When you have to lend you go to otakon with 180$ and spend every penny + 50$ loaned on the Dir en grey booth. Tsuki Warabe Borrowed my 50$ and were going to a Dir en grey concert so she wont pay back the last 20 untill after the concert because were both buying the cd so we can meet 2 of the members, she wants to make sure she has enough!

You're a fan of Dir en grey when...

~ You grab a hold of Shinya's hand, tell him he's your idol in Japanese, and not let go until he smiles, looks you in the eyes, and says "thank you".

~ You stare at Kaoru's tattoos while he holds your hand, and then you practically fall over when he speaks to you.

~ Want to hit yourself for not talking to Mr. Manager at the concert to see if you could meet the other three.

Yes...I'm guilty of all three.

anyways:
I actually have an inside joke with my friends that stemmed from Shinya (and Miyavi-sama too) but anyways one of my friends thinks Shin-chan's hot and would love to have a japanese boyfriend that crossdresses only to him off. I don't remember what his japanese name was, but she said she will call him Lisa from time to time to tease him lol and that they will both wear kimonos to their weddings. Now she periodically asks teachers whether they think Shin-chan is a guy or whenever she's at a computer.

~when your christmas list consists mainly or wholy of diru stuff
~Your friends say something behind you that sounds like Diru and you spaz out trying to talk to them about it
~when your dad begins to call you a fangirl
~when you spaz out on your friends coz they call them Dorian Gray
~when you print out many pictures of them for your binder and write japanese kanji/hiragana all over your notebooks
~when you teach your friends random things in japanese because they french/spanish (ie: watashi no ai Shinya desu! and Lisa wa doku desu ka?! [please tell me I said that right!])
~when your brother beats you as soon as you mention diru and youtube in the same sentance (yes I d him a bit too much w/ it at one point...)
~when you count how much time of class/lunch etc you have left by how many diru songs you can listen to
~send a letter to Die and Shinya via their home website and pray to god they at least say hi to you
~when you cosplay as Kyo from the Osakajo hall concert for halloween because your hair and height are the right length. (I'm 5'1 3/4" and Kyo is 5'2"...close enough!)
~when you carry around your grandmother's chihuahua beanie baby while cosplaying Shinya for halloween at school (it's Miyu darnit!)
~while cosplaying as kyo, having one of your friends come up to you and propose to you at the halloween dance (yeah...)
