Venuslovemoon My character is deleted for now. But i am Wiccan i prefer saying wiccan because if i were to say WITCH i get looks like crazy. If i say Wiccan i get confused looks and i can explane whats going on and then they understand a little better and they dont think i am evil any more. I think that is why most prefer wiccan.

if one is afraid of calling themselves a witch because they are afraid of the crazy looks they might get weether the are a witch and not wiccan or they are both, by not calling your self a witch when you are you are in denial, plus you care too much about what other people might think so you arent actually a witch because you arent willing to give it your complete all. i say that because you still hold on to that little factor that people might descriminate you for what you say you are.so there is still that little doubt in the back of your mind saying are we sure this is what we want to do maybe we should try this over here instead.

I might say I am wiccan because I don't feel like explaining what a witch is at that time. Besides that I have no problem with claiming to be both and if some do it might take time for them to work up to that, I do not think it is wrong. You can always mess with people and give them hints as to what you are but never actually tell them, that is fun too. xd

The image of witches//wiccans flying is a stereo type, but some wiccans//witches can make themselves hover or float, or if you really wanna use the word, "fly".... But back on topic, I really dont care which word you use, but sometimes the word witch can be used meanly towards someone, Example: "You Witch!!!".. I personally have no preferance.

But back on topic, I really dont care which word you use, but sometimes the word witch can be used meanly towards someone, Example: "You Witch!!!".. I personally have no preferance. yeah I have had to write notes to my english teacher because he uses the word pagan and witch a lot in negitive ways that could be taken quite offensive. I mean he does not mean anything by and he does reword thing, but sometimes he forgets. There was an other time when he was trying to make a point about of religion in the modern world was dying. So he said every one who goes to church raise your hand. And he was like look there are the only people that are religious in the class. As you call all imagine my jaw hit the ground and I was like "I am very religious, but I do not go to church because I do not belong to a religion that require that of me, that is not a good way to measure weather some one is religious or not." so again he was like, "ok, every one who attends church every week raise your hand" I did not raise my hand, and he was like "didn't you just stay you were very devote to your religion?" that is about when I put my face in my hands and took a deep breath, and explained to him that not all religions require people to go to church, eventually he understood.

I have not had a major problem with explaining wicca to anyone lately. There have been times when people have been confused or refused to listen to what I had to say though. I understand what you were trying to say ealier too MrsBHavin.
