(( .... I.... I... Can't belive I missed all this! XD sorry?))
Taizen boldly reached out with his hand and attempted to muss Niima's hair as though she were a kid. "Your my kind of people!" He teased, before withdrawing his Hand from any dangerous action Niima could cast upon him, such as a bite, or breaking his fingers. and to further distance himself from Niima, he bounded over the rails and barely seemed to stop for the ladder's rungs to be used. Once he landed, he the other water tribe members, seemed to be quite surprised that the waterbender before them was smiling and energetic, though they refrained from swarming him like they had Taikai. At Musei's pleas, Taikai broke the circle he was in and reached the boy being prodded by the curious water tribe children. "Now now, he's not a toy, leave him be...!" Taikai waved his arms as though shooing penguin chicks, and the water tribe children put on sulky faces for being chastized, several of them running off a few of the younger ones called good bye to Musei, and some even promised to return later. which, was possibly not the best thing for Musei who was probably going to recover when he'd slept.
"Taizen? Oh my, it is you...!" A Middle aged woman with hair the color light cinnamon stepped forward, the first to break the circle, she hugged Taizen who stiffened up, even made a ‘ugh’ sound, like he would have preferred to not be hugged. The woman looked a bit tearful and released him. “Were we really not that important to tell us you were leaving yourself…?” It was weird, her tone was difficult to distinguish between whether she was scolding Taizen, or if she was playing with him teasingly.
“Ah, I just figured since when I first said that I wanted to go to the north pole, and you said that’d be fine, I might as well leave as soon as possible.” Taizen explained, as though his reunion with his mother the equivalent to the meeting of a friend just a few days not seen. “Ah, you really should have told your father, there was a lot of Fishing to be caught up on, without you the harvest was much slower and less fruitful.” The people seemed to take Taizen’s return as a regular occurrence, like the sun completely setting.

(silly)
Her eyes crossed and she gave him a look that could kill. She watched him go and eventually followed, after fixing her hair of course. She leisurely walked off the platform and onto the ground, watching the others being circled by the natives. She remained close to the boat, not sure if she should go closer and get involved. Everyone was involved with the male companions so she just kind of lagged back.
She chuckled at Musei. He needed to get involved with others his age. He needed his youth. Eventually her gaze did settle to Taizen and apparent mother figure. It only took a second before her eyes tore away however, a swell of emotion clenching her heart. Instead of letting herself grow emotional she looked about the village again, taking it in from a different view.

Musei rolled over and sat up, shaking his head rapidly from side-to-side to clear the snow from his face and hair. He jumped to his feet, trying to ignore the stinging cold that had pressed against his skin. He wanted numb, and got even more pain instead.
He just kind of stood there, shaking off the rest of the snow, looking over his shoulder occassionally to see a few of the kids standing there, watching him. They all seemed...sadder now. Like him being there made him automatically interesting, and now he became something like a museum exhibit; untouchable and viewable only from a distance.
That glint in their eyes made him sigh. They were genuinely interested, not treating him just like an amusement. He turned around to face them, and pulled his staff out once more. He stood there a moment, thinking of what to do next. His thoughts finally fell on blasts of air. He smiled. He wasn't the best at it quite yet, but he was sure he could make some snow fly.
He focused, gathering the frigid polar air into his palm, and then shot his right arm out straight, sending the focused air into the nearest snow-drift, sending a large puff of snow into the air. Through the veil of the white powder, he heard the kids cheer. He smiled, rolling his eyes meekly. Gathering another ball of atmosphere, he shot it a little farther, pounding it into the snow bank right in front of the kids. They all cheered, the initial commotion bringing the rest of them back. They all ran back down, and surrounded Musei once more. He blushed, grinning madly. They wanted to see more. And that...was about all Musei knew.

Taizen felt nice inside, seeing Musei using his bending to make friends rather than enemies was a concept Taizen hadn't quite contemplated as an option when he had been younger. He wasn't sure how to react when he was younger. Now he knew what the appropriate reaction was, not to act on first impressions, but to give others a second chance.
When Niima had arrived, he gave her a smile as though he were embarrased of something he'd done moments before, and hoped things could be forgiven. Then he raised his arms, motioning for his mother to see. "This is Niima, she's a friend of mine..." Taizen slowed his speech, trying to figure out the right things to say. "And I hope you like her... Because I like her alot..." Was that the right thing to say? The woman raised an eye brow at her son skeptically. Since when did her son ever like any kind of person? Let alone look embarrased... Look like he is giving any kind of emotion for that matter. His trip to the north pole obviously proved to be a very enlightening one for Taizen.
"I am Ame Nagare. Taizen's mother. I am pleased to meet you Niima." She said to the female airbender, placing one handover her heart and bowing, she had on a welcoming smile. As she stood up, Taikai aproached. "Ah, where is the chief?" He asked kindly to the only water tribe member that he knew in any way. He'd already explained he was from the north pole and on an important mission, but he still didn't know where it was. "yes, sir Taikai, please, follow me." Ame had a light smile on her face, a pleasant one. And with one more kind glance towards Taizen and Niima, walked off to lead Taikai. The excitement now falling, the water tribe member's started returning to whatever they had been doing. Skinning, and cooking, stitching clothes, everything needed to be done in a small society. In the distance several rafts, most ladened with fish, the fishermen were returning, more work, more storing...

Her eyes focused on Taizen and his mother as he gestured to her, mismatched eyes regarding the woman warmly. Staff tucked in the nook of her arm she presses her right fist into her left palm, head lowering. "It's a pleasure to meet you Mrs. Nagare." She never knew Taizen's last name so it was a strange name to her tongue. As she stood straight she kept the smile though something seemed to disturb her..and it wasn't sleep.
She looked at Taizen questionably. He liked her? Alot? Was he hiding the fact that she was his project from his mother? Is that way he was so sheepish? Afraid Niima would point it out? Regardless her cheeks turned a deep shade of pink when his mother looked at her and Taizen one last time before leading Taikai off. For some reason..she felt embarrassed. She waited for a few moments before asking meekly. "Why..did you tell your mother that?"

Taizen looked away as though he hadfound something interesting in the far off snow. "Well, I do like you..." Taizen said matter of factly, but it was more like a 'oh yeah, by the way I like you' way he said it. Like it wasn't that big of a deal. "I mean, what's not to like about you?" He turned toface Niima, he had on a teasing smile. "I mean, apart from your hair sticking out like a sore thumb..." He was teasing... Right...? Well, when you looked at the surrounding enviornments blacks, browns, then whites and blues. Yellow and orange, 'Titian' those things werent particularly seen at the south or north poles. "And why should I not tell my mom I like you?" Taizen asked as an after thought. The matter of 'liking' was kin to saying: 'oh, I like this broth' or 'oh, I like the feel of this fur'
Furthermore, in the south pole, everyone was far more familiar with everybody than people in the earth kingdom would be. If someone liked someone it would spread like wild fire, and in a matter of hours everyone would know. Besides, Taizen had no intention of spending time with any of the other water tribe member's his age. He didn't 'like' any of them. Besides, Taizen had an emotion he was denying that was a little more than 'like.' When the rafts returned, they were immediately informed that Taizen had returned, bringing with him an old man, and two airbender's. "Short;y a bunch of new eyes came too viewthem, but to Taizen's surprise they were more interested in Taizen than Niima, which was strange, because they never seemed to notice him before, and why not notice Niima instead. He was about to say something to the people gawking at him, when a crazy old man(The crazy old man not being Taikai) Came to Taizen.
"Oh, Taizen! Taizen! Taizen!" He yelled right in front of him, and Taizen had a look on his face as though he had been expecting his name to be called thrice, yelling in his face. "I have been looking for you! There'es going to be a meeting at the center! c'mon! c'mon!" And the old man shuffled off excitedly, the new people began to whisper, and Taizen felt uncomfortable. What was goingon? Why were they regarding Taizen so differently? Okay it was back to normal now, but it felt like something was wrong."Niima, is there anything you want to talk to me about Taikai?" Taizen said slowly, as the observers dissapeared.

As he explained she just kind of stared at him, dumbfounded. Her face twisted and a finger shot out to him. She mumbled loud enough so only the both could hear but was obviously careful so that the ears about them didn't. "Hey. There's nothing wrong with my hair. Sure it's different but I'm not like other people." She huffed out a bit and her hands started to tug at her hair. Was it really that bad? Suddenly she wish she had a hood on..or something as she looked around noticing..yeah..she and Musei did kind of stick out didn't they. A sigh almost as if admiting defeat. Then her face took on that look again as she scolded him. "It's not like I knew. You know I am pretty good at reading people but you are confusing at times. You tell me you are just keeping me around because I peak your intrest. One second you act like you care and the next you are allowing danger to pretty much toss me around like a doll."
Her arms folded as she looked away, she huffed loudly. Eventually her eyes lowered to the snow. "I like you to-hmm?" She blinked as she noticed the newer people show up. She hardly seemed surprised that the people where so focused on his return. He was apart of their family after all.
A hand rose to her lips, attempting to hide a giggle as the old man basically gave Taizen a shout to the face. Three times. Hearing Taizen ask she blinks over at him and shakes her head. "I don't know anything about what is going on Taizen. I think maybe they are just excited to see you. Come, your people are waiting for you to arrive." Lightly she takes his hand and tugs, dragging him along towards the center so he didn't keep others waiting. The way she spoke, she obviously had no idea what was going on.

Musei frowned, working the gears in his head to do something else. "I'm sorry, but I..." He turned his head when he head the commotion, and smiled. He knew how to get out of this. Normally he would have admitted defeat, saying he knew nothing more, but his gears work productively. "...gotta go." He slid his staff through his bag and sprinted across the snow plain to catch up with the moving...organism of people.
He would have shouted, but he didn't want to disturb the strangers. He already found Niima; her hair blazing out from all the muted colors around her. He ran around the plethora of people and made it to the front where they were. He lost his balance a second before walking briskly next to Niima. "It's...kinda cold here, huh?"

(No worries. While you where gone something was brought to my attention...so..I guess things are going to change...)
Standing there among the people, she felt a tug at her heart. She didn't belong here...surely not at Taizen's side. No matter how much she wanted to be..she could never belong..she just stood out too much. How could anyone accept her? Truly...
Her eyes lowered to Musei as he spoke, just realizing he was there. The look in her eyes was as if someone had yanked her heart out. "Yeah..It's pretty cold.." Reaching out she placed a hand heaving on the young man's shoulder, ushering him in the other direction from Taizen.
"Excuse us Taizen.." Was called out though she never looked over her shoulder to Taizen. She didn't want her emotions to be known and usually she wore them on her features. She lead Musei to a quiet corner and finally stopped. "You...ready to go Musei?" It was said so quiet..as if it was strained out of her lips.

((Ah, yes... Sorry Nasi... And Sedda.... Were parting...))
Too much. Far too much. Emotion, at first he was a bit depressed from the light scolding Niima gave him, and then shortly became a bit light from her confession.(of sorts) Then he felt humiliation that he was beingberated by theguy he had dubbed 'a special case' prior to his excursion, then he felt something dark enter his body, or rather; it had returned. A small hint of distrust, he'd asked a question, and with the way the crowd every so often glanced towards, him it was a reasonable question to wonder whether he was the only one left out of the loop. As he tried to lead them through the crowd, he found with some irritation that the chieftain was on a dais, and people werebustling about, he barely had time to hear "The southern tribe has recieved two new generals in the upcoming war! Master Taikai! And Our own; Taizen!" There was a cheer, and smiles lit everyones faces, all except two, one was Taizen's, he was surprised, and this was not a happy surprise, Taikai had planned it from the beginning...! The second unhappy face was niima, the happy water tribe cheered, and clapped, the men pushing and clapping Taizen on the back as though they were dear friends to him. Which added to his unhappyness. Furthermore, the light feeling he'd felt earlier had vanished completely when he was pushed onto the dais. And Niima had at some point released his hand. Now he could see her dissapearing figure, Musei in tow. What? Was that it? So Niima and Taikai had conspired against him indeed! What? Did Niima plan to leave them the minute Taizen reached the south pole?! Red hot anger shot through him, and he looked away from the two brightly colored figures that were retreating. Let them leave, he didn't care, it had all been a trick, one cruel, cruel trick. Yes. Far too many emotions. Underneath the rage, and anger. Over his icy glare at Taikai, overthe roar of cheer's, and the talk, he couldstill feel pangs of lonely-ness shoot through his body. He was alone again. Surrounded by these people, these people he'd lived with all his life yet never felt any kindship towards... Next to Taikai who he had treatedlike a kind of father. He was lonely.
((Farewell.... For now...! : ))

Her head tilted hearing the chieftain's words, her eyes wide. She turned fully to look up at the dais to find Taizen being 'dragged' up. Her face tightened as she watched in utter despair. Just by the look on his face she knew..She knew what he felt. Because it was a mirror reflection of her own. Her eyes tightened and she turned towards Musei as tears strolled down her cheeks. Why didn't Taikai tell her of this? Now she really felt she didn't belong in Taizen's life.
With a shaken hand she grasped Musei's hand and dragged the poor youth off. She found someone and began to speak with the elderly man about purchasing a boat. It wasn't long before a deal had been made. The whole time she couldn't stop herself from crying. It felt like someone had yanked her heart out. If it where not for Musei there she might of done something as sever as letting the ocean take her life. But she had a duty to Musei..
While the boat was being prepped she went about writing a letter to Taizen and gathered some supplies. She felt so..ill..the depression causing her stomach to turn. She would have one of the children bring the letter and the pendant about her neck to Taizen.

Musei remained silent throughout the whole ordeal. He didn't know how to deal with his own emotions, let alone someone else's. His eyes darted back and forth with questions as he was led by Niima, the snow no longer an issue as both of them completely were engrossed in their thoughts.
For Musei at least, it was all a question of what was going on. Everything had happened so fast. Three days ago he was almost killed by a man and had yelled at a complete stranger for trying to kill the man. That, of course, was how they met. They traveled across the water for days, and Musei learned a great many things. And then they had just landed, and now they were leaving the men alone and now were departing. Was there a falling out? Trechery, perhaps? Or...was Niima worried?
Too many questions that he couldn't answer. He stood there blankly, watching as Niima did many things that he didn't understand. But why didn't he understand them? The actions themselves were knowable. The gathering of supplies was plain in sight. But the emotions that fueled it almost made it a foreign action. Everything was rushed, as if she never wanted to see this place again, and every piece of equipment was dabbled with her tears as she carried them to the boat.
Musei opened his mouth to speak, but then shut it again, remaining silent as he stepped into the boat, hoping to at least show that he wanted to help. By standing on the edge of the boat, he wanted to show that he was available for aid; that he wasn't a low-life that would leave her alone.
No, Musei was more than that. So much more.

Feeling guilty, she felt Musei's eyes on her. Standing on the dock she hugged close the bundle of warm furs she had bought for Musei. She collected herself and turned her attention to him. Smiling weakly she rubs the heel of her palm to her eyes, forcing away the tears staining her cheeks.
"Taizen..once told me..he wanted to be the strongest bender in the world. He..never told me why..but it seems he's getting closer to his wish. We..I..cannot stay here with him..I'd just be holding him back..I want his wish to come true so..we are going to leave..."
Her voice cracked towards the end and she lowered her head. Gesturing Musei on board she would offer him the bundle of furs. "Here Musei.. These are for you. They will make..a comfortable and warm bed for you. Why don't you go set up where you wanna sleep down below?" She attempted to keep that smile on her face. Though the boat was painfully smaller then Taikai's boat it was still large enough for three people. Both her and Musei could sleep below in comfort so she was giving him first dibs on where to sleep.

Chewing his bottom lip, Musei nodded. He quickly made his way down the stairs and looked at the different selection of beds. He quickly chose the smallest one, giving Niima the choice of the two larger ones. He plodded back up the stairs, but remained on the last stair to the top, trying to think of what to do now.
He didn't want to do anything, in fear he'd screw something up, but not doing anything at all seemed worse. Walking up to the older companion, Musei hugged her. He hugged her gently, with all the compassion he could come up with in just a simple physical action.
"Niima...if I may..." Musei said, keeping his eyes on the floor. If he looked up, there would be no knowing what he would say if he could say anything at all. "In nature, when something is holding a group back, they leave it behind. Lame animals, sick animals, or just slow animals; they all get left behind. They leave no opening for recovery at all. If you were holding him back...don't you think he would have left you long ago? You've been companions for a long time, right? You seemed close. No, I don't think you were holding him back."
He loosened the embrace and looked up in Niima's eyes, feeling himself the broiling of emotions that splashed across her features. "Now...where to?" He asked not out of rush or impatience. He just wanted to leave here as soon as possible, and hope that Niima wouldn't be so grieved with the memories the farther she went.
Of course, it was only a hope.

She wasn't expecting that. She nearly went into fresh tears as Musei hugged her. Her own arms wrapped about him in a tender hug, her head lowered as she strugged with her own bottled emotions to be strong for Musei. "Thank you Musei. However, Taizen is a prideful one. Even..Even if I was holding him back he wouldn't allow himself to leave me behind. He..promised to protect me...So..it's my turn to protect him."
Her hands delicately patted his shoulders as he drew away, her hands soon falling to her sides. "Where would you like to go Musei? I..honestly have no preference." Her eyes rose and she looked off, hoping to get a glimpse of Taizen from afar but then they lowered quickly as if fear he would be staring hatefully at her. Her eyes meet Musei's and she offered a tender smile.
