Character: Cian Choice: B RP Response: The hallowed grimm cursed, claws at his feet digging into the soft soil and fallen debris. Small things to push himself forward. It wasn't like he'd have a great advantage against a four-legged creature in pure speed. Around him, the forest began to press in. Branches snagged at his breeches and fur, clawed against exposed skin. He had to watch out for roots and tangled underbrush. Yet their hunters seemed to be slowed by none of it. He grit his teeth and ducked his head to avoid a low branch. If only they'd get smacked with that... He had options again, and wasn't entirely convinced any would be especially wise. But. He had to pick something.

Character: Ligeia Choice: C RP Response: It may not be a great idea, fleeing into the bramble thickets, but Ligeia was hoping either for more cover to help break lines of sight or that the sharp, snagging briars would slow her pursuers to some degree. Anything for the chance of more space between her and the hunting party. Her penchant for well loved knee high boots would hopefully save her some of the worst of the ensnaring brambles, but she still braced for the inevitable sting of the thorns. She was looking at maybe seconds for decision. The more open space of the trail just seemed like more chances for the centaur to catch up to her, to snatch her. While the trees seemed to be growing closer together, it still seemed like plenty enough space to get grabbed, though the trees would probably be handy for stopping thrown or fired projectiles. The thicket could possibly stop some projectiles, but she was more just wanting for them to slow down.
Yeah, they had home field advantage, but she was driven! She was far from finished and Ligeia was determined to make it through this. Her breathing huffed sharply through her teeth as she ran, an odd hiss rising from her throat at the slash or jab from the thorns.

Character: Saiph Choice: C RP Response: Saiph just kept running, not thinking real hard about choices made. Once inside the thorn bushes the fey hyrbid regretted the path, but it was too late to change. Instead Saiph did their best to avoid the pointy pieces and keep their wings safely out of reach. Next time, clear paths only.

Character: Tabi Choice: B RP Response: Although she was with Eir for a moment, she quickly lagged behind. Her naga tail, which was so much more comfortable on the loose sand of the desert, just struggled to keep up here. "Eir?" she called, feeling a moment of fear. If she couldn't get out of the way, she would surely be lost to the Centaurs. Seeing a dirt path, she darted out onto it, hoping she might gain more ground on the much less cluttered terrain.

Character: Troy Choice: C RP Response:
Troy's leg was killing him but he couldn't stop moving, not while knowing the centaurs would be hot on their tracks. He weaved and shifted through the trees, trying to zig-zag in a confusing pattern just in case he was being closely followed. He didn't dare stop to look back. Even so, he couldn't continue on the same path; the centaur's knew the forest and were well versed in moving through it. He had to think of something....something that might give him a leg up against them. He spotted a bramble thicket coming up and his mind instantly thought back to his training in the obstacle courses. On another side he could see there was a clearer dirt path that would make it easier for him to pass...but also easier for the centaurs. He had to make this difficult for them...and that meant he had to take on the challenge. Changing his direction, he dove for the brambles and got down on his stomach, crawling into them military style. He kept low and tried to shield his face as he pulled himself along the ground, trying to stay as far under the brambles as he could to minimize the damage they did to his clothes and skin. He could feel them pulling and scratching, surely causing some new cuts along the way...but he kept going. He would not stop unless he either saw the end of the forest or he was taken by force.

Character: Sierra Choice: A RP Response: With a soft growl Sierra quickly assesed the up coming options. She could either continue with the damn woods, go for the briar patch that might well be trapped- and while it would slow them it would slow her as well, or go for the clear forest path the would mean the hunting centaurs could open up with their ranged weaponry.......so she feinted towards the brambles but then cut a hard turn the other direction to continue through the forest. As she did so the thought struck her that perhapsif she went the forrest route she could manage to snag some of those mushrooms the Spider twins had eaten........and if they captured her she could see that a few went out with her somehow.....maybe she could posion their water........'then we'll see whoes beastly' she thought.
She wished she had time to go warg form.....but she had no way of knowing how much of whatever they had drugged her with might still be in her system.

Character: Bertie Botts Every Flavour Beans Choice: A RP Response:
Sherbet had never much been a fan of horses, but the thunderous storm of trampling hooves that rose up behind him would have been enough to terrify anyone. “Over-developed draft horses,” the chimera thought as he slipped across a pile of leaves. Even so, he stumbled less often than when he started.
As Sherbet wobbled to keep from falling, an angry buzz pierced the air. He felt a draft between his ears and then it as soon as it had come, it was gone again. Up ahead, a barbed arrow quivered in the side of a tree trunk. A few inches lower and it would have taken him in the head. Had he been upright, the neck. Neither possibility was particularly heartening.
Folding his wings to cover the back of his head and spine, Sherbet ducked around a tree. He pressed himself against the bark, feeling the lump that was his heart in his throat. Until he could shake the archer, evasive tactics would be the safest option. At least until he got penned in.
Sherbert is currently an NPC.

The centaurs move mostly as one large group, however a few individuals disappear into trees to pursue any stragglers. They're on their own terrain, but these creatures they were pursuing were surprisingly agile. As they come to the forest, Aritao signals for them to stop for a moment. Their prey has scattered, but the terrain in front of them offers a unique set of difficulties depending on their direction.
After a few moments - Aritao is happy to spend time deliberating, arrogant as she is in their skills, she knows they will still catch up to their prey - they continue their hunt...

Character: Amity Choice: A RP Response:
Amity stopped quickly as the ravine came into sight, all too happy to recall the last time she’d gotten too close to the edge of a ravine. She peered down into it, and looked back, biting at her cheek. It wasn’t as deep as the one before, and she didn’t expect the centaurs to be able to slide down into it and move as quickly as they have been (though this was their home…).
Amity bolted to the edge of the ravine and dropped over the edge, sliding on her side to the bottom. She hunkered down and out of sight for a few minutes, grateful for the break to catch her breath, but didn’t dare wait too long. She had to keep moving, or be captured and turned into stew meat.

Character: Amarith Choice: A RP Response: Amarith skidded to a wincing stop at the edge of the ravine and looked down, then looked across. Those horrid monsters would definitely be able to jump as easily as she could glide across, if not even more easily, and so there was no point in jumping or using the nearby tree to get across. Down however, down might have some measure of safety, or at least slow the savages down. She spread her wings for a controlled fall to the bottom. Scratched up by the brambles, and her leg probably bleeding again, she had to try to avoid leaving more tracks where possible.
