So....did ya miss me? whee j/k...
Anyways, I have one trumpet...a pitiful gold King that has served me well....I've been thinking about getting me a new one, but since it's not my primary instrument anymore crying , I just can't make myself spend 1k on it....
Umm...I only have one mouth piece, a 7C...for my limited use of it, it works just fine...hehe...(However, the dern thing is prone to getting stuck in my Trumpy...argh...I've got the metal chips from where the mouth piece unstucker whee thing couldn't get it out and damaged my horn....twas a horrible day in Trumpet land...)
*cough, cough* I haven't cleaned my trumpet since I got it almost two years ago.... eek ...I know....I know...but I do keep it oiled and the slides greased, so I get a little credit, right?

Masquanade Hey I mean who really cleans their trumpet regulary? . . . wait i can name a few in my band who do . . . Yea...I never clean mine.....we have the band ******** we like to call that clean their instrums like every week. Mostly one of our first trumpets who we don't listen too because he a a*****e.

I think I've only cleaned my trumpet once...but I've only had it for a year. It's a Bach Stradivarius, very nice, but it's kinda hard to tell my case apart from another one in my section's. I only own one trumpet, because before my Bach Strad, I played a realllly bad cornet. I mean, reaaalllly bad.

I had a friend of mine who had this REALLY old bach. I mean really old. It was a strad, but it was brass and had these designs all over it. It was kind of crazy. For all those interested a posted a pretty good, in detail about how to clean your horn in the cleaning instrument section.

This topic died. domokun Anyways I've got nothing much to talk about. But there is this freshman trumpet who sits next to me in class (we don't have chairs until concert season- we just sit by 1st trumpets, 2nd trumpets, etc) and he doesn't form the seal all the around a mouthpiece. So every time he plays air escapes and makes a highly annoying buzzing sound (you know that and he's playing). I want to fix it but I really don't know what to advice him but I did comfront a better trumpet player than myself about it . . . he said he would . . . but yeah . . . it's never happened.
