Uncertain puzzle pieces began to conceal themselves with one another, binding together everything that had happened into one gigantic, purposeful feeling. Fute couldn't place it, but he was sure that what Amelie was saying was right; and so he agreed. "Alright." It was slightly disheartening that she hadn't been able to 100% help him, but perhaps all the same it had been foreshadowed. Both directions had been mentioned in his dream, and this here was the first of the two. Already something good had come of it all, so mayhaps, just hopefully, the other end would be the end of his very confuscious journey. (Little did he know it'd only be the beginning...) "I shall travel west then. And hopefully I will run into this, Sol-Lun of which you speak. I thank you for all your help." His words came out calm and sternly, for the first time that entire meeting it seemed. And with that he limbered up for another second, soon thereafter trailing off slowly into the yonder. He'd forever be grateful for the kind femme's knowledge... END PART 2 :: FUTE X PHIB X AME

PART 3 :: FUTE X SOL-LUN :: BEGINNING His travelling had taken him a great deal of time. Nightfall had come upon him before he knew it, the earth once again singing its melodic tunes through the chirrups of crickets and other nocturnal woodland creatures; like owls. A yawn escaped his muzzle, but Fute didn't want to go to sleep. Not this minute, anyways. He knew he must continue on, and aside from that, feared his dreams would return to haunt him once more. A terrible turnout that wasn't needed. And so he treaded forth. The sands felt cool against his paws as each grain swept through the crevaces of his fur. Tail swished back and forth as a serious stare captivated his facial features. Something told him he wasn't far away, but he could only hope that he was right.
He came to a halt in front of a rather tall grassland area. The grass seemed slightly parched, but all the same the area was where the beachline apparently ended for a short while before starting again, so it felt like a good place to stop. Flopping over onto his side, the gamma pondered everything that Ame told him. What did she mean...powers...spirits....meddling? She couldn't honestly think that perhaps the dream had anything to do with reality, could she? In that way? The conflicting views of his mind began to induce a headache upon him, something that he absolutely hated. This'd only mean he'd have to stop thinking so much, however, and as such he did so. "Meh...Where are you, Sol-Lun?" he called softly to noone and nothing in particular, head glistening towards the sounds of the waves and gentle breezes.

Not far from where the spotted wolf tread, Sol-Lun lay sleeping at the base of a small, twisted tree. It was his way of late, since the chocolate pelted sister of the trees had wrapped her scent around his heart, to sleep at the base of one tree or another. He felt closest to her there, and it had been long since he had seen her.
His sleep was not as restful as it might have been. He was plagued with images he had long since thought purged from him mind. His mother, consumed in fire, burning, dying. His legs churned as he dreamt of running to her, always too late, as he had been in life. But this time, there was something new. The fire was comming for him now. Searching him out. Relentless.
A low whine issued from his muzzle as he contined to sleep, fear causing the edges of his maw to curl. His legs churned faster now as he hastened not towards his mother, but towards his own freedom. He could hear it calling his name. Calling. Calling.
"Meh...Where are you, Sol-Lun?" The soft call echoed in the canyon of his mind and he started awake, trembling.
The Wind had watched his friend sleep as it had watched the other approach. It was not sure how this would play out, but the other needed the old man. It would bring him, but it would be wary. Come, Brother. A wolf-brother approaches. He needs help only you can give.

As the howling chimes grew colder and pierced his body with great force, his body began to shiver, fur bristling every whichaway. The night was no longer calm, and the waves shifted in their place. This caused the male to shoot up abruptly, eyes widening at the view before him. A sigh escaped his maw. "No luck in having peace around here, I guess." Little did he know that the very one he was looking for was so close, yet so far away. He picked himself up and shook off the mess that the waters and sands had built up upon him. "Must carry on." He took a few paces forward with single but almost hesitant strides. He was tired, confused, and overall in no state to be like this. At least not alone. But something echoed in the back of his thoughts. Who you really are... It was a glimpse of something he'd never seen before. A glimpse of a new him. But what did it all mean? He knew who he was already! He didn't need the help of some......whatever it was! Telling him these things! Why couldn't things just go back to normal.
A frown weighed over his muzzle and yet no more than a few seconds later did a scent from afar catch his nose. Taking another giant whiff through the air, he tried to place it, but simply couldn't. He was sure it was another wolf, but who it was exactly, was another case entirely. "I hope it's Sol-Lun" Small murmurs vacated his mouth and he took off trekking forward, trotting at a light speed towards whatever the aroma was coming from.

Blinking a bit, Sol-Lun shook the sleep from his head and stretched. "No rest for the weary..." he jipped to no one in particular. Tongue smacking his lips, he directed the Wind, "Lead the way."
The Wind was good at such things and so, before long, the old wolf stood on an outcropping, overlooking the path the spotted male ambled down. He arrived just in time to hear the male hope for his presence and while he found this strange, he did not question it. Stranger things had happened to him. "What brings you this way, stranger," he called down to the other.

His journey hadn't even started before it was interrupted by another voice; and there was Sol-Lun. He didn't know it was him, but all the same he hoped it. What brought him down this way? "I'm looking for someone." he stated, eyes staring in a focused manner at the other wolf's eyes. "He goes by the name of, Sol-Lun..." He was intent on standing his ground, but if this wolf wasn't Sol-Lun, he'd be off in a flash. Though this wolf was DEFINITELY carrying the scent he'd been after, so it was more than a little obvious that if this didn't pan out, it was back to square root one. Simply no time to talk to strangers right now, however.

The old silver and crimson pelted male quirked a brow and smiled gently at the cheetah coated male. "The rest, peaceful stranger, for your journey is at an end... though, I can't say as to why you seek me. Take comfort in that you have, at least, found me."

The gamma calmed down at once upon hearing that his journey had met its ending point, setting himself briefly upon the ground with a quick swish of his tail, revealing his pleased nature. "Another wolf told me she'd heard about you. Weird things have been happening to me. She said she couldn't help, but that you probably could..."

The Wind had been hiding something. It could feel the fire coarsing through this young male, feel the warmth he eminated. But it had feared to tell the Brother. Feared what reaction the knowledge might bring, so instead, it lied. He is like you, Brother. Though I know not how.
Sol-Lun sighed and scratched behind an ear. He was tired, old and a little fearful. For so long, he had been the only one of his kind, and now, so many in such a short span. He couldnt help thinking that perhaps his number would soon be up.
Shaking the thought from his mind, he motioned with his head back the way he had come. "Come on. This may take awhile."

So many possibilities raced through the courses of his mind that it was almost enough to make him dizzy. So rather instead of thinking about too much, he let what need be settle in his head and nodded slightly sternly. No replies seemed necessary; it would appear that Sol-Lun was aware of where they'd be headed to; wherever he'd come from... His body temperature felt a little feverish which slowed him down some, but all in all, it was about time things got figured out.

They came to the clearing where Sol-Lun had slept and he settled himself before the tree, paws crossed regally before him. "Get comfortable. Nose this way, if you please." While he no longer needed direct nose to nose contact to do what he was about to do, he still needed a vital air passage within range. It was the way with the Wind.

He came up behind the other male quickly and slowed to a halt when finally upon the resting area. Sol hadn't even asked him what was going on yet! That was something the gamma found mighty strange, but didn't seem to question it either; just as he didn't question many things lately. He nodded in response to the other one's words and made himself comfortable not too far apart from the male; a few feet at most. "Don't you want to know what's been happening?" He hoped he wasn't coming off too horridly.

The old wolf smiled. He sometimes forgot that not everyone heard the Wind the way he did. "Of course, cub. Sit. Relax. Tell me your tale."

Fute sighed and prepared himself for a brief moment or two, gathering how to explain everything. ... Nothing. Nothing but word vomit. Ruh roh. "I've been having these dreams....running...from my friends.....I scream....they dissapear....I fall off a cliff!....I wake up in cold sweats. ......... And the heat things!....Heat.....heated paws......accidentally warmed my paw into the fur of another.....don't know how it happened....and just....argh." As soon as his word vomit ended, he collapsed. It all weighed far too heavily on his mind.

While Fute spoke, Sol-Lun delved him. It was something that was rarely detected and he thought the youth would be more comfortable if he didn't know.
The first thing he noticed was the heat wafting off the wolf. It was as though he was facing a fire and Fute was at it's heart. Eyes squinting a bit in an effort to concentrate, he delved further, not wanting to unlock the boy until he was ready, but curious as to the source of this strange heat.
When the fire in the cub's heart cackled at him, he flinched, eyes welling with tears, and pulled out from his delve, panting.
