Heero and Relena do belong to gether.
My examples are some of their sences in the series and in the Gundam Wing Endless Waltz movie where Heero "shoots and kills" Marte Maya

TabbyMina No Down with Releena!! She is standing in the way of the yaoi goodness!! I am very sorry to all that love releena but I don't I'm a yaoi girl that is why!!! I love my Duo and Heero!! heart An explanatian as to why would be greatly appreciated. My personal preference is the Heero/Relena pairing since it's close to canon and not based only on pure fanon speculation. That's my opinion, what's yours?

Take a look at heero as a man, do you think he could keep someone like relena happy? I, personally, think that Heero was meant to be a wanderer. The way he is towards relena at the end makes it apear that way. relena screwed up his way of thinking so she is interesting to him, but , I also think that heero never really had that big of an intrest in her. I think he just couldn't tell her "No".

I doubt it. by 20 she will have to see who Heero really is and wake up to the truth. heero when he is 20 will probably be gone out of her life for good. YOu see, Heero has no further duty to Her after the end of Endless Waltz so what makes you think he will stay that close to her?

He'd still protect her. It's not like the second she turns 20, everyone on Earth is going to decide to leave her alone. There are still going to be people who think they can get some kind of political advantage by killing her or kidnapping her, so he'd stick around.
Besides, you're assuming that he doesn't have any feelings for her at all. Even if he just thought of her as a friend, he'd stay around. Not to mention that you're assuming all she has is a silly teenage crush and no deeper feelings.

Never mind the deeper emotional connections that may or may not have formed between Heero and Relena, she's possibly the most well-known and influential political figure in the world, and will remain so for years to come. And we all know that influential politicians need bodyguards. Heero will at the least continue doing what he can to protect her, whether it be from the shadows or as a bodyguard out in the open.

In any case, I tend to view it as 'Relena will either have deep feelings for Heero or none at all'. Sure, she might slip out of her 'wise beyond her years' mask for a little while sometimes, but I don't think she would be the type of person to dwell on those kinds of feelings.

I know a boy who has crushed on me for 4 years and he is 2 years younger than me but like heero he always leaves when I start to think it may work out. I have had to put it aside but now tha he is back again for a brief time I start finding it harder to ignore that little tug I used to have for him. but I know its just plain silly. he is only 17 after all and he is leaving the state as soon as he is able when he turns 18.

Who's "they"? The staff? All that was ever said was that the director thought the political and symbolic relationship between Heero and Relena was most important to the story - and it was. Wing was a war story, not a romantic comedy. There'll be time for relationships AFTER they deal with the people who prolong war and kill innocent people for their own gain.
Besides, do you really expect someone like Heero to be completely forthright and understanding of any romantic feelings he might have? He's probably emotionally stunted from the fact that he was so busy training to help save the world. Give him some time to realize how he feels before we pass judgement on him.
