He set about sending letters with couriers and preparing for the evening. Isaris was over seeing patient care and Vallen would make everything else easier on him. Then he too checked on the girls that some family members had looked after while they were out. Still safe and happy. Only then did he sit down at the dining room table and start to shake. Angrily he wiped tears away from his eyes. So much could have gone wrong today and it had but they had left with 5 and come back with 5 by the grace of the gods.

Lura shivered as the thought that their infant sisters could of been with them during all that. "Lyco...what if the girls were with us? Those bandits need to learn respect." he growled. "No one steps to our clan..."
He was wrapping Dep's foreleg while he spoke low. Not wanting to upset his fathers already as he could see both were in their own heads right now. "We should go after them."

"I think if the girls were with us our dads would have formed a monster that no body wants to see ever. They would have done it for us too had anything worse happened. I'm just so glad that Dep is home and now we can fix it all." He didn't understand why they had been targeted. It must have been Dep's reputation but usually something like that would be a deterrent not a magnet.
The thought had been forming slowly in his mind too. "Not as prentices...we need power on our side and if Dads found out they would never let us go."

Isaris went to Vallen to sit by him and lean into his side. "That was organized, they knew the pattern." he muttered. "They aimed for our boys on purpose so Dep exposed himself to keep them safe..."
He was angry. He looked up. "Where's Unduru?"

A dangerous light glinted in his eyes. “Unduru is out back..waiting.” Dep protecting someone was one thing, Unduru on the hunt with his squad was another. He wrapped a long arm around his mate and looked off into nothing. “I cant do nothing, the authorities have been notified but I will not tolerate another attack. Even if I have to call in the whole beast tamer family I will do it, as flat as that area would be once they all rolled out of that glorified fortress of a ranch they live on." His father had been friends with Kiyelt during the war....they would come with all of their scarily impressive firepower and they could pinch the bandits between two tsunamis.

"I'm going to check on the pack..." Lura said as he stood up to peek outside to see Unduru outside with the other pack members. He whispered to the alpha. "Hey, Dep is inside...hurt...can you keep eyes on the ranch borders? I don't think those guys are done."
Lura looked up as he saw a small group of Janarim walking up with a small Shifter Female. "...uh Dad...I think our new pack is here."
He ducked back inside to look to his parents. "She brought us seven..."

Unduru had been waiting for further instruction and slowly wagged his tail at his two legged son. He loved the boys and the girls and his whole family and would do anything for them. Unduru nuzzled Lura's hand, assuring him that he had heard and understood. Then he gave it a quick lick in thanks for the information. So someone had dared to hurt Dep who for all rights and purposes despite their occassional disagreements was his sworn blood brother. He shook himself and let out a mournful howl, the signal to start border patrol...and mean it.
Lyco stayed with Dep, refusing to leave. He felt it important for some reason to stay with the janarim..that at least one person should be with Dep the sensitive at all times. He had saved them.

He stood up with a blink before going out to meet with the breeder. He looked to the seven beasts, then her. As if double checking. At her nod and the passing of paperwork, all the permits and such that proved their breeding. He smiled. Hugged her and she turned to go about her way. He turned to return to his family. "Well, we have seven new family members...meet..." he patted each Janarim head. " The two females here are Jezza and Marloi. Borias, Derrmu, Xenan, Herc and Marko are the boys. Marloi and Marko are twins...wow..."
Dep lifted his head to nuzzle Lyco before blinking as he looked around the youth to the small pack. He looked back to Lyco.
Isaris chuckled. "Herc is the old man, more meant to set the training example for the pups. He keeps the rest in line." It was a testiment to their training that the seven were actually calm behind Isaris. Herc was even sitting next to him looking bored.

He was a bit in aww at the massive force before them.."I didn't think she would bring seven, she must have really liked us as a prospect. Janarim were expensive, or perhaps she had other buyer that she did not like and sent the extras along to ensure they went to a good home, he had known breeders that did that. Some beasts were too precious to get into the wrong hands. "I bet we have some really really good quality critters here. He saw Dep basically ask Lyco what the heck was happening. "Don't worry about it boy, focus on healing." Vallen called out to Dep and Lyco.
He came to stand next to Isaris, warplans momentarily forgotten. "Look at them all! I'm going to have to build them a new lean too, the current one wont hold this many."

He was awestruck by the twins. Marloi was a beauty, her back plates were gold flecked with lighting crackles on her underbelly. While her twin followed the same pattern, their difference were their horns. Marloi's horns were slimmer while Marko's were thick like Dep's. "Dad....they can take on Menzuri..."
He looked at the papers his Pops passed him. "Ooooh, their trained for Menzuri hunting!!!!! As well as child protection....and stealth recon?!?" he looked to the pack. Watching as Borias stood to go under a shadowy patch. His sandy plates were perfect for that in the green. "Dad!!!" Lura was bouncing. "Oh I'll go set them up!!!" he ran off instantly finding a spot close to the house. If these were child protectors he wanted them near the babies room. "I'm setting them up by the girls window!!!"

He patted Dep's nose. "Don't worry, they are help and hopefully a friend for you, not replacements, you will always be number one Dep my lad." He was glad he stayed though he craned his neck, wishing that he could see that fascinating piece of paper and he looked at all the armor, they were beautiful like Dep was beautiful and like the radaku were beautiful, deadly strong beautiful. He looked longingly over, he had a radaku, but a janarim would be a good other mount. He was sure he would get to ride some of them..seven that was one for each even plus one for Dep, Herc his name was, he looked like a character sitting there on the ground.
He gazed at the twins his brother had mentioned ooh black, they would match quite a few of the radaku. "Menzuri..." He disliked Menzuri with a passion. He stood, patted Dep again and was unable not to get a better look at them and he held his hand out with a pleading look for the papers as Lura flew past him to get ready. "Looks like you wont have to build it Dad." He grinned. Lura was going to take that honor.
