╔════════❖═════════╗ Akeen Nyota ||==========Rune Mage==========|| Student ╚════════❖═════════╝ Akeen Nyota, age 19, was from the Limboni Tribe in the Plains to the far west. His tribe was known for it Divination and White Magic. His parents were bounty hunters who hunted malicious supernatural beings and his elder sister became the shaman of their village. He felt like he needed to do something with his life and make a difference in the world. Last year was when he decided to become a Wizard who enforced the laws of the land with his Rune Magic. There were a couple that he had mastered, but there was a list of spells that he needed to learn and to master and make his own. His goal was to be able to draw two runes at once and to possibly combine runes for a stronger spell. He arrived on the campus grounds with his bag slung over his shoulder. " Well, I am here. Oblivion University," he stood there in awe of the architecture. " Let us see what this next chapter of my life has in store for me," Akeen said to himself. Walking across the quad, he saw students and staff milling about.....

Seva looked a little relieved to see how the student reacted and was about to point her in the direction of the study hall when she had mentioned Lavi hiding her feelings for him. He chuckled a bit and then looked at Lavi.
Heh, Impossible. Lavi knows as well as the other teachers here that I'm not able to engage in a relationship so having feelings for me is a waste of time.
He said looking back at the student.
Not that you need to know any of that now, eh? I'm sorry you needed the study hall? It's that way.
Seva noted the newer student arriching was a male and it was much safer to talk to him.
Excuse me. I'll go help this young student. You can take it from here right Ms. Lavi
He said with a wave heading over to Akeen.

he asked getting up to him.

She saw him leave to the other student and took a deep breath. She then looked back at Mercy.

She looked over to him for help but he was with a different student.
Take a deep breath. She is the student not you. Pull your inner mom out. Low authoritative voice.
She took a deep breath before continuing in a more teacher like tone.
Miss Mercy that is no way to talk to anyone especially a staff member. You need to control what you say whether it's true are not. It's rude and could cause you trouble fitting in here. As it is my job to help you integrate into the school and find your path my suggestion is hold your tongue.
She changed her tone back to normal cheeriness.
Isn't that a potions ingredient? The food here is quite normal like apples and carrots and whatnot. we have a wide variety of food in the mess hall.

"I was human once,now i am a monster." Koga stepped off the transport with other students,and thanks to an order messing up he got a shirt to smell for him but it was all he had to wear so instead of fighting it he turned it into an open front shirt he didn't care what people thought of him after all he wasn't here to impress people only to learn. After a few steps off the transport he stepped to the side and put his bag down and started to remove the wrappings around his left arm,after all now that he was here he didn't need to keep it hidden and after a sigh he once more picked up his bag and starts walking. Koga noticed some staff and students so he decided to make his way over and spoke his voice a little louder then it seemed to him. " Hey pinky you are a staff here right,where can i find the mess hall i am starving that damn trip took to long could you help a poor boy out." He says with a smile and a laugh as he drops the bag he was holding next to him that hits the ground much harder then a fabric bag should.

In a physical altercation, Akeen would lose. With a smile, Akeen greeted the man, "It is a pleasure to meet to, Sir," he said. "I am Akeen, and I was wondering where I can find my dorm. I am in Room 108. I believe it is a the Guys Dormitory," he said as he read a piece of paper that he took from the outer pocket of his bag. "After I get settled in, I would like to visit the library. Getting started right away is my goal," he said with a nod of his head.

I mean my lord, I've spoken to the spirits of Erik the Red, Cesar, and Teddy Roosevelt, people with massive standings in the world at their time, and they just spoke like equals, not asking for this and that on the first impression. He looked at the others and saw there were some intense words being exchanged between one of the students and an adult who seemed to be on the more skittish side. How was that possible, unless the adult did not assert herself from the start. She was likely not the type to do so. Akeen followed the man to his dorm.

She turned to Mercy who got in her face. Listening to the girl being condesending was making her mad.
Sweetie you judge my politics without knowing them and assume I have a superiority complex when all I asked is you keep your deductions to yourself. To respect everyone's privacy. Isn't narcissistic of you to think you are above everyone. Cool you're powerful but you're cockiness is going to get you killed. Cool you hung out with dead humans that are famous. What about Elizabeth Booth who was a human responsible for magic people and people she deemed magical deaths or Circe or someone that could help grow your talents. Instead you pick famous men that have no idea people like you existed in their time. What could you learn from them that you couldn't have learned from a book.

Koga watched as the ladies went at one another and tried to hold in his laughter but ended up chucking slightly before picking up his bag and looks at the other student and grins. You say wizards have a superiority complex yet you try throwing around your power and accomplishments and try to belittle some one who you know nothing about,myself included look up the word hypocrite. He says before looking over at Lavi and gives a grin and holds out his left hand. "Will Miss Lavi,my name is Koga Cinder nice to meet ya." He adds with a grin.

Now I'm plenty humble when speaking to someone on equal terms or someone who is objectively superior, people who have made their mark on history, like my father or the spirits of people I actually did learn from. Now, before we adjourn to the mess hall.." Mercy turned her attention to the boy that addressed himself as Koga and smirked "Sonny you must have been raised by dogs judging by your smell and the profound lack of an ability to extrapolate information" she stifled a giggle with her hand "Like, at any point did I imply I was better than her or anyone else?
