"If I have offsite boarding for beasts maybe more, but they would be project animals to be sold or client beasts to be tamed and sent back to their owners." This was his current plan anyhow. "Lynx has quite a few, to the point where I realized I should have at least one and went and finagled my Xaraan. He was unapproachable when I first met him and we worked it out slowly, the fee for my training him was him himself, they were going to have to get rid of him and I saved him. Now he gets to race occassionally and go on adventures."

"Still.." Sarnai wrinkled her nose a bit. The plan he had for the beasts wasn't a bad one though. Off site boarding would be easier and if it was more for raising and selling or training of others then it made sense. Less likely that the beast would become attached to him and his family. "That does sound like a good plan." It was definitely more legal than her own career. "Sounds like you have a good bond." It also showed he had the patience to deal with the beasts. "I guess I should figure out what I'm gonna do with my life. Right now I am a lowly fortune teller." A chuckle left her.

"Then its you who should have a keldari, I'm sure it would help you with your fortune telling." He wondered why critters were forbidden to a fortune teller, maybe she did something else and didn't want to be known as the fortune teller as well. That would make sense. "Is there something you have always wanted to try? Or that interests you in general?"

"I wouldn't be able to. No room in the wagon." Not for a beast, even one as small as a keldari. Between her and Inaza there wasn't much room. "We travel light. If we can't manage to keep it in the wagon then we don't need it. And with the late hours I wouldn't be able to really take care of an animal." When she went on jobs she wouldn't be there to make sure they were fed. It wouldn't be fair to them. Inaza couldn't be counted on to feed them or make sure they were alright. "Something I wanted to try?" She thought about the question then lifted her shoulders. "I'm not really sure. Honestly I've only ever wanted to live in one place but we travel around Jauhar and Tale mostly."

"It can be fun to try new things." He chewed on a hunk of meat. "Very good choice." It was delicious. "Would you read my fortune?" He asked curiously. He had never had his read before, if one did not count the childish curses that Zasha had tried to hex him with when they were younger. It hadn't worked he had not turned out ugly.

"I am trying new things." She said with a rather smug look on her face. "I'm on a date with you, aren't I?" Sarnai giggled a little. "I don't typically date people I've made kiss a tree." When he asked if she could read his fortune she took a second to sip her juice. "I can, but we would have to go get my cards. I didn't bring them out with me today." They were in her stuff but her bag was back at the ranch. She had thankfully been allowed to stay with Thallassa's family while she recovered from the long trip. She had only planned to stay a few more days though.

"Fair, I am a full time job." He smirked. "Exactly how many people have you 'treed'?" "I'm up for an adventure after dinner if you wouldn't mind." He was ultra curious now. "I must admit that I am having the best time chatting with you." Finally someone who wasn't family!

"Mm, I wouldn't say that." Sarnai couldn't let him think too highly of himself now could she? "How many have I 'treed'? Well lets see.. you would make the fourth person." The others had been trying to hurt her though. Not that she was going to tell him that. Last thing she needed was for him to start asking questions about her secret life. "Sure. I am staying with a host family for the the next few days. After that I will be returning to shifter territory." She needed to get back quickly before Inaza got more than just a little mad. She was costing him money if she wasn't working. "You are interesting, Fluffball." She grinned at him.

"So if I want a second date, I must travel huh? I really should go see Jauhar one day and Tale, I happen to have a bit of shifter and a bit of leaf in me, a gift from either parent..oh and some very hidden alkidike too." He had told her this before when she treed him. "I have quite a mix really, though some of it is getting pretty dilute." Sometimes he even forgot some of what he had in him genetically. It was fun to be complicated.

If he wanted a second date then he would indeed have to travel or.. "You could just ask me to join you tomorrow. I'll still be in Matori then." Of course she was slightly surprised he was even interested in a second date. "You mentioned your odd mix before. I am curious. What do you get from which parent?" She was trying to imagine the alk and could only see it in his mother. If she was the wild one then maybe that was why?

"Would you care to join me tomorrow?" He asked. He wouldn't mind the travel but if she was willing to have another one in Matori he was more than happy with that as well.
He would take all that he could get.
"Dad is half shifter, a quarter alk, and a quarter ice, he even has the antennae, which mom adores by the way. And Mom is half fire and half leaf. They balance each other rather well. Dad makes the throwing knives and mom uses them."
"What would you like to do tomorrow? We could go to an island, walk the beaches, picnic?"

"There's that courage." She teased him. "I wouldn't mind joining you tomorrow." Sarnai thought about what she would be willing to do. Going to an island was out. Mainly because she was on his territory then. And it would make her feel a bit vulnerable. So she went with a safer option. "How about a picnic on the beach?" She'd grown somewhat fond of the sea breeze. "Your dad has the alk? Seriously?" She was a bit shocked on that one. "Never would have guess by the descriptions." His dad was the calm one. "Fire and leaf huh? That's an interesting mix. I'm guessing she's where you get your skin tone from." But his hair and eyes.. She reached out to tug on his hair again, since he'd not stopped her before. "And this you get from your dad."

"I can bring food from home, you dont have to worry unless there is something you really want to bring."
A sure sign of interest of a male in a female was that he brought her gifts of food and he was going to use that to his advantage if he could.

Now she was just curious. "What skin color does your dad have?" If he was shifter, alk, and ice, he could be all sorts of colors. A thoughtful hum was given as she thought about what to bring along to the picnic. "I may bring the fermented drinks." Here she paused to offer him a wink. She could always see what he was like when he was drunk. It might be fun.

"Dad has iceling skin, none of his children managed to snag it but he doesn't have much ice in him really. Mom sure likes it." "Fermented drinks would be delightful." Nothing like cool alcohol on a hot day in his opinion, so long as there was no more work to be done and he was officially taking the day off tomorrow.
