Meiloyn v2 Tears and Rain Lydia stared at the incomprehensible girl (like so stare xD) and took another drag of her cigarette which spilt it's ash onto the already warm sand, perching herself on a log she tried to make conversation.
"So what are we doing here and how long for?" Her voice kept a cool, even tone. {~{ Our greatest glory is not in never falling,
Mei didn't understand, and now she wished that she actualy payed attention in English classes or had an English/Japanese dictionary with her. She would have given anything for some sort of translator, because it now seems that most of the survivors spoke a language she didn't understand.
Then she tried to say one of the words that her aunt taught her. "Cannibals. There are cannibals." She said slowly in English, trying to make them understandable through her Japanese accent.
But in rising every time we fall. }~} {~{ Confucius }~}
"Don't tell me you eat humans wherever it is you come from." Lydia retorted with a smirk.

((Of course you can, I don't understand Japanese either, but since the plane was coming from Tokyo, I thought it would be an appropriate time.))
Mei was delighted that the girl seemed to understnad, and maybe she found an interpreter after all. "I don't know any English, so do you think you could help me?" she said to the girl in her home tongue.

After finishing a second fruit, Drakul looked out and saw more people a bit further out on the beach. 'Well, this shows that me and Waffles weren't the only ones left..' he said as he began to get up, leaning against the tree for support again. He began walking toward them groaning in pain before he fell, letting out a loud yelp of pain. 'Well, this isn't working out very well. I'll just wait until someone comes over here instead.' Drakul said, letting out a soft sigh. He looked around and noticed a large rock near him. He began limping over to it on one leg, laying up against it as he watched the others, wishing he had someoone to talk to.

Mei judged from the look on the girl's face that she took the English statement to mean that Mei's own country ate humans. "No." She said, another simple English word.

Mei left the small camp to search for some food and something sharp. She didn't find the sharp object, but she did find a very tall tree with bananas. Mei shook the tree, but only leaves came down, so she tried to climb it. When she reached the top, she pulled off two bunches of bananas, but when she tried to reach a third bunch, she slipped her branch, yanked the bunch off, and fell back to the ground. Luckily, she landed in a soft pile of leaves. "Food!" She shouted in English!
