I think they shouldnt because if they were how would we know what their effects should be in the show there was many effects and in the games where you could use them there was more effects I think we should settle for the next best thing the Sacred Beasts aka The 3 Demon Lords

if they were to be redesigned so they are more reasonable in strengh and effects then yes they should but if not I belive they should be kept as collectables

No there is no reason to make the God cards legal...if they reprint them with the effects then they will be far to broken...they should just stay collectable.

Lake Bodom No there is no reason to make the God cards legal...if they reprint them with the effects then they will be far to broken...they should just stay collectable. Exactally...I don't even think this is a valid arguement, or by that I mean thing to be discussed

I say legalize them and make the total effects known.
because fist is that it is way to hard to summon and are still acceptable to several if not many traps [as long as it targets a field and not the god card solely] and Magicial cylinders hurts all of them if they have high attacks

Crono Leonhart Yeah...If they used God, they'd be attacked by all sorts of groups. On the card, they printed "Divine Beast" didn't they? Also, I don't think they should be legalized...It would be one of thoes staples that everyone would get in their decks...Every game would end up the same, and it would take the chalenge out of the game again e_e

i know the god effects, and they are way to broken for duels:
obelisk cannot be targeted by spell, trap or monster effects, not to mention his effect allows you to tribute two of your monsters to destroy all of your opponants and inflict 4000 points of damage, then obelisk attacks directly, game. (4000 atk and def)
slifer can't be targeted either, it's origonal 1000 atk and def is equal to each card in your hand (altering origonal atk and def). not to mention if your oppanantt summons any card, it's atk and def drop by 2000 points, if the drop hits zero before completion, the monster is automatically destroyed. (slifers second head).
ra is the cheapest, its origional atk and def is equal to the three tributed monsters total atk and def at the time (that means equip bonuses count). it can't be targeted either. it then has more effects, pay 1000 lifepoints to enter phoenix form and destroy all of your opponants monsters at once, inflict their collective atk points to your opponant (ra can't atk though). next is pay any amount of life points (you must keep at least 1lp) to increase ra's atk by the amount paid.
all need three sacrifices to be normal summoned and only stay on the field till the end phase of the turn they were special summoned (if special summoned). also they are each 10 level stars, divine attribute, divine-beast type.
edit: i know all this because i watched the anime, beginning to end, and read the manga, beginning to end. also, there effects are on wikipedia's god card page.

at least not as tourney legal cards with effects made by UDE
and yeah god cards = too br0ken
no trageting almost means no death

the god cards effects are based on the manga and show...although they wernt printed with the effects.. and they cannot be used in a duel.. they still have there effects that they provided....

The god cards sounds great to be in the game, but once someone takes out a god and the other takes out the same god, then it'd seem preety weird to have to gods at the same time.
