partially weakend by the poision he had recived in the last encounter with Jude.
sitting there with his arms over his knees and his eyes void for a moment he slowly stood up and walked out to the street. His movements slow, as if he had aged severly in just a few moments.

((Maybe the depression's for killing a woman who really shouldn't have died yet...that's pretty evil for someone who's supposed to be insuring people their long life. razz )) Jude stalked to his cot and sat down with a heavy flop. Usually concerned with his movements being smooth, it was obviuos that he was angry. He sighed, knowing that the next time he went out, the Mistake would meet him there...and after that as well. He would never be able to get his job done efficiently if the Mistake kept interfering. "What is he doing now?" He asked his master, not really expecting an answer. "Praying for the woman with the hopes that his rayers will influence where she will find herself for all eternity." The voice hissed, surprising Jude. He nearly scoffed. Ian's actions did nothing to "help" the woman on her way. It was the woman's actions in her life that dictated her judgment, not the prayers sent after one is dead. She, of course, would rest with her Father...much to the disappointment of Jude's master. A little smile was all he managed before the pain in his gut began again.

((no, Ian is a very social person and he's been alone for quite some time + the fact that there is no solid death is effecting him as well))
Ian stood up and walked down the silent streets for what seemed like an eternity until he made it to a massive chaple. Whith a giant leap Ian jumped up to the top and sighed looking around as memories of his old friends flooded into his mind. Falling to his knees the mistake cried silently as his memories move to his friends deaths.

Jude stood up suddenly and moved away from his cot. Closing his eyes, he jumped to within a block of his destination and waited. The Mistake would be along shortly no doubt...though between the two of them, the bagger at the grocery store wouldn't have much of a chance. Jude "flitted" to the top of a light pole and sat there, waiting. A teen boy..amazing. He decided, watching the kid run carts back into the store. They were usually the first to fall...and this one's faith would only grow stronger. Jude paused in his assessment to wonder how the people of the city, particularily the families of those killed were going to handle the death. He didn't really care...but it would be interesting to find out. One thing taht probably irked Jude the most about the Mistake was how callous the boy had become. He was going to heavan. That in itself was an honor that many on this world would never know. Jude understood it perfectly...though it continued to irk him as he tried to push the memories down. Why is it that only the ones who miss out...truly understand, he wondered.

A bearly audible scream came from where the boy had gone round a corner, and inside the store shipping and storage area.

Jude was surprised...the Mistake surely wouldn't do anything so drastic as to cause screaming...would he? Jude had only thought the Mistake callous...not evil. That was impossible for a Mistake..wasn't it? He hopped down from his perch lightly and crossed the parking lot quickly, circling around back to where the storage area was. He never let his guard down once, this could all very welll be the trickery of the Mistake.

The wearhouse had only one source of light and that came from an opend truck door that shown pale light in only the area in front of the door itself. The wearhouse was large with several large piles of boxes and supplies forming corridors that ended in darkness. From the moment Jude stepped into the house more then three dozen eyes started watching him.
Out in the light was a small trail of red blood mixed with some green smokeing ooze. They both led down one of the corridors and from the darkness a few weak moans echoed in the shadows...

As soon as he'd entered the warehouse, Jude realized that it was no trick of the Mistake's. Kneeling to the ground he examined a couple particularily large trails of blood with a little grimace. The pain had been fantastic...like rain pouring down on a parched earth...that was another thing that had tipped Jude off. The Mistake should never cause pain..intentionally that is. He followed the trail, bringing a cellphone with a light out of his pocket. ((I'm sorry..I gotta go again xp and I won't be back tonight I don't think))

Dispite the light from the cellphone the darkness seemed to wrap around him and the tiny light. Every so often quick bit of rapid scurring could be heard or a small line of light flashing across Jude's vision due to his light phone. The trail of blood and green ooze continued onwards deep into the wearhouse seemingly furthur then what the storage building could go. The moans continued getting slowly louder as Jude made his way furthur in.

Jude sighed a little. He didn't like the feeling he was getting. The trails of blood he followed had triggered the memory of somkething another Correction had told him of long ago...and he wasn't in all that big a rush to find out what it was. Not to mention that the shortage on light was getting a little irritating. His cellphone lasted only as long as his battery did, and the continuous light was not having the best effect on it. Besides, his hope for stealth was probably already shattered. He got the distinct feeling that whatever he was looking for already knew that he was there. Grimacing, Jude called upon a dark light. It would illuminate the area around him for twenty feet. It was a dark light because while his master could become light itself, it was a false light...and when the Corrections duplicated it, the light became a dark glow.

The dark light lit up the immidate area and before him on the gound was the bag boy moaning and twitching as he lay on the ground the lower half of his body entirely missing as he coughed blood. He looked up at Jude and moaned reaching his hand foward towards the correction.
"K... K... Kill... me..."
He coughed up blood and suddenly he was coverd in a greenish ooze that fell on him like a giant drop of water. The screams from his body sounded like he was chokeing on a mix of his blood and the acidic poison. Soon his screams died and the ooze stopped and pooled at the ground, the boy's body completly gone.
From up where the acidic poision came from was a pair of dripping fangs and several dozen eyes. Behind Jude another spider dropped down from a string and blocked out what little light was left with it's shadow. Each of those spiders were at least the size of a mini-van. Their leg tips looked sharper then swords and each of the spiders fangs dripped with the greenish acidic poision. From down the corridor a smaller spider moved fowards. It was about the size of a great dane and it's lower back body glowed with red veins. It moved up to the pool and then began to drink up what was left of the poision with small slurping sounds.
