Kimiko glanced at him over her shoulder and exhaled heavily through her nose to the point that had it been any louder it would have been more of a snort.

"Innocent? Hai, and that's why you're in here, ne?" she said. The moment the words were out of her mouth, she regretted saying them. Leave the past alone, Kimi!

She sighed, and turned to face him completely, hands perched on her hips. She gave him a literal once-over, as if trying to decipher his comment. She tapped her foot a few times and sighed again with a shake of her head.

"Customary? Hai, maybe when you have credits to splurge I'll let you make it up to me, ne?" For the first time in a long time, Kimi's eyes sparkled with humor.

This time Kimi did snort as she turned on her heel and approached the clerk behind the counter. He straightened up suddenly, and quickly rubbed at his eyes.

"Akanabe-san, the usual?" he said, wiping his cheek on his sleeve as he spoke. Kimi could tell he had been crying. Had he known Sydnie or one of the others?

"Iie, not this time. I'll have two iced coffees, one without milk or sugar, and one with both." she said, sliding her ID across the counter with a sympathetic nod.

"O-okay..." he said, turning away.

While she waited, she turned to look at Yuusuke, leaning against the counter, and folding one leg neatly over the other.

"I'll probably be kicking myself for this later...But what exactly are you in for, then?"

Yep, true to form, Kimiko was regretting opening her mouth. She knew if she asked about his past, he would in turn, ask about hers. She handed him his drink and took a sip of her own, forstalling having to speak for a moment. Even after she swallowed her coffee, she chewed on the corner of her lip for a moment, looking everywhere but at Yuusuke. Then, she looked up, and said simply:

"I murdered my ex boyfriend."

Well...lets see if it send him running. It is my official crime after all.

Before Yuusuke could respond, Kimi's watch let out an obnoxious beep. She glanced down, eyes wide.

"Oi, looks like we need to get moving. Class in five." she said. She downed the rest of her drink, waiting for Yuusuke to do the same, before grabbing his wrist, and yanking him out the door after her. She completely forgot his warning earlier about touching him.

Reiku entered through the glass double doors of the Student Union. What to get what to get. He made his way over to the countered off section of the large room, designated as "Mom's Fridge", deciding anything snack like was the last thing Michael would desire. What was it he liked? Oh right!. Reiku smiled as he grabbed up a couple tuna sandwhiches and a small fruit salad. He grabbed a couple cartons of milk as well and made his way to the middle aged cashier. As he passed the woman his card he absently scanned the rest of the union, not really looking for anything. Oh, there was Ariko. He'd stop over and say hi, at least. Accepting the card from the casher he nodded his head to her in thanks. She gave him a weird look that he didn't notice.

"Oi, Ariko. You seem in improved spirits. What's in the bag?" Reiku didn't bother to sit. He had to get back to Michael before the next bell.

Reiku chuckled softly.

"Wow, Ariko, I've nver seen you like this before. If I didn't know any better, I'd think you were in love. That special is she. Well...she's not ugly. Way to go."

He looked down at his recent purchases befor favoring his friend with a smirk. "No, I think I like my meals to stay on the inside, but thanks for asking. It's actually for My-k---er Micae---I mean...." Reiku frowned. "My-kun." He finished firmly, giving a short nod. "He's still in the Infirmamry and he's hungry. SO I came to get him something to tide him over to lunch. Looks like I might have to fatten him up just a little. I really should get back. Good luk on your lunch date, we can talk about it in Astronomy later, ne? Ja ne Ariko-kun." He smiled and waved, not even realizing what he had called Ariko. He'd never been so familiar in speech before.

Ariko chuckled as he and Sachiko entered the student union. "Reiku never tried to hit on me or anything. He might have thought about it or something, but found out I'm straight and well, we've just been friends since then." Ariko escorted Sachiko to an empty table, he hung the bags on the back of the their chairs. "But you know what's funny Sachiko. All my friends seem to be gay. I mean theirs Sanzo, Cyndir, Reiku....that''s about it. I try not to let too many people get close to me, figured it's best that way here."

Ariko walked around the table and grabbed Sachiko's hand. He stared into her violet eyes again, pausing his brain for an instant. "So....what would you like? It's your pick today Sachiko."

Morgi yawned slightly before she looked at Eriador again while taking a sip of her coffee.

"It's nearly one o clock. I am very excited seeing youre little puppet show" She slowly reached for his hand and putted hers ontop of it.
"I hope it will be a very memorable show. One that stays in my memeorie forever."

Sje showed a sadistic smirk on her face before she took the last sip of her coffee.
