Aurtrox had left early, for once in is lifetime, to head to a council meeting, only to be distracted by a new vegetable stand along the street. "No! It can't be..." Aurtrox said to himself with wide eyes. The vendor handed him a free sample of a pink pepper. He quickly devoured the pepper. It's juicy goodness causing his eyes to dilate with pure succulent joy. That is when he sensed Aurelia approaching. "Aurelie! Come try these peppers, they are amazing!"
He bought three whole bags of the rare pink peppers not knowing when he would see them next. He made sure to memorize the face of the vendor and the business name. He would be back, and with a trailer to buy the man out.
Aurelia practically dragged him through the carnival. He hadn't had time to enjoy the festivities. Well, the truth was he was so absorbed in his work he hadn't realized festivities were even going on. He must have been told and thought the information was useless and forgot, but he wished he hadn't since it was simply splendid. His boredom soon turned to trying to make Aurelia try one of the delicious peppers. "I swear, it is the most delicious thing you will ever taste! Full of nutritious vitamins! It is so insanely sweet, and just look at that color!" Aurtrox practically had hearts in his eyes as he coddled the bags of peppers to his chest. All except for the one he had picked out just for Aurelia and dangled in front of her face tauntingly. Though she seemingly had no interest in it.
Eventually he managed to make her promise to try one if he just calmed down. Which was an exceptionally hard promise to make for the ave, but he did and the car ride was swift.
He was too distracted to notice the fact that they were not disarmed upon entrance to the Sanctuary. As they approached the meeting room Aurtrox frowned. She had not followed through with her side of the bargain and he needed to see someone else enjoy the pink pepper as much as he did! He was obsessed! He would block her path and force it, which she pleasantly acquiesced.
"Aren't they so amazingly sweet?!" he had to beg to get her reaction, but then he saw her make a strange face. "Oh no, are you choking?" but then she exploded. "Wait- What?! They are sweet though!" Then it dawned on him. He was an avian faunus, peppers had no spice to him. His eyes grew wide, he looked at the bag and it said: '750,000-950,000 Scoeville.' Was that hot? It had a picture of no less than nine peppers behind it. That was not a good sign.
Aurtrox looked up at Aurelia, realizing what he had done. The he saw her narrow her eyes. "Oh no... Please don't-" But she did. She sent the pain through their telepathic connection and he felt his tongue and throat and everything suddenly burst into flame. "AHHHHHHGGG" He let out as his hands flew to his throat and mouth. In the fit he toppled over, pushing Aurelia into the door which flung open as they fell to the floor in agony.
In full view of the council.

Alfred had not missed the look given in return by Miss Requestrian's guard, though he did not give it much attention or significance. Alfred cared little if the man had noticed truthfully. Annamoretta was much more restrained than her guard though, and even polite to him. It seems they were in agreement in regards to the current state of affairs; neither of them had were pleased with this sudden meeting and the absence of the caller, with both hoping there was a good reason for it in the first place. She would also mention the others in the room, and apologize to Cedric for dealing with Agatane. Almost as if on cue, Agatane would also greet him and echo that he knew not what was to be said this meeting. He would also ask in regards to Alfred's spouse and seemed to have some hope for tomorrow. 'The epitome of passion and emotion,' Alfred thought silent in regards to him. He was fortunate to not have the mans flirtation for the time being at least, and hopefully not at any point. "She is doing well, thank you. Just resting now for the eve. It seems we are all in the dark as to the nature of this," Alfred would answer the man but would not ask about any suitors. He knew all too well Agatane's style of romance and that such a question did not hold the longevity his own married status did. He had also received his answers, for the most part, on anyone having knowledge as to what was occurring. They were all left in the dark. Shortly thereafter, Matilda would enter the room. Greeting them all and say she hoped she was not late. After she mentioned that she hoped she was not late, and after the shared look between her and Alfred as she said it was good to see him, he would nod in return with equal friendliness and respect. "Hardly late at all. Our host is yet to join us," he would comment to let her know she was on time still. As she sat, however, it was clear the animosity between and Annamoreta had not resolved as Matilda commented on decorum. As Annamoretta rose to the comment, Alfred merely remained silent and observed; he knew not to interfere in the affairs of women.
He vaguely listened in on it, but wanted to retain plausible deniability if he was called upon to say anything. Mr. Lorenzia, however, had no such qualms; already almost swooning for Matilda and telling her to ignore the comments of Annamoretta. Thankfully, Cedric did his job well in preventing the councilman from speaking too much further. During this exchange, they would have another visitor that almost seemed to have snuck in during the verbal exchange; the ever reclusive Sienna Graves. Appearing in holographic form, she would comment on not being late and seemed to be more focused on what she was doing where she was currently than the present. 'I wish I had brought something to entertain myself as well,' he thought as he awaited for something more significant to occur. If Sebastian did not arrive soon, he would be retiring for the eve. Thankfully, for his sake, Sebastian showed up. Though this only spurred Agatane into verbally throwing himself to the Hydra at seeing the absence of Aurelia. Thankfully, Cedric again silenced his charge. 'That guard deserves a raise,' he thought to himself quietly. Sebastian's entrance was not subtle in the slightest; he had yelled typical idiots as he walked into the room. He would comment that he was not sure if those manning the door did their jobs, but that they should all have their weapons. And that from now on, such a practice should continue outside of emergency meetings as well. 'Curious, but I won't object for now. With the freedom to have guards present it only makes sense. Though what makes him believe he has the authority to change it now...' he thought to himself, though remained quiet for now. Alfred doubted that was the purpose of this meeting.
As he settled in, he would set up some information but was yet to speak. Alfred focused in on it. He recognized the faces of two council members that had passed, along with a few others. Purge night being named for the majority but a few different parties in the case of Virulent. He wondered why this was being brought up now given when the events had occurred. Well, he assumed at least this was to be brought up even if Sebastian had yet to officially present it. Sebastian would speak up that they were waiting for a few more members to show up, and that Aidou would not be attending due to going to Menagerie. 'I wonder how they are faring,' he thought absently to himself. The suspension for Eteria was no surprise; after the purge, and the lack of results in finding those responsible afterwards, public opinion of her had drained entirely. It clarified why Sebastian wanted to change the rules and felt he could though; all that was left to see was how well he could fill the role now that it was being watched. Sebastian would apologize for the short notice and finally seat himself, clarifying that once the meeting itself occurred only council members would remain inside. This was a curious development; it was not often the guards would be left out. He also seemed to have bee...rather busy by his looks. Or he just woke up recently, but even then there was enough wear on the man to tell sleep was not a luxury he was afforded. Annamoretta would break the brief silence once the guards left the room, asking if someone died or were about to along with asking how long will this meeting be as she had a meeting in the morning. Sebastian loading his smoldering gun was noticed. "I am curious on why the dead are being put up and the sudden change in policy, though I understand the preference to say things only once. If they do not arrive soon, however, it is on them for missing this meeting and we should go on without them," he would comment on the state of things and his own opinion; briefly noting his observations. If others were tardy, the exception should not be made for them. It was then he would hear the shriek of Aurelia outside the council doors. Very shortly after, Aurtrox would scream too and they would tumble through the door. Alfred gave the duo a curious look, eyebrows raised. "We are glad you two could finally make it. Though it is the middle of the night...so can you two please desist in screaming?" he would welcome and ask of them, before looking to Matilda briefly. A silent look of questioning the youth of this age before looking back to those two on the floor. He was also curious how Sebastian would react to his wife being under Aurtrox right now.
Aggy's response, Jovian did not know what to make of it. A slight pause would occur before he chuckled a little. Aggy was always a weird one. “Whatever it may be . I hope that at least it is important. I have no doubt something drastic had to happen. Unnecessary contact and communication never been one's style in this room” Jovian commented before looking over at Rosemary. “It's okay darling you can say hi..... Rosemary wishes you all a good evening as well. I am sorry she is acting so shy. I guess it the nerves of getting to meet you all for the first time. She has heard so much about you all!!!” His explanation would slip from his lips as he stroked Rosemary's hair making sure that it was nice and neat. “Do not worry you look fine. No need worry about your dress. Alfred just a nice dresser. You still look stunning honey” He commented before losing a little patient. “Calm down now~” He warned in a sweet but sterner voice as if he was talking to a child. A few moments would pass before Matilda showed up. And Matilda showed out. It seem she had it out for all the younger people in the group. Maybe that how one gets knowing their death is only around the corner. But it was passing comment so maybe it wasn't so bad. He did not take it too personally but someone seemed to. Be on edge and instead of firing shots at the person causing the issue or being mean, shots were fired towards Jovian. Hearing the comments, Jovian smirked back at the council woman.
“My my my misses Claws. Do not equate my dear wife to such low standards but I guess that something to expect from someone with no wedding wing. But hey, I guess I wasn't the only one with my toy out tonight? Your little Kitten on edge? Must of got the meeting call before he can “feel the love tonight” he swung back. He would not back down from the nasty lady!. Especially one that insults his wife! The toxicness was continuing though. It seemed that Anna was on the attack and she was not missing her targets when it came to throwing shade. The back and forth between her and Matilda was definitely something. While she agreed with the point towards Matilda, he was not going to let it be known that he supported her. Instead he just covered rosemary's eyes. Fortunately the guest of honor would arrive and break up some of this tension! The woman's focus shifted and he listened. He wanted to know what was going on as well. Did someone die? The faces on the screen, were people already dead. So what was the difference? Has there been an update? The Hydra requested security to be outside but he did not move Rosemary at first, but he eventually would move her. The puppet would move on its on, going outside and walking on its own. At least it appeared to be. However, his aura manipulation was at work.
As she left, a new group would arrive. Looking at the two late people, Jovian always wondered how anyone could stand to be around Aurtrox. Well, no not in the since like Virulent's caution. More of having your significant other around another man almost 24/7. Though, Jovian knew hew as a jealous type. Rosemary was as well. Looking at the two on the floor, he could not help though but agree with Alfred. “Hurry to your seats. I wanna know what this is about! The flames are so close but yet you leave us waiting to be able to fully feel the warmth of the good or bad news~!”

. . . .
Matilda Datura Hayes Council Member / Minister of Agriculture . . .
Even as Councilwoman Des Requestrian tried to goad Ms. Hays, her composure remained the same as the impudent wretch had her tirade of insults. Her hands were politely folded on the tabletop. Like a patient parent waiting out a toddler's tantrum. Something she had lots of practice with. She would silently note that even Councilman Flae would comment, but he was not important to note for much else, so her gaze never left the young councilwoman. For even as the lowly Nouveau riche tried to smirk and reel her in, Anna would have to be disappointed to see she was not phased in the least. Despite Councilman Von Lorenzia's interjection, she ignored it; though made note later to talk to him about interruptions."If you're done being a child, Adults have work to do,"the matriarch replied with cool, calm collectiveness. Cedric, was again a godsend.
Her attention turned to Sienna who entered via hologram; distracted as always, but at least had as much intellect as Alfred and herself, if not more."Good to see you made it, Councilwoman,"She addressed/greeted with sincere politeness."What is she working on now,"She thought, curious but, would ask on a later date. They had more important matters to attend. Seeing a late Sebastian, the councilwoman would frown but, nod in silent greeting. Professionalism back into play, she would straighten her already perfect posture and turn attentions towards the one responsible for this meeting. It seemed their evening was just beginning...
At least until there was more than a little distraction from the doors; it was impossible to ignore anymore. In fell her granddaughter and the headmaster of Beacon. Sharp honey-brown eyes would turn to the two, clearly in disapproval for their behavior. Jovian was less eloquent than herself when he addressed them."Glad you could make it,"She greeted after his words, though there was a bit of danger under-toning that calm; something that was rare for her. Once they were done with their foolishness and the extras were gone, Councilwoman Hayes' eyes and head turned to Councilman Hydra once more."Please continue,"Her look said to him once all were settled. If there were no more interruptions; she hoped the night would not be very long. .

SEBASTIAN HYDRA/ Shadow Minister of Defense-¨Im just a real sicko when you get to know me. It why I am a Hydra ¨
The inspection of his gun would continue as the rest showed up. Unfortunately, he knew his presence was going to be met with some criticisms. Some, he knew was going to have something to say no matter what. A typical day when you are under the Hayes umbrella. Something not mentioned during the exchanging of vows. (Not like he would or could blame her). He wondered who exactly to answer first or to address them all at the same time. Not one of them was of more importance than the other. He decided to stay quiet for now and take in the scene. The questions thrown at him were of similar interest. Especially the question of WHY they were here. ¨I will try make sure you get enough beauty rest ,¨ he stated simply,¨As for your first question. Both really is the best answer" Looking at the hologram, it seemed Sienna was not going to be physically there. Suspicious, but not something uncommon. If his guard was not up he would think nothing of it. Aggy would end up taking his mind off the situation when asking about Aurelia. Annoyance quickly came over as he knew she was playing baby sitter to Aurtrox but the last bit about volunteering to take her place put Sebastian in the 5 stages of shame. Taken back at first, he was surprised (for some reason) by the statement before covering his face. A shocked blush taking over as he couldn´t believe such a proposition. In front of his in law!?! Maybe it was the fact that he was more than expecting for Aggy to go through on such a statement. Just look at his track record of his...conquests...Just filthy. .
His saviors would arrive. There would be the two finally joining in on the festivities. Sebastian could only shake his head at the foolishness as he looked down at the two of them. He had to agree with the old man. Far as Aurtrox being under his wife there was many range of emotions that could of been produced but sympathy was the dominant one. She was going to get him back, he had not to worry. As for anything of the scandalous nature, he would be more surprised if Aurtrox could actually handle such actions and not pass out at the sight of nature´s reproductive procedures. Unfortunately, time was not on their side. ¨You are correct, I wanna make this quick and easy as possible. I will start with the light stuff. I believe with the way procedure is handled. With absence of our Head of Council and with the suspension of Etaria it is written in bylaws that the power of Head Councilman shall be split between the ministry of defense and ministry of education. Which would result in myself and..Aurtrox sharing power. Though, Mrs. Hayes and Sanguis do correct me if I am mistaken. ¨ He added before clicking a button. All the deceased were now on one side and a display picture of the current dust reserves were shown. The supply, or lack there of, showing that something must of occurred. ¨Thank you everyone for joining me. I going to make this quick. Any details you can read about in a printed out version of the whole report or simply just ask. As you see above...or most of you can see,¨ [/b]he started before staring a hole at the two to make sure Aurelia and Aurtrox took a seat. ¨These are the pictures of the people that died. Virulent unfortunately is excluded in what I am worried about. Night Stalkers is none of my business.¨ He explained before Virulent picture went away.
¨After some research, a huge chunk of deaths on this list is theorized to occur from the same time period. We do not know who the killers. We do know there are multiple killers and that during the duration the time period was being called the purge. A prize on the line for the person with the highest body count. Sadly interrogations could not produce anymore information and the snitch that we did have took his life. This purge and pairing this with the Yatomura incident, it hard to take these all as just random. I believe certain members were targeted on purpose and I cannot help that this pattern may continue. It hard to pinpoint whether it some organization being strategic for power, fiends that just want pure chaos, or desperate citizens trying to earn a quick buck given the economic crisis. The two with the question mark, it shows report that a grim attack killed them (Agent and Ester) but the experience they shared, even if one of them was no more stronger than your average citizen, the grim should of been repelled back. Still, everything still under investigation. I just want you all to be careful and trust no one. Any of us could be the next target. In fact, any of us could of been the killer. With the upcoming trip to Atlas, we cannot have it fail so military presence will be lacking in Vale. Furthermore dust will be limited as well. Our dust reserves took a major hit. Evidence of two groups were discovered at the seen, the Tribe and SxS bandits. Either way, the remaining supply be mostly used for Atlas to make sure we have enough resources to regain the kingdom. That means dust is going to be tight until Atlas is claimed. Aurtrox I hope you make sure your students adapt to the change. Aggy and Anna I am sure you can make sure things are smoothed over with this dust situation with the media and with the workforce. As for Etaria, Due to her negligence and the severity of the situation, she be indefinitely suspended. Not saying she is guilty or had anything to do with it, but.....you can fill in the blanks.¨ He would let the situation simmer. He said a lot and he made some accusations that he was sure was going to ruffle some feathers. He was not even going to mention absent bird from the flock.
*_*Annamoretta Des Requestrian*_* -Vale Councilwoman of Culture/Caracat Faunus Accompanied by: Hávarðr Rothschild ~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~
Ha!!!!! The puppet man!!! The audacity of his earlier introduction may as well been torn up like paper, and put in the wood shredder that his puppet also needed to be put into. Oh riiight, that was something... Ooops... "Someone" he was fonding over in a... Yeah... Definitely creepy way. It was why, when Jovian began pulling his own claws and provocations back out to her, she couldn't help but throw her head back and laugh."My my~! For someone who had earlier said he heard all about us, you certainly haven't heard I am actually a widow. The lack of information on knowing something that was basic common knowledge to begin with, only shows that perhaps Pinocchio over there has your mind as wooden as she." Faking back a sniffle, she avoided answering upon his more inappropriate line of questioning, as quite frankly, if that was the best he could throw back at her, he had a very long way to go. Weeellll... she avoided majority of it all. One thing she was unable to help but snicker about. "What I put inside me, it's at least the real thing, compared to whatever that walking block of wood, with what looks like last years fashion. Do be a dear, and remember this is the adults table. At least I can adorn the maturity as such."Or could she? Anyone could easily tell her that she was no better than anyone else, but Anna was.... Anna. The spiteful vanity she carried was outrageous at times like this. Could have been from the interrupted sleep. Could have been from her having to spend her evening around people. Most likely, it was both. Some of it was worth it though.
Matilda made no reactions to her words, but rather it insult or disappoint her on nothing seeping through, towards Matilda's returning comment, she had simply returned her words with a beguiling smile, tracing her middle finger along her jawline in a one swipe motion. "Tell that to the other fools. Seeing the excuse s we got, I truly must reach and extend a more respectful hand to Mr. Sanguis in the room. If only the more incompetents' could learn off of you. Since we are missing quite a few, they must believe this an optional, more arrive when they feel like it occasion."By those, she was referring to the missing wife of the host, and the academy principal who she had believed was placed in that position by a lost bet. That had to be it. Had she known it to be an arrive whenever you feel like it occasion, she would have chosen to arrive hours late on purpose to near the end of the meeting. Though speaking on the said host for the occasion, why was he bringing up this... Purge night... "I realize on asking about death, but to actually have received deathly news on the matter...Was she scared? Nope! She was more so amused than anything else. As for the news on Eteria being excommunicated from duty, there was a whole reaction of contempt to that answer, given the state of how much maniacal behavior was more of a thing she could adjust to. Why couldn't some of the ones in this room have joined there? Truly a shame. The first one could have been the puppet as a volunteer, with Lorenzia, followed by Matilda in the line. Sebastian was about to be the next mentally put up there, if he was really going to allow himself to sink down towards the levels the Von lortrashia of perversion was throwing at him. Not so much as the comments itself to it, but more the facial expression of red upon their handsome face, all because of the whelp being too much as per usual. Why was it such a surprise. Regardless, it was more juvenile than her lingo choice of words just moments beforehand. The contempt itself did not last when Aurelia and Aurtrox were coming in like a bunch of unprofessional children having been late for class. All the loudness in itself was enough to actually drive her contempt edge into a full on vibe of anger. "It's so late at night, and resulting to still yell over trivial things is the answer to all our problems?"Cursing and hissing under her breath, their voices alone were loud enough for her to be covering her ears in anger. Alfred had beat her to the chase upon commendation, full heartedly agreeing with his choice of words. "All too true. some of us have sensitive hearing in these hallowed halls on top of things. There is no need for all of the unprompted shouting." Too little to say, or too late to be saying and adding in upon Alfred's words towards the two latecomers, Anna was just glad to have been able to finally proceed more into the meeting itself. death, death, deaaaaaath. How nice of him to be showing them all concern in case they were targets next. This only just proved that perhaps their plus ones could have been around closer to them than they had the privulage to. None of that compared to the next bit of news however regarding dust being limited due to Atlas and it's attempted re-openings. Her name was brought up among it all, with detail on media coverage on this. Understandable, given the very idea could cause a riot to occur, as dust was a vital source of life aside from possessing an aura."I dare say that limiting the dust factorings because of this reclaiming the land brigade is outright a contradictory on what could happen with the shortage issue that have been stretching up enough already for the sake of the academy itself. I'll have no issue reporting the news, but I require paper that has the proper back up of information for myself to work along it's lines."That much she could say out loud, but to herself, she was utterly enjoying the idea of limited dust, as... Ahahahaaha.... Such a situation could lead to a silver lining of what she wanted most, to truly feel entertained in any way there could be... Through disorder, chaos, Through a shortage, desperation. Oh my~ Wasn't that just a lovely image~?
"Ahh.... Woah is me... I hit on a looker, and cannot see the looker's reaction..." The curse of blindness from one's semblance. A very tedious drawback that could make one certainly grovel at best. Relying on sound was a pain. Some perks of it could give him the free range to let his creative side kick him, and give him a world of imagination. One such topic was the odd, unnecessary amount of words being thrown between Jovian and Annamoretta. Just listening to them going at it was hilarious in itself. Weren't they both needing company? The way they were going, they may as well have brought themselves out of the room to sort their problems out, rather than acting up in front of them! They were only proving Matilda's earlier point! Well, not that he himself was about to put himself in that same category. Who exactly was being called out as incompetent!? Him? Nahhhhh... Couldn't be him. Well, as if he was about to believe he was in that category in any point of time. He was simply but a bachelor, who gave to the public more than he could account for others to have the same thought on. "My my~! Aren't we all just the humorous bunch. Maybe we should all arrive to these things with sleep deprivation more~!!!" Sliding his sunglasses off his face to clean them, Aggy had kept his eyes closed, more so grinning towards the other party in the room at this point. Aurelia and Autrox had finally arrived, yelling in the hall... About peppers??? The scientist lady whose name constantly left him was sounding to be present as well. It was because her lack of actually being there. There was a few times in other meetings he had offered to go "visit" if she felt lonely, but there was a day he had to hear a come over from her. As for Matilda and Alfred, both were the more silent of the room as per usual, but with Matilda speaking on Anna's behavior, she was still confirmed to be there. Even as Cedric had left the room, there wasn't much trouble the man could still cause... Right? It left him wide open to flirt more and parade in on the conversation, to even go as far as filling Matilda with sweet words of passion regardless. Maybe someone should let Cedric stay in the room after all!?!?!? As he slid his glasses back on, he made a silent laugh to himself on that thought.
Matilda would safe from his banter of flirtations for now, just as his attention had focused to Sebastian, awaiting to hear any answers regarding his earlier offer to play wifey. The arrival of Aurelia and Autrox soon after though had disrupted. So much for him to be able to be Sebastian's wife until arrival. How was he taking that amount of words flown by the bachelor though?? "Someone please tell me he's up for it!!! I need ENTERTAINMENT!" He didn't exactly hear a "no." Could he have been up for it!? Now he would never know. Aurelia and Autrox's full on arrival w2as certainly a loud one, enough to disrupt the nobleman and his flirtations. "You two alright over there!? Need a sandwich to be completed!!! I volunteer to be the top!!! Someone take my hand and lead me to them!!!! Anyone?? No??? Ah, shucks..... This is why no one can have nice things!!!!!" Unable to get up himself and help them to their feet, Aggy was forced to remain sitting where he was. Good timing as it was, considering they did have a meeting to begin as it was. He preferred listening to Sebastian talk as it was, and those two certain had to take time to settle themselves and be prepared for what was about to be in store. For what Sebastian was to show, his good, composed nature had crashed, as he had presented the faces of those who had passed away. Aggy was unable to see any of them, but the sound of Virulent's name hit him hard in the gut. WHAT!? What had he just heard!? Virulent dead!?!?!? HOW? Now, he was pissed. Sullenly mad that this was happening at all. As Sebastian had more to it at least, and it was a shame he wasn't sure as to who had done the killing at all. "I ever find them, my cane will be having a field day..." The fact that the theory was all of these dead being purposeful targets, that much disturbed him a little. The fact they were all being told as well to be on the lookout after their own tails as well, there was certainly more information out there somewhere. All this death around a few areas of people like this had to entail something else. Just what was it that made people want to kill in the first place? Such a naïve question, but it was a question regardless. Just when it had looked to be the end of bad news, there was more that had come along to it next. A dust shortage had been brought into play among the topics, which Aggy wasn't sure how to take at first. Almost about to react to it with some commentary, in regards to how sane anyone was being anymore. to hear it was due to the retrieval of Atlas taking it into effect, there was nothing that could be worded to it, as it made sense. They needed it more. Ridiculous it was, for other reasons such as the ones brought to attention that had caused it as well. This was certainly getting out of hand, this day and age. Why couldn't it be like the older days, when the whole spiel on love being the strongest thing was the way to deal with these situations? Regardless, he was called upon for making sure to have things be properly smoothed over in the workforce side of things. "But of course my Cerulean blue boy of the council. You can entrust the task on work force relations to ME~!" Yes, he could! He really could! That would have to be something to get accomplished first thing in the morning! A game plan scenario to go over before proceeding to the more straight approaches. In regards to Eteria, it will be a shame to have one less beauty in the room to compliment on. Ah well, may she have future endeavors of a more wonderous degree.

┏━━━━━━━━━━━┓ Dr. Sienna Graves ┗━━━━━━━━━━━┛ Minister of Research & Development
Sienna seemed to ignore the commotion happening around her. Her pen didn't stop moving as council members bickered and she even seemed oblivious to the shouting outside followed by Aurelia and Aurtrox crashing through the door. "You'll want some dairy. 2% milk or higher fat content. The Casein will break down the capsaicin." She commented once the pair sat down. Apparently, she had been listening to the argument despite appearing totally oblivious to her surroundings.
At the mention of the dust stores, Dr. Graves's pen stopped moving and she looked up at the screen for the first time. All of the work they had they had done to increase dust efficiencies around Vale to avoid major impacts of the shortages only for the military to fail to protect the stores. How much lab capacity would she lose? One holographic page was traded for another and her scribbling resumed, much more furiously than previously.
"We'll need to reduce the huntsmen and Beacon students ration to 3 small dust and one large crystal per person. Beyond the student's dust ration, Beacon will need to reduce dust consumption by 10% Arena functions should be shut down." This was not the first time Sienna had argued for shutting down the arena. Those great mechanical moving pieces and the forcefield protecting the audience were not easy on dust stores. She had lost the previous discussions due to the morale the arena shows provided. "A 10% reduction of dust in the agriculture sector. Food is non-negotiable, but at least halving the floodlights and further reducing the less efficient crops....more nighttime patrols will be needed..." Grimm weren't more active at night, but they were much harder to spot making the nights more dangerous. "Perhaps some kind of compound can be made to replace fruits...another 10% for healthcare.....perhaps some wings can do without power for a few hours every day... those with low outcomes might need to be denied services or an increase in wait times.... Reduce the dust going to entertainment by 25%... Ration each household to 10kWh a day and commercial businesses to an average of 50kWh each day.... reducing public transit by 10%...will buy us 18 months to find a new dust source." A tap on her scroll and her page was projected behind her. Her penmanship was oddly neat, a stark contrast to her often dishevelled appearance. That being said, what was being projected behind her was a mess of symbols, letters and numbers only someone who was well versed in calculus would be able to make heads or tails of.

┏━━━━━━━━┓ Aurelia Hayes ┗━━━━━━━━┛ ✬Deputy Head Mistress of Beacon Academy✬ Shadow Education Minister✬
Aurelia made a valiant attempt to dodge Aurtrox's flailing. She would have been successful if not for her poor balance. The connection broke as Aurtrox shoved Aurelia through the door. s**t. At least the spiciness of the hot pepper had already turned her face a bright shade of red, covering up the fact that she was blushing furiously. Worse than the burning pain was her grandmother looking down at her with disappointment. 'Get off me!' she thought at Aurtrox. She arranged her features to be neutral, as if she wasn't totally mortified, and did her best to get up as gracefully as possible. Stiff backed, and head held high, Aurelia walked over to her chair in a manner reminiscent of a cat who had fallen out of a tree and was trying to pretend they did it on purpose.
Casein? Capsaicin? Aurelia had no idea what either of those things were, but she was fairly fond of dairy. The question was how to discreatly obtain some before the end of the meeting. Suffering in silence, Aurelia studied the screen while her husband spoke. If the mind link broke Aurtrox would still be aware of her pain, he just didn't feel it as if it was his own anymore. Oh good. Aurtrox and Sebastian working as co-heads of the council. Surely this wouldn't result in a massive headache for her. That seemed to be the least of the problems as Sebastian talked about their already limited dust stores getting robbed and more or less confirming what most of them had suspected. The killings had to be related. She listen to Dr. Graves rattle off a bunch of numbers. 18 months to get more dust. "It seems we are being squeezed on all sides. We could have the students aid in patrols, but they are only students. What of the Huntsman guild?" Half dust rations and a 10% cut to energy use? Clearly Sienna had never had to get a teenager to remember to turn off the light in their room.

Aurtrox swiftly hopped right up and brushed his robes of any possible dust that may have gotten on them. Noting the first person to speak to them was Alfred, and then Matilda who asked for them to stop screaming. Jovian would echo that same sentiment. Eager to get the meeting started. Easy enough for him, but Aurelia was feeling the lasting burn. At least the pain projection had fallen off with the chaos of the fall which gave Aurtrox time to bow to those in the room as was his standard greeting. Agatane, or Aggy, would offer to join them which would be a light-hearted transition. Lastly, Dr. Graves would offer Aurelia some milk, very kind of her. Which would be a relief for Aurtrox cause he did not put it past Aurelia to send him random projections of her pain through the meeting.
Aurtrox didn't mind the odd looks. He was used to it. When was he not unconventional? These were odd times afterall. That is why his methods were undeniably successful. Albeit, questionable on safety standards. "Apologies for being late." Aurtrox said as he often did, but all who knew him knew that he could not have given less of a damn. These meetings were almost always wasteful to him. He ignored most, but did give Sebastion a kind nod. While others suspected something was between Aurelia and Aurtrox he knew that Sebastion knew this was not the case. Aurtrox had no such sexual interests. Not in anyone or anything. Sebastion quickly started the meeting.
First things first, it seemed that standard procedure was that he and Sebastion would share the seat of acting head of council. Which everyone in the room secretly knew that meant Sebastion would do all of the day to day duties only to consult Aurtrox with important matters. Furthermore it meant that Sebastion and Aurelia were now the most powerful couple in Vale. As Aurelia would manage many of the duties that Aurtrox deemed unworthy which was many. Aurtrox would lounge back in his chair with narrowed eyes. The most concerning thing was he would have to take charge regardless and Aurelia and Sebastion would both be heading to Atlas soon to manage things over there. Eventually Aurelia would come back and the plan was for him to take her place, but then it left the whole of the council under Aurelia's charge. She would do well he surmised, but it won't be liked by the rest of the council who would wish to take her place as she is merely a second in command. Aurtrox would listen patiently to everyone before he would say anything.
"First off, I agree with Dr. Graves on dust reduction. Secondly, I believe it is about time we start sending some to explore the southern region of Vale. We do have old dust mines that are not quite in Vacuo, but on the edge. If we could reopen one of those it would be alleviate our current dust problems until the Atlas reclamation is complete." Some might notice that Aurtrox skipped over the recent killings and criminal activity. He simply didn't feel it was worth commenting on when those in charge of the investigations had no real information to provide them with. He already had more info then what was displayed here through his connections. Pitiful.
"Beyond the dust shortages, is there any other reason for this meeting that we can make a meaningful change to? The criminal investigations are unfruitful, so what else do we need to cover? If nothing. Let's end early." This was how most meetings went. Aurtrox calling for it to be ended as soon as he felt the issue was solved. He had far more important matters to get too. Training the next generation of soldiers and huntsman was paramount to Vale's survival.

Alfred was quietly contemplating the back and forth between his fellow council members before the meeting took place. While he remembered his hot-headedness in his youth and how strongly he wanted his opinion to be right, he knew now with age it was a pointless endeavor. And the less drama you involved yourself in the better it was for your health; mentally speaking at least. So as a few of them bickered and insulted back and forth, he merely listened passively for when his name would be brought up; more so focused on the possibilities for the meeting itself and of his own responsibilities. He would merely nod his head to Anna and a polite smile when Jovian and his...wife...commented on his attire. 'The standards of he council are dropping, though even they have not slipped as much as with Aurtrox,' he thought to himself quietly. While the latter was not as vulgar and didn't engage as much in the verbal bickering usually, he acted as if he was forced into the role rather than had assumed it to help the people. That, combined with his shady connections and dealings, left him close to the bottom of the list to Alfred. Once he finally burst in, tumbling with Aurelia the one saving grace of the academy, Alfred could not help but feel his current placing re-affirmed. Everyone would also seem to be in agreement with him that their screaming and lying on the floor was not being tolerated, especially as they were the last ones to arrive at the meeting. His apology was also fairly lacking to Alfred; he already knew the man was only here because he was forced to be. Thankfully, with him finally present, the meeting could begin in earnest now.
Sebastian would say they would begin with the light stuff; stating that, with Aidou absent and Eteria suspended, it would be himself and Aurtrox as the acting heads of the council. Alfred would pinch the bridge of his nose at that news when Sebastian asked if he was mistaken. He could tell by his voice he did not like the idea either. "You are not mistaken; those are the rules," Alfred would agree, though he was clearly displeased by the news. Sebastian he was more or less fine with assuming the power, it was Aurtrox he distrusted the most. 'Not that the man will even attempt the role with his nature,' he thought to himself. With that completed, Alfred wondering how bad the meeting would be as it was considered a light matter, the screen would move to show dust reserves now. Intrigued, Alfred would focus on the readings to interpret them as Sebastian spoke. Even though he was not in charge of such resources, even he could see how pitiful the stores were for them. Sebastian would keep things brief, and if needed they can read the full version printed out or just ask for more details. 'Lateness aside, he is doing well so far,' Alfred noted to himself. He would mentioned Virulent was excluded from what he would say just cause it was night stalker business. While curious on that group, Alfred would remain silent for now as he wanted to get the whole report first and prioritize that way. Sebastian would give new information that the death of the rest all happened roughly the same time on an event known as the purge; someone apparently organized a contest to kill people and reward the killers off of it. 'Disgusting.' Alfred thought to himself. Sebastian would continue to mention that besides two outliers, it seems council members could be targets. That a council member could have even been behind this. It was a disconcerting thought, but the position certainly carried such a risk. It being a mystery of who was pulling the strings would need to be solved quickly before more deaths occurred, though that was out of his hands. A bit of distressing news was that, because of such events, the military was going to be even more invested in Atlas. Alfred had a disturbed realization though with this. 'We shall be even more vulnerable if they were daring enough to do so when our full military and dust support was here,' he thought to himself. He kept silent for now though.
Anna would voice that expending more dust is only serving to worsen their case rather than benefit it like was the original idea. They were being left more vulnerable than ever to killers and Grimm. At the very least, Anna and Agatane seemed prepared to deal with things in the public eye. The last thing they would need is riots during this time, though civil unrest was likely to go up regardless. 'I need to have some emergency measures in place,' he thought to himself, anticipating some disaster to occur now. Dr. Graves would be the first to speak on how to manage the dust issue. While drastic, in total, she was splitting the dust rations well and mentioning issues that may arise. He...visibly flinched when he heard the reduction in health care. He very much did not want to diminish any of it, but he understood there needed to be reductions everywhere. "It is not ideal, but manageable. I shall try my best to reduce it in the meantime. Thank you for the suggestion Dr. Graves," Alfred would respond in regards to the healthcare. Aurelia would mention students aiding in patrols and the huntsman guild, but that was not something in Alfred's control so he remained silent in regards to the huntsman at least. "With most of the military gone, I fear we have to resort to using the students for patrols," he would respond. After her, Aurtrox would begin to speak. Though his solution was...dubious. "Our only solution is to further split ourselves? Our goal with Atlas was to get more dust back and it is causing our current issues. What size of a force are we able to send to reclaim more mines to the south?" he would ask. While he did not think it was a good idea, he wanted more details before he would entirely shoot the idea down. Aurtrox would then, as usual, push to end the meeting early as he seemed to think his part was done already. For someone with a reputation for knowing a lot and coveting the most advanced technology, he did not anything in regards to criminal issue. Alfred's gaze would then turn to Sebastian, Aurtrox, and Aurelia. "With our military soon to be spread thin here during our Atlas endeavor, and the recent killings...It means the council member with the biggest target on their back is Aurtrox and Sebastian respectively. If they were bold enough to kill Arachne when we had our full force, it seems likely they will try again during this time. We are spreading ourselves dangerously thin, and no doubt many will be aware of our vulnerabilities," Alfred would say aloud as he looked at those current as acting head and the backup of Aurelia. "What are our plans and contingencies if the worst happened and we lose the acting heads in Vale?" he would ask bluntly, his wording deliberate. He was unsure who would be going on the Atlas endeavor, but he had suspicions at least one or two of the three would. Which means there would at most be two of them left here to lead, and their deaths would be huge blow. It may even be enough to lose Vale should the worst come to pass and they were unprepared.

SEBASTIAN HYDRA/ Shadow Minister of Defense-¨Im just a real sicko when you get to know me. It's why I am a Hydra ¨
"Please refrain from using such vulgar languages and nuances during these meetings. There may be a few tardies, but this is still a meeting of minds and professionals." he said and he observed the room. Sebastion would turn to Aggy and give him a hard, "No. I have a wife and I don't need a replacement whether she is present or not." Sebastion, much like a few other of the council members, was growing weary of the antics plaguing the meeting. The cerulean councilman turned his attention to the hologram woman. Not only listening to her on ailing his distressed wife, but also some measures on extending the dwindling supply shortage they were facing. "Excuse me, for just a second." Sebastion approached the doors and gathered the guards attention requesting something. He returns to the table and addresses Graves. "A helpful mind as always, Doctor. Though I do share some concerns to cut even a small margin from healthcare," he looks to Sanguis sharing his sentiment, "in the grand picture it does seem necessary." He silently huffed a sigh of frustration. Much to his chagrin he had another bit of bad news that had to be shared. "We've also lost access to Menagerie and Aidou's airship went down adding more onto this barrage of issues." he said with a bit of fatigue."Though I do fear how the publics keener eyes and ears will react to this." he thought. It doesn't matter. In cases like this the general idea of the public outweighs the niche few who pay close attention. Leaving it to Aggy and Anna is definitely the best decision. A few moments into his thoughts and a knock came from the door. "Enter." Seb says with authority. A member of the serving crew entered with a cart of refreshments ranging from small handsnacks such as fruit and small confections. Accompanying the foods on the cart were drinks from water to juices. The odd one out being a small vile of milk. "Please place the foods in the middle of the table, but pass out the drinks respectively." he says as he motions with his hand.
The server follows his instruction and gives everyone a water except Aurelia. He water was joined by the vial of milk. He was Aurelia's husband after all; if his wife was uncomfortable he would put an end to it expeditiously. Also, allowing her to suffer with his in-law as audience would leave a bad taste in his and the mentioned mouth. Thinking back to Graves stopgap plan he was getting increasingly obvious that they're backs were being pushed into the wall. As if it weren't already. Looking to Aurtrox Sebastian would shake his head. "Only apologize for something if you're truly burdened by it. At this point your apology hold no weight, Aurtrox." which was something the entire council probably felt. Hearing him speak of the mines just off the border of Vacuo he'd hum in acknowledgment and keep that information in the back of his mind. "Having students do night time patrols as long as they're grouped with professional huntsmen may not be a bad idea. It's good for experience and it tightens security." he thought aloud.
Ignoring Aurtrox about ending the meeting for now, he turned his attention to Sanguis. "Steps are being taken as to what should happened if some event were to render the acting heads incapacitated." he put as professionally as he could. "At this current point we may have to keep splitting. We have to maintain our security visage even if the number may be a bit spindly. If we do nothing than we'll be even worse off. Until we can all think of a solution that has the best chance of success with the least chance of casualties. "Seb says. "Please everyone watch your backs and report any findings or information you come across immediately. Does anyone else have any questions or concerns that can be addressed?" he asked
┏━━━━━━━━┓ Aurelia Hayes ┗━━━━━━━━┛ ✬Deputy Head Mistress of Beacon Academy✬ Shadow Education Minister✬
Of course, Aurtrox wanted to end the meeting early. After all of the effort, she went into getting him here Aurelia was tempted to find a way to drag the meeting out. That would mean delaying the rest of the councillors, however, and a tonne of work had just been added to their plates to meet these quotas. Maybe she would find a stack of documents for him to sign later.
"So we've traded Menagerie for Atlas. Only we haven't secured Atlas yet." It felt like they were losing ground, not gaining it. She wondered what the Grimm would do once the last human fell. "The news of Aidou and Menagerie will cause strong negative emotions among the public, attracting Grimm to the city. With our forces split and someone hunting down councillors... well it could create the perfect opportunity for the forces that work against us. However, if the public finds out from other sources, it could be much worse. Is there any way we can limit negative emotions Annamoretta?" She asked their Minister of Culture. All of this bad news was certainly putting a lot on Ammamoretta's plate. The ongoing Fire Festival might soften the blow, but Aurelia wasn't sure it would be enough. "Perhaps opening the mines to the south is a wise course despite our forces being spread so thin."
Aurelia smiled, a somewhat rare sight, though it was hard to tell if it was because Sebastian had called out Aurtrox for his fake apology or if it was because he had found a way to discretely get her the antidote to her recent near poisoning. Aurelia took a long slow drink of the milk as the topic turned to the dwindling number of councillors. Sweet relief spread across her mouth and she sighed softly. A security detail would be bad for Aurtrox and his extracurricular activities. "I believe under the current framework, if Aurtrox were to become unreachable or incapacitated I would take his place. For Sebastian, it would be the third in command in the military - recently temporarily promoted to second in command. And if I were to perish the military alone would be in charge. I suppose the founders felt if things became that dire the military was our best bet for survival." They could of course vote to change that framework, but Aurelia didn't have a better idea for who should take the lead should she, Aurtrox and Sebastian all be taken out. "I propose we all take the utmost efforts to keep our whereabouts as unknown as possible. I know that will be difficult for someone of you whose job is largely interacting with the public, but perhaps instead of scheduling town halls, you could randomly drop in on a small group of people. Ask for reports via email and schedule meetings via hologram from undisclosed locations. I fear no matter how much security we bring to public meetings, our enemy will find a way to set up a trap similar to the purge if they know where we are going to be."

My goodness, with how quick of a personality shift Sebastian had perceived his way, Aggy could only raise a brow at him. Simple flirtations and jokes aside, that man went way too quick from a blushing mess, to a cold and serious bore in the matter of seconds. Was Aurelia's arrival containing the powers to make someone a different person? Intriguing. Such a response of rudeness to the joke had the nobleman just sober up, practically making him just shoo a hand at him a that point. Looks like Cedric was just gong to receive an extra dose of flirtations afterwards. Since no one was in a joking mood anymore, Aggy managed to compose himself a little, after his small obligement to taking care of what he was able to on his end. When the conversation regarding the mines had come around his way, he had more he could say on that, rather than on the shortage, aside from what was said already. Many had spoken his same sentiments in one way or another. "Ah~ I do have a counter point to help relieve as such. I should have a few miners among the people that I am sure wouldn't mind volunteering themselves to help with all of the issues we have regarding publicity, and upon our thin numbers spreading more... Heheh.... With the shortage being there, and those losing jobs, I'm sure if we approve for the mining, that will open job opportunities for the community itself. Some protection will need to be provided of course, but I am sure the people will want to contribute and bring forth the hope for all. The PASSION will shine forth, and bring us both good and bad predicaments!!" Ever the more optimistic one of them all, Aggy found the idea a good choice to expand the camaraderie, as well as some extra bits of propositional planning in store. If those people got hurt, medical issues could be prioritized to those people in order to get the potential profit brought through. Pretty much anything from then on, he was silently chuckling at all the words being thrown about. No one had bad questions, and no one really had bad answers. That was fantastic to see.
What lit him up into saying something at another point from his silent observing, was towards Aurtrox trying to end the meeting so soon. The way he spoke on the criminal activity had him shaking his head. "Ah. Poor Aurtrox. Lad, if we are to act as if the lives of people aren't important, then what point is there to you being in charge of a school full of students? Aurelia would be a wonderful replacement for you someday, and despite you being devilishly handsome, a tall glass of water like you needs to know when to balance out that nonsense way of thinking! It is thusly not good for your own health." Shaking his head, the councilman brought forth some self relief at the arrival of the food and beverage that had entered their way. "Ah~! Wonderful timing!!"Taking his water in appreciation, that didn't stop him from playfully spanking the person who delivered the drink, giving them a wink behind his sunglasses, before glancing towards the rest as they continued on the meeting. Aside from what he could gather, everything was looking up in the air, but one could hope a decision would be made soon. Sounded like it, based off the question from Sebastian towards all on anything else. Aurelia was the first to speak, speaking on laying low. As someone as flashy as him, he could only chuckle, hiding his laugh behind his glass of water best as he could. "Can't make any promises there my loves." Setting the glass back down, he awaited till after Aurelia and Anna spoke, taking his turn. "My only thing to add in, is that I am hoping we have a proper voting upon this mine stuff, as it seems we are standing in different corners... Well.. Some of us~."

Hmph. It was about time, that someone in this room had matured up, and had chosen to keep things professional. Watching Sebastian completely shutting down, and continuing with his reports and announcements. Anything to proceed this foolishness along, just so everyone can finally leave this fun house, more specifically her. The lack of sleep, and interruptions, were disturbing peoples minds, and clearly making some, more ridiculous than normal. Take for example, that hermit in the projection corner, adding in random commentary about dairy. Another example being mess that had occurred with Aurtrox and Aurelia coming in, causing a bumbling circus theme. "UGH." One good thing to come out of Sienna however, was concerning the arena, and shutting it down along the reduction of dust usage. She had no care upon all the equation making for the rest of the society, but the first parts had brought forth some sort of approval by a tiny smile, and a slight rumbling purr from her throat.. Following her though was Aurelia, who brought forth student aiding patrols. Scrunching her nose towards that idea, her lovely eyes shifting to Aurtrox next, who spoke on southern Vale. Clearly wanting to leave, it was the time she spoke then, looking disinterested at him, though she waited until Alfred had been done speaking."Do you think we all enjoy getting out of bed in the middle of the night for this? If we are really that concerned about criminal activity, why do we not engage with Aurelia's plan on patrols, and leave it to student joining city patrols in order to control the criminal activity until the shortages can go away, and once normal dust count has been brought forth? Would be a mild waste of young people, just sending them out on missions with a lack of supply. Our image is important after all, and having them sent out in the wilderness less prepared than they should be only tarnishes our reputations. I do agree with Sanguis on this whole traveling nonsense to check the south. That was something that should have been done much sooner, rather than awaiting until now, when it is dire as it is. I will add in to your own words Sanguis... I have just as much of a target on my person, as I am the voice of what is brought from here to the public. Words are so much like delicious daggers, and what leaves here, to them out there.... Well... You can imagine the power of the voice is just as bittersweet. I would hope no one would try to kill such divine loveliness as I.""
Wanting to say more, she was interrupted by Sebastian, who seemed to have finally animated himself to go to the door for something. Having hear his little comments here and there in-between everything, there was nothing much for her to comment towards him on, only stating some fact from her side. For whatever reason both Menagerie and Atlas had to also be brought up in-between it all, which in turn had brought forth a question her way. Oh? Aurelia had a question for her? Interesting thing to ask."In order to suppress the negativity that will rise out of this, having to fill the people with a sort of hope, or at least a distraction, can be the best two options. If you are to mine for the south, given the consequences and issue with it, might I suggest we find some discreet way to work with this. Making those mines a public announcement, only for it to fail, will only create more chaos. Might I suggest forming a sort of event to keep the attention and distraction at bay? I would suggest something more towards the health of the people especially, so the concerns all may have in the room presently for this can be reprieved a little. If you are wanting to take forces, perhaps sending them during the event to look will be a safe-gate for us to properly announce it, should the plan succeed. These are some sorts of intake to it. I know when I bring this all forward to the news itself, I am going to need quite a few words to coax the worries down." Tossing some hair over her shoulder, her eyes had darted to the doors Sebastian had returned from to continue things, just hearing the sound of the cart wheels approaching. As they were told to enter in, she was almost willing to forgive the late night intrusion, seeing a glass of milk among the fray of drinks. To see it was for Aurelia however, she turned her head away from her glass of water, telling them to dump that down with the toilet water. Now she wanted this meeting to end just as Aurtrox wanted. Odd that she was agreeing on something with him. As for questions and answers however, she rose one hand elegantly. "My only question is towards Sienna. Since I know you have most likely been our note taker, be a dear, and send a copy of those notes to my scroll, so I will be able to put together my report to announce to the public eye in the morning. I do agree Aurelia that we should all be laying low. I can arrange it all to take place in my manor, or a safe house, and make the news from there."
