Kite accepted the fish with a soft shy smile. "Thank you," he said quietly before taking a tentative bite of the fish. He blinked in surprised delight. "It's good!"

He glanced over at Amy concerned at her change in mood. As she walked away he frowned. "Is that normal for her?" He asked the others gathered around. Not waiting for an answer he walked over and sat next to her. "Are you ok?"

Kite sat quietly and ate his fish while gathering his thoughts. "It wasn't you who made me uncomfortable. It's ..." he paused to wave his hand at the whole area. "I don't people," he said with a shrug having no better idea how to explain it.

He continued to sit there watching everyone. He was much happier away from the thick of things.

Amy nibbled on a piece of fruit, sucking on it a little just to get some of the juice. Hm...sweet yet slightly tart. Not too bad. She had a piece of the odd purple melon in her mouth when Kite spoke up again, swallowing it down and smiling a bit when he tried to explain. Ah, so that was why. She nodded a bit in understanding. "...It's kind of overwhelming for so many to be in one spot, huh? Somehow I don't think you're the only one who feels like that."

She looked out at other people she saw who seemed a little...hesitant when it came to being with a group. The native girl and the boy she saw hiding in the tree line both seemed a little slow to be around the group. "It's funny...most of us live on the ship yet we hardly know each other.."

Bellaluna finished off her fish before looking at the leaf and deciding to pat it around her mouth like a napkin. She gently folded it into a nice compacted piece of leaf before scanning around for a trash bin, though it was a source of nature she probably assumed it would return to the ground or could be used as part of a composting soil, so instead she decided to hang onto it.

She blinked as a voice interrupted her thought process and looked at the source of where it was coming from. It was one of the adults that were present, before speaking up “Bellaluna, actually but Luna is for short” she told him before she shook her head at his question “ I have not, that is one of the things on my to do list to get acquainted with the dome and the ship” she told him politely.

"See, it's fine." Aren hummed for only Casshern to hear, before nodding to Kanja. He would let the boys get aquainted first, it wouldn't do to do everything on his childs behalf.
While he didn't mind the closeness, the kid couldn't rely on clinging to him, or his brother, forever.

"This smells really good. Did you make it?" he asked Kanja, nudging Casshern softly, encouraging him to take the offered fish.
The one time he'd been around the strange boy, he'd seemed pretty smart.

Finley watched in amazement at how easily Ghost was able to gather the right materials and start a fire. He wondered if he would be allowed to join a survival class with the others, if he asked. But now that they had a fire, they could begin cooking!

It wasn’t before Kanja reappeared with fish, and Kite. Kite had mentioned a cooking class, and this got Finley excited! “A cooking demonstration would be great!”

To Fin’s joy, Kanja obliged, and showed the group how to descale and debone the fish before they were cooked. Fin kept a close eye on Kanja’s hands, to make sure he could repeat the process if he were to try. Thank goodness someone had asked for Kanja to do it slowly, because Fin was having trouble following.

When it was finally his turn, he took his fish. “Thank you!” he said, as he looked for a place to sit down and eat. Upon finding a free spot, he took a seat and began to eat. When Kanja excused himself, Fin looked up to see the native boy take off towards another adult and younger boy. Fin couldn’t help but think they looked similar. He watched them as he continued eating. He didn’t really have a whole lot to say. He wasn’t sure what to talk about so he just kept quiet and people-watched.

Ok seriously. What was up with these names? First Padparadsha, then Amaryllis, now Bellaluna? Yeah there was no way Argent was using anyone's full name. "Luna is a really cute nickname." He said instead, but cast a glance at Ghost, curious about why everyone had such complicated names. Argent was a simple man, really.

"Well, the ship has a lot to offer, in terms of books, or if you'd like to learn how to fight or defend yourself." But she was a native. Maybe she wasn't interested in fighting. "But there's so much to explore in the dome." He glanced at Amy and Dash. "I bet they could show you some great places to explore." He gestured to them. Luna seemed to be a rather reserved girl. That was ok. The natives were all strange. Eden was fairly aggressive, Luna was demure, it seemed, and Kanja... well... Kanja was just Kanja.

He looked at Finley. "You've been pretty quiet, but the idea of cooking lessons sure perked you up. You interested in learning to cook outside? Or just cooking in general?" He was sure Ghost wouldn't mind another kid in this... survival class they apparently were going to do. "Wait, are you the one who's been using the kitchen lately?"
