Avari caught the Shining Wizard but with complete disregard to his own wellbeing. He went flying forward, colliding into several chairs!
The crowd cheered again, another chant going up
Ho-ly s**t! Ho-ly s**t! Ho-ly s**t!

What a devastating maneuver. Throwing caution to the wind just to maximize damage on your opponent. That was exciting. The game will continue as both men move about in the sea of chairs. Omen holding his skull while crawling back into a pile of chairs. Getting to a seated position against them

Avari groaned as he felt the back of his head, looking over to see Omen already beginning to sit up. It's just not time to get demoralised yet..
Avari followed suit, forcing himself to sit up against a pile of chairs. He felt his bones and muscles ache already, the full impact of this fight already slightly draining.
Spitting to the side, a small pool of blood came from his damaged throat.

Both men began to struggle back to their feet. Omen using the pile of chairs behind him as something to put his weight on to get back to his feet with a bit more ease. But still, the journey back took a moment. The first time being on his feet in a solid minute or two since getting blasted by a chair and then getting tossed into more chairs.
JR: "Both men getting up, wanting to continue this slobberknocker."
King: "I think Avari Fusion is a crazy man, maybe almost as crazy as Omen is! And that is saying something!"

Avari followed Omen's footing and got to his feet. He wasn't sure what to say but he just wanted to break the silence,
"Am I proving myself yet? Or is this just another game for you?"

Who was this guy to seek approval from him. After calling him out. Omen, for the first time, broke out of this calm character he had been. Breaking into a laugh. At first, probably no one but him realized that he was doing so. But after a moment, the quiet laughter would turn into a cackle as he couldn't control himself.
What kind of response was that? Why was Avari trying to reach out to begin with, and what did he expect. It seems like the games were going to continue until both of these men got what they wanted from one another.
It's going to be a long night.

Avari seemed a little shocked at first but from that worry came a cheeky, wry smile. This rookie had defeated nearly everyone he had stepped into the ring with since joining, and now was his biggest obstacle.. a huge obstacle, in fact.
The Man of the Hour started to walk towards Omen, to see if there was any reaction, or if he would just continue laughing.

The laughter broke as his opponent continued forward. It seems like he did in fact respond, almost immediately. He would stand tall, despite feeling every bump he had taken tonight. What was Avari going to do now that Omen had hushed down. Was he going to strike, did he want to wait for Omen to strike, what was the game plan in this very awkward spot that most men would be terrified to be in when facing someone of the same character as Omen.

Avari had been pushing through the mental wall of not wanting to actually end up in a hospital bed, thoughts of the match with Rex going through his mind. But he not only wanted to fight, he needed to fight.. for himself, for the fans, to create his own legacy.
Fusion took a run at Omen and looked to catch him with a dropkick, aiming to flip backwards and land on his feet again after.

The feet would be planted inside the chest of Omen as Avari would be able to get the flip off. The Freak would stumble back slightly.

Momentum was a huge thing as Avari landed on his feet, almost superhero pose as he knelt down a little. He immediately grabbed a chair and looked to throw it at Omen, hoping he would catch it.
If he did, he'd look for a Van Daminator!

Omen would indeed catch the chair but as Avari looked to take flight for the kick Omen would throw the chair upward in the direction of Avari's skull!

Now that is a moment that would be replayed for years to come. Omen catches the chair and, just as Avari looks to jump and spin into the Van Daminator, there is a sickening crack as steel meets skull!
Avari drops on top of an open chair, his body contorted.. and a trickle of blood starts to form from the side of his brow.

Sometimes the risk is worth the award, but handing someone the likes of Omen a weapon, regardless of circumstance, might be a bit too risky. Avari has learned that the hard way as he lays uncomfortably on the cement. Trying to think even though he probably has suffered a concussion from that vicious throw.
Omen wouldn't let him get that time either to think through the pain. Immediately picking up his opponent by his hair, beginning to bring his opponent along for the ride as the two would begin to ascend the stairs in the crowd!

Security followed the two men as the fight continued up the stairs now, fans nearby recording the action and cheering.. many others concerned what might happen to Avari in this moment.
The pendulum had swung again in this match, momentum now fully with the Freak!
