She was the last person he would... 'On second thought, she was the most likely.' He briefly thought to himself as he squirmed a little but didn't do anything to force her hands away from his mouth. He knew how devastating her head butts were so he could only imagine how much of an iron grip she could have if he resisted too much. He did grumble incoherently as anything he would try to say was being muffled against her hand. "Mmmhhh mmh mmffff!" Was all that could be heard from him, roughly translating to 'you didn't have to gag me!' She would whisper harshly for him to keep his voice down as he grumbled silently. He was pretty sure nothing bad was going to happen, and even if it did in his mind it was better to have anything bad come out to them. 'I am the only one who could see in the dark after all.' He silently thought to himself just now. If they went in they would need something to help the other two see if it got too dark. Well, if it were that dark. It may not be as bad once they were actually in the cave. She would then add that good things never follow when someone did that, to which he would normally retort and explain his reasoning but couldn't with her hand covering his mouth. She didn't even seem remotely ready to let go of his mouth quite yet either. Henryk would see Remus' spectral foxes turn into bats and enter the cave with him close behind. Henryk wondered why he was going in when they hadn't had a response yet, maybe him thinking that nothing was there, when he heard two different voices yelling that they were in here and needed help.
Henryk would then feel Ella's grip over his mouth lighten from that and took the chance to escape and be able to take a deep breath of air again. Sure, he was able to breathe through his nose but he couldn't breathe quite as much as he liked earlier. Looking back to the others he would have a triumphant look on his face. "See? Something good came about me yelling into the cave. Lets go!" He would quickly say to the two girls before rushing into the cave himself like a kid to a candy store. He was super happy to hear that the people had made it, that his hope was well founded. But also amidst the excitement was slightly masked worry because they said they needed help. He saw absolutely no reason to delay at all and since he could see decently in the dark he didn't slow down as he entered. There should have been a slight thought consideration for the other two since he wasn't sure if they could see quite as well as him, but that thought didn't have time to enter his mind since it was focused on the people. 'Thankfully we aren't too late.' He thought to himself. So focused he didn't even hear what Remus said when he was within voice range of him. Despite his own speed in trying to get to them, he did not beat Remus there as he had a head start and was already moving pretty fast when Henryk first caught sight of him. It may not have been a race or anything, but Henryk couldn't help but feel this slight desire to beat Remus in a race in the future. The far future once he saw the state of some of the people.
'Ahhh! So many of them are wounded.' He thought to himself in a panic, his excitement turning to incredible worry. He had forgotten that for them to get away they probably would be injured, especially with what happened to team Harem just following after them. One had a broken arm, another seemed badly wounded, and apparently another had a wounded ankle. He was at a loss of what to do; he was no healer for sure, and he doubted his circus tricks could help much. Thankfully in his own indecision Remus took the initiative to assess things and come up with a plan of action. Henryk was so grateful for his team mates as they often knew the things he didn't. He would nod his head to Remus' plan. "Sounds like a plan to me Remus. What will you need?" Henryk responded, hoping to be of some help here. He may have no real medical knowledge for this type of thing, but he didn't need that if he was told what he was supposed to look for. His gaze would then turn back to the group of people in slight concern. "Don't worry, you are safe now. We're here to help get you all back and keep you safe!" He would say enthusiastically, his concern on his face shifting to confidence as he sounded like he really believed what he said. Which he did for the most part, and he wanted the people to feel as such. Though a thought did cross his mind. "What happened?" He would simply ask them. He doubted the beowolves would've given up and gone back to where they were ambushed if they had found people. They didn't even really look injured when his team fought them, so it made him think something else may have attacked this group. And he needed to know to help keep them and his team safe, he didn't want a repeat of the wolves. ✘ Post count: 47 ▄ ▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄ ▄ OOC: IT WAS PEOPL- MMMF!

Chloris was about to scold Henryk but she had been beaten to it by the comical intervention of Ella's quick thinking. She would have laughed if the situation wasn't so tense at this particular moment. The darkness and silence didn't help none. She would hold her breath, praying they still had some favor with someone (maybe the spirits of this world) that they would not be in battle too soon. A sigh of relief escaped the petite woman's lips as she heard desperate shouts of innocent and scared peoples. More than one...and many injured, she guessed they killed their attackers.
There was no telling when Grimm might come around though, so with her teammates, she would move inside the darkened cave as well when she heard of those that were injured inside."Well, I have plenty of supplies, but I'll need something for her leg, like wood if I'm going to make a brace of sorts,"The nature girl replied. Thinking about it, she would hand her bag to their tall archer and spectral beast master, Remus."Hold this, I gotta scour the mouth of the cave for sturdy branches,"Chloris said in a way that left very little to no room for argument. Once it was taken, she would start her way back but turned on a whim and pointed at the tall gentleman."You drop and break anything in that bag though and I will have your hide."The young cornflower-blue-haired girl walked off to do as she said after giving him a stern warning. She couldn't see in the dark, but she would damn well try to make it back.

Ella Fletcher "Would you like to go for a swim?"
Ella sighed with relief when it was evident there was no threat about to jump the group due to Henryk's shouting - it actually worked this time. She smirked a little, looking at her leader as she did so. "You got lucky this time Henryk!" she said, almost laughing but realizing that now was not the time. Ella looked to the group that had obviously been in some form of fight and also examined their surroundings, she wasn't so sure that everything was going to be ok, and kept her awareness on. She noticed the injuries that people had, and that the team were putting a focus on the faunus who had badly twisted her ankle, she heard Remus stating that he would use his wolves again, and nodded in agreement. The light began to make the cave a little easier to see in, but by no means was it bright enough to walk without being cautious. Ella walked over and bent down towards the girl, evidently shaken from whatever had happened.
"I have an idea, it won't fix your ankle but it could certainly prove useful.. may I have a look please?" she said, putting her hands out to show she wasn't of any threat to the girl, Ella's appearance probably helped with this also, she was no ugly looking enemy. After the faunus agreed, Ella placed her hands on her twisted ankle, she was no medical expert but she could feel the swelling around it. With her left hand, she reached to get one of the water bottles from her belt and opened it up, standing it against a rock beside her.
Ella then focused, she was evidently concentrating as a small amount of water came from the bottle and wrapped itself around the girls ankle quite a few times. She then put a little bit of pressure on the girls ankle as she solidified the water surrounding it, to create a hardened cast that would be very cool to calm the swelling at the same time as providing support. Ella looked proud of her work, and smiled gently at the girl as she stood up, placing her hand out for her to take. "Even if you can't put much weight on it, that should definitely help to soothe the pain and keep it in place.." she said, waiting to see if the girl would attempt to stand or not.
Looking at her teammates, Ella laughed sheepishly, she wasn't used to being seen as useful by the team, and was almost embarrassed that she had done something to help. "That should provide the support we need without spending too much time searching for all the materials.." she said, looking back at the group, she cocked her head in curiosity. "Where were you all heading?" she asked in general, not sure who was the 'leader' of this mission they were on.
"That's much better, thank you." Mary-Gold told Ella after the cast hardened, wiggling her toes experimentally. "Is there anything you can do for Snow?" She indicated to the bunny with white ears and a blood-soaked cloth being held to her chest. Not to be ungrateful, but the newcomers seemed a lot more concerned about her ankle than they were about the guard with a giant bleeding wound in her chest.
"Yes, please, Snow needs more aid than the little we've done for her." Added in the male merchant.
"Beowolves." The uninjured female merchant answered Henryk. "There were too many and we had to run. Luckily we found this cave."
"Saved our lives." Growled the large bear.
"The Beowolves couldn't surround us. Chris Lee and Snow were able to take them out one by one, but not without getting injured themselves. With our wagon broken, we didn't know how we were going to get back to Vale. Not without splitting up the group." It was something they had been debating before HARE showed up. Then her tone changed, the sort of sorrow of trying to remain hopeful while knowing it was hopeless. "There were more of us. You didn't happen to find anyone else did you?" Part of her knew they'd be with the group if they had been found, but she had to ask anyway. She had seen some of them get taken down by the Grimm before they ran, but some of them had to have made it as they did. Right?
Meanwhile, the spectral animals would pick up on three black shapes with red glowing eyes approaching the cave. An Ursa Major travelling with two Ursa Minors. If Remus didn't act quickly, Chloris would soon be facing the trio alone.

Chloris responded quickly after Remus asked her if she had anything to treat the people they had found. It seemed she had the supplies to do so, but it also seemed she, much like him, had performed her own evaluation of the situation and come up with a plan for how to treat the injuries of everyone here. The girl with soft blue hair that looked like a much darker shade thanks to the poor light handed her bag over to Remus while talking about needing other things. She really wasn't giving Remus an inch to try and stop her or refuse the bag so in the end he was standing there holding the bag and watching her leave the group as she back tracked her way to the cave entrance again. Remus frowned as he thought that she was being over zealous on this. If she need someone to gather sticks for braces or a stretcher then having Henryk or himself do it would have been better. She was needed here to actually start using the stuff in the bag. Instead all they had was Remus, holding the bag, while he talked to Henryk about a plan of action for how to actually get everyone out of her and back to Vale safely once the medical stuff was dealt with.
Henryk approved the idea that Remus had suggested and he saw Ella was nodding her head in agreement for the plan as well. Remus turned in place to evaluate their wards again after Henryk asked about what they would need. His eyes following the silhouette of Ella as she approached the girl with the injured ankle. It seemed from what he could hear that she had an idea in mind for how to handle her. While he watched Ella doing her work he responded to their leader. â€Right now we only really need two things. The time for Chloris to do what she can for that girl's chest wounds. The other thing Chloris said she was going to get some of before she left. So long as she brings us a pair of good sturdy sticks that are about six foot long each then a blanket or some shirts are all that are needed to make the stretcher I mentioned earlier.†It really wouldn't be difficult to enact the plan once Chloris was back. Though his voice contained a hint of his earlier vexation at why she hadn't left the fetch work to someone who didn't actually know much in the way of complicated first aid. The best Remus could do is about limited to the bandage work he did for Ella earlier and maybe an improvised brace for the big guy's arm. That chest injury looked bad enough to be beyond him. Moreover he knew nothing about what Chloris had in her bag of herbal first aid.
Remus sighed softly while watching Ella. She was doing something that would probably be much more amazing if he could see it clearly. The low light wasn't allowing for it. Though when she finished she certainly seemed pleased with herself. He couldn't help but offer her a soft â€Good job, Ella,†while Henryk was questioning the survivors for more details. Remus turned his attention away from the girl Ella was helping who was evidently called Mary-Gold and a male merchant who was holding a cloth to the downed guard's chest as a bleeding stop gap. They were asking Ella if the team could do anything for her. His attention focusing instead on the large faunus they were calling Chris Lee and another female merchant. These two seemed to be responding to Henryk's questioning and were talking about what happened. At the end of the story the merchant asked about if they had found others. Her tone made it hard to look her in the eye but since it had been him and Ella that had do the tracking and Ella was currently talking to others by where Snow was laying Remus felt he was the one that had to answer her. So he forced himself to do so. â€I'm sorry to say but our search of the area revealed only the one set of tracks leading away from the wagon. There was no other indication of humans or faunus leaving that ar--†Remus suddenly stopped speaking and turned around quickly.
His shared sense was blaring an alarm. In his mind he focused on the animals that were contacting him. Since he was standing right there beside him Henryk would be able to easily see Remus's eyes widening as he stared off towards a wall with a hundred yard look. Remus wasn't seeing that wall. He was seeing past it, long past it and back into the tree trunks in that direction. A group of Ursa was approaching the them as a quick pace. They'd reach the mouth of the cave in a handful of second. Perhaps half a minute at best. Chloris went back there. She might be out in the forest even looking for those sticks she wanted... He can't get rid of the birds on guard duty or merge them together to create enough aura to take on a larger form. To change them for larger more combative animals means releasing them to free up aura and re-summoning the new animals, but new summons always appear close to him. He can't buy time like this. This is bad. Outside the cave his animals had already begun retreating back. All the birds were easily able to outpace the Ursa as they withdrew the perimeter of Remus's sentry net. Within seconds the tree branches directly over Chloris's head were filled with half a score of spirit birds. Every last one of them flapping their wings and making a racket. A scene that would be impossible to not notice. Given her current place of separation from the others the alarmed and panicking aura birds were all the warning Remus could provide Chloris about her current situation.
The long distance stare ended after a second and Remus ground his teeth while cursing under his breath. Only Henryk would be able to make out which exact word he used. He set the bag Chloris had given him on the cave floor so he could handle his bow properly again. â€Ella, Henryk, we need to go right now! Chloris is in danger!†He gave his warning as he turned his head to look at Ella and Henryk. His feet were moving before he finished speaking. He sprinted as fast as his legs would carry him for the cave entrance and where his spirit animals told him Chloris was right now. 'Why'd I just let her go off by herself?' Once he heard at least one of the others following after him he specified on what was happening even though he had no idea if either one had actually asked about what was happening. â€There's a group of three Ursa approaching the cave. One of them is really big. They'll probably find Chloris any second now...†Remus had a good grasp on the position of the enemy. His birds had stopped watching the Ursa to rush ahead of them to Chloris's position. If they kept pace then she would have five second, maybe ten, after the birds arrived before the Ursa did. If he assumed the ten seconds and a mad dash then she would have to fend for herself for maybe half a minute. No they should make it in twenty seconds tops. Less if she tries to run back to the cave. Surely she'll be able to manage that long on her own if she has to fight them. She has to. Remus wouldn't accept any other reality except the one where Chloris holds out until they reach her.

Pain, fear and just a hint full-on panic. It was an intoxicating mix that drew the grimm. Slower than their beowolf cousins the 3 armoured bears had been easily beaten to the prey, but it seemed the lesson of the tortoise and the hare would be proven true on this day. What had started as a weak sensation became an irresistible pull that drove the lumbering beasts forward with as much haste as they could muster. The smell of blood filled the air. They came across a lone figure. They could practically taste the fear in the air. Rip. Tear. Bite. Yet when the creature stopped moving and their maws were bloody something still drove them forward. The trio abandoned their kill and pressed forward. More blood, but this was older, already soaking into the ground. The abandoned wagons indicated their prey was once here, but no longer. The Ursa could feel them up ahead. The sensation had dipped some, but not enough for them to lose the trail. Pain was now stronger than fear. The closer they got the more powerful the urge became and soon they could smell the pain and fear, and taste the blood in the air. Strange glowing lights raced passed the Ursa, but consumed with what lay ahead they hardly paid any attention to them. A caved appeared and a lone figure in the entrance. One of the Ursa Minor's growled in excitement, remembering the last long figure they had come across, before charging forward. The Ursa Major, a little older and a little wiser, showed restraint. The one before them was not the one creating the delicious concoction of sensations and smells. There were others, and where there were many grimm died.

Chloris had come by pretty quick to Remus and him with a solution for the girls leg... before dumping her bag on Remus and going to gather supplies for it before Henryk could even blink. 'And I thought I was the one that was quick to action.' He thought to himself in a slight daze. She had left no room for discussion or even weighing options before she left, with the threat of having Remus' hide if he did anything to that bag. 'Thank the maker she didn't give it to me.' He thought with slight relief. Though as she walked out of sight something did dawn on him; he could've helped! He was already waiting to gather things for Remus for the very same reason anyway... But it was too late now. Much of his team were like him; once their minds were set it was hard to stop them. Henryk was sure Remus knew what to do with the bag with all the medical patching up he'd done before. But for now he was focusing on the plan of attack and saying they would need Chloris for the one with the chest wound. Which Henryk could agree with... the chest wound looked bad so they would probably need both their medics for it. And as for the leg... they did need the sticks. And sticks for a stretcher too. So a lot of supplies were needed. So much so Henryk was debating just going after Chloris to offer help but... His attention was taken by Ella as she went to the girl with the messed up ankle.
His team's semblances were so much cooler and versatile than his that he was jealous. He watched in awe as Ella's water went around the girls ankle before hardening into what he assumed could be ice around it. He clapped immediately on impulse as she helped the girl up and it seemed to be helping. "Awesome Ella! Your water abilities are so cool.... does this mean we no longer need a splint for her?" Henryk would say happily and excitedly to Ella before his face would turn to Remus questioningly. As far as he could tell, that would work for that they needed. Or so he thought at least. He had no medical training whatsoever. The extent he knew was to put on a bandage over a cut or scrape. And even then it was only sometimes for some reasons or it would get worse. Then all the people they found would begin to speak, thankfully taking turns and not overriding each other. First it was about snow needing more aid for her chest wound... Which Henryk really wished he knew something about medicine or a way to help but he honestly had no clue whatsoever. He would cast a glance to Ella. "Can your water help with that? Or maybe one of your bandage wraps?" He would ask worriedly to Ella first, then Remus in terms of bandages. He felt slightly useless in this situation. He definitely had to learn more from them about medicine at some point. He would then get his answer to what happened. It was like he thought of Beowolves attacking and them seeking shelter in the cave. And that the two remaining guards took them all on one by one till there were none left. He looked in awe to the two wounded guards. They had to have gone through a lot of fighting to hold/ clear them off. As they mentioned splitting up the group earlier he was glad they didn't. "You don't have to worry about splitting up now! We will protect you all to the best we can, and when Chloris gets back we can try treating your wounds a bit more." He would say with confidence and genuine belief. He was not about to let anything happen to them after all they've been through; both groups. As he heard the next question though he felt his inspiring words die a little. He wasn't a tracker, but Remus was the best he knew (well the only one he knew). And he had only seen one set of tracks with the beowolves lying in wait... Before henryk could respond Remus decided to.
He mentioned only seeing one set of tracks leaving that area, and while Henryk was preparing to say there could still be a chance others made it and that they would look... Remus suddenly cut off and seemed to stare at a wall. Confused and slightly nervous with the injured group right there, he would wave his hand in front of Remus' eyes though he didn't seem to see it. "Remus? Everything alright...?" He would ask, confused and worried something may have happened to Remus. He didn't seem to even really be looking with his eyes in his mind, having that weird distracted look. He would curse and put Chlrois' bag down while drawing his bow before mentioning... 'Chloris was in danger!?' He thought panicked in his mind. Remus was already running for the cave entrance, and Henryk almost followed instantly had it not been for the familiar scent of blood again. He had been mostly blocking it out... but his senses had heightened slightly because of the warning Remus gave. Turning to the group he would speak briefly. "Stay here and yell if anything. We'll handle whatever is out there!" His tone was confident if warning as he turned and ran a few steps before pausing and looking back. "I promise i'll send back Chloris as soon as she is ok. Just hang in there a bit longer snow." He would say reassuringly and truthfully. He didn't know how fatal her wound was, just that it looked really really bad. And he was not going to have anyone die on his watch. With that said, he would race to the entrance of the cave as fast as he could, Cane being drawn as he did so. He would arrive a bit after Remus and Ella if she had ran ahead. ✘ Actual Post count: 51 ✘ Effective post count: 48 ▄ ▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄ ▄ OOC: Will edit if need be

She hated sounding like a hard-head, but that's just how she was sometimes. The petite young woman was also not aware of the ineptness of her teammates' medical abilities. She just hoped none of them died on her team. Her mind then began to wander a bit. After little time at all, Chloris was at the mouth of the cave, with a bit of embarrassment along the way as she had walked into and apologized to at least one stalagmite. Making sure to seek with her quarterstaff the rest of the journey to the cave's mouth.
Encountering brightness, she would then close her eyes before opening them to adjust to the light outside. Keeping close to the entrance to the cave she would start to look for a few of the sticks she needed close-by. Of course, her seeking would be cut short as the sight of a flock of spirit birds caught her attention. Mossy green eyes would glare out at the edge of the trees across the field from the cave; her eau de Nil aura surrounding her and her oak staff. Her staff would begin to take the form of a three-pronged polearm, a trident with sharp points and its body decorated with vicious-looking thorns.
"Well, this should be fun,"She said with more of a Southern twang to it. Her mossy green eyes looked to the approaching Grimm bears. Her tone was more sarcastic than she had meant it to be as she thought she might have to wait for her teammates to get there. The petite young woman thought they were not such a wonder since those too were common for her to see back home. But they were still going to be troublesome nonetheless as one of the younger ones seemed to be charging for her."Well, guess yer first,"The girl with the cornflower-blue braid smirked before running out to meet the Ursa Minor only enough to get in range to strike the creature with the sharp ends of the five-and-a-half-feet tall trident at its stomach region.

Ella Fletcher "Would you like to go for a swim?"
Ella looked over at the rabbit faunus, she was clearly injured badly in her chest and needed help. She opened her eyes widely and moved beside her, bending down as she looked at the chest, "I'm going to have to get to your wound, do you mind?" she asked the woman, as she then took her water bottle out again, indicating she was going to use it to help them. Her attention was quickly averted however, as Remus let the group know that Chloris was in danger. Ella was torn, she wanted to help her team and would, however this woman's wound was terrible, the thought of saving her life right now was overwhelming.
Ella looked over to Henryk, who suggested using her water to treat the wounds. She knew they would be fine without her, she was always so useless compared anyway. Ella looked confidently at Henryk as he left, "Don't let Chloris get hurt" she said, turning to face snow again. Ella placed her hand on her bottle and turned the water from it into a bubble blob of water, which she would place directly on the wound if she let her get to the chest in order to soothe and mend the wound. "You're all going to be ok, I'll protect you if anything gets through, I promise!" she said, a little worry in her voice.
Ella watched as her teammates raced to Chloris, she wanted to be with them. But would stay to look after and potentially protect the injured. "Please be safe guys.. Remus, be careful.." she thought to herself, before she concentrated again on helping to sooth the wound.
The last, yet to speak, female merchant quickly shuffled back to give Ella room to look at Snow's wound, leaving the torn bit of cloth sitting on top of it for the huntress to decide what she wanted to do with it. However, before either Snow or the unnamed merchant spoke all eyes turned to Remus. The merchants exchanged worried looks after Remus announce the girl who had left was in danger and took off running.
"We need to leave. Grimm will keep coming here." Chris Lee stated in his low grumbling voice, somewhat stating the obvious.
"They are huntsmen!" Snapped Mary-Gold seeming out of nowhere, or perhaps related to a previous argument.
"Even huntsmen can only fight so many grimm."
Mary-Gold scouled at the bear, but she didn't retort back. It was the male merchant who walked up behind Ella and went to put a hand on her shoulder. "Thank you." His voice full of sincerity, while reflecting the gravity of the situation he knew they were all in. |Is there anything we can do to help?"

Chloris got her warning and after the ursas descended upon her the chattering birds grew quiet. The treetops were devoid of any ghostly lights. Remus had recalled all his summons and opted to leave his semblance on rest. They would need his animals to transport the injured so this needed to happen at some point. It was better to start now so it could be done faster. If absolutely necessary it should be ready again fast enough to finish the ursa off if they really need the extra help. So that left Chloris alone, unsupervised, to fight her opponent until help showed up. Help being Remus and Henryk. Ella had hung back when the boys took off to help Chloris fight off the grimm. Remus just hoped everything would work out. He wasn't sure what Ella could do for those people. In a way time was important here and this fight was a delay they could of done without.
Remus came barreling out of the cave mouth and skid to a stop. His head turning as he looked around. He got his bearings quickly. Partially thanks to the growls and animal like noises the creatures of grimm were making while they confronted their teammate. Remus started to run in that direction after pointing towards where Chloris was upon Henryk catching up with him outside the cave. They would be close enough to engage soon. Remus shifted his pace and gestured for Henryk to move up ahead of him. Weapon wise Henryk had that cane which was more up close and personal that the bow Remus currently was holding. While Henryk move up to take the lead Remus reached for an arrow. One of his arrows. He held the shaft of the projectile against the hand grip of his bow so he could use his right hand to take out something else. A dust cartridge marked with yellow lines. He placed the dust cartridge into the receptor on the arrow's broad head. As the dust was put in the arrowhead began to glow with a soft golden light. The glow got brighter once all the dust in the cartridge was loaded into the arrowhead and an sparking electrical effect began to dance across it. Remus pushed the empty cartridge into his pocket and then nocked the arrow.
Henryk would break out into the clearing first. Remus right on his heels. As soon as they did Remus's eyes darted to Chloris. She was fighting an ursa one on one while the other one and the big one watched on. That was awfully civil of them, but Remus wasn't going to complain about the luck. She had a trident in her hands. He guessed to keep the grimm back while still being able to hurt them. She was safe though and help was here. Remus skid to a stop and lifted the bow in his left hand while the right hand pulled the aura string back to his ear. His eyes darted over the scene and fixed on the second of the smaller ursa. The arrow in the drawn bow lining up on that ursa at the exact same moment. His fingers relaxed and the bow string sprang forward. If this all played out as he hoped then the grimm should be caught completely flat footed by the arrival of the boys. That should increase the odds of this attack landing which is why he invested so much power into it. The loosed arrow rocketed past Henryk with an angry crackling sound and a streak like line of yellow sparks. Remus held his his breath as he watched and waited for the arrow to reach the ursa. Impatiently waiting to see the electricity coil around the grimm and give it a good zapping which would hopefully tilt the numbers in their favor in an instant. 'Come on, please hit.'

Ursa were hardly the most nimble creatures of Grimm. As such, when the Ursa Minor reared up on its hind legs to swat at Chloris with its long claws, her trident struck true, the points sinking into its belly. The bear-like creature gave a roar, though it was hard to say if it was in anger or pain. Do Grimm really feel pain? It brought its heavy paw down on Chloris's trident attempting to bat it aside with its mighty strength. Meanwhile, the second Ursa Minor went to join its brethren. If it wasn't for Remus's quick thinking Chloris would have been in mortal danger, but it didn't get more than a few steps before being struck with an arrow. Normally such an arrow would have been a minor annoyance in its armoured hide, but electricity ran through it stopping the Ursa Minor in its tracks, at least temporarily.
Two more humans, just as the Ursa Major expected. These weren't the two spewing all of the fear and pain either, but even the oldest and wisest of Grimm had so much patience and an Ursa Major had hardly more than that of an Ursa Minor. If it had been a smarter Grimm it might have gone for the cave where all that negative energy was coming from. Instead, it charged for the second closed human too it, Henryk, the closed being Chloris who the Ursa Minor was already fighting.

That was the last thing he was about to let happen to her or any of his teammates if he could help it. 'Please be ok Chloris.' He thought as he raced to try to aid his teammate and friend. He had failed to protect anyone the first time around and it almost got Chloris in extra danger because his first thought was to protect himself. He was not going to make that mistake again, or hopefully not. He would much rather get hurt than any of his team. But he also had to trust them, like he was trusting Ella to care for the wounded and that Chloris could hold her own. She had essentially taken on a beowolf by herself for the most part, or at least more so than he managed. He had needed Remus to finish it off quick, if not it may have been much worse for him as it could've had a chance to counter attack him before. Remus was somewhere up ahead of him but Henryk could see a bit of light from the outside of the cave peeking in. It was a bit annoying due to his eyes adjusting, but he did his best to ignore it.
Once at the cave entrance he caught up to Remus as he pointed out Chloris and another Grimm fighting already! 'Please be ok.' He internally worried. She had thrown caution to the wind a bit, in his mind, given she was no longer right by the cave mouth. But then again he was pretty sure all of them do that when they fought for the most part. Seeing Remus have his bow out and him specifically pointing Henryk in the right direction, he figured he meant Henryk to take point. While Henryk was not sure that was a great idea he didn't argue. Henryk was not the best direct fighter... hell him using his horns against the beowolves was entirely spontaneous. He was more of a trickster than direct, at least that is how he thought of it. He assumed Remus would have a plan. So he ran forward with Remus close behind, headed towards the Grimm with Chloris. He had made a promise to make sure she was safe, even if he knew she wouldn't like her battle being interrupted. He internally cheered as he saw her trident weapon thing go into the Grimm, though it seemed to not be a deathblow as struggled still.
His attention was taken by the sudden appearance of what seemed like a bolt of lightning zooming past him causing Henryk to freeze for a moment in shock. 'What the hell.' He thought as his eyes were drawn to it and followed it to its target. He hadn't noticed the other two Ursa there due to being focused on Chloris. He smiled as he saw the arrow hit the small one and seem to stun it as he saw sparks. He wasn't sure if it was out for the count but that was the last of his worries. The team leader with the attention span of a goldfish had found his attention drawn to something a lot more threatening. The big one began to charge... in his direction. Looking around and seeing he was the only one in its path he gulped... 'Is this what matadors feel like?' He wondered to himself fearfully. It was giant... in his skewed perspective as it charged him. His immediate mind said to run away from its charge but... he did that last time and it almost got Chloris double teamed. Taking a deep breath he resolved himself... He could not do what Ora does and meet it in a charge. But... He could do other things. But he didn't want it charging past him and into someone else like Remus so... He had to think fast. His hand activated the whip form of his cane as he tried to hit it or somewhere near it, to get its attention. Well keep it on him... As Henryk bolted in the direction of the the nearest trees in the clearing, being away from Remus and Chloris. His eyes were scanning around panickedly as he felt fear take hold a little. He didn't know how to fight Grimm, the only experience he had was with the beowolves earlier that day. So he needed something to try and help him out... But also needed to make sure no one else got hurt. "I've got this one Remus, take care of the other one and help Chloris!" He yelled out as loud as he could. He was going to try and pull his own weight. His initial thought was to go to the cave and use that stalagmite, not realizing he was referring to stalactite, and have it fall onto the Grimm. But that endangered the people inside and he wasn't sure he could outrun the Grimm that long. So he bee-lined it to the tree.
[If he manages to stay ahead of it to carry out his plan] He risked a glance back... and eyes widened as he tried to speed up. It was close! Still he needed to keep its attention... "Whats the matter, can't keep up with little old me? Must be too overweight from hibernating all winter!" Henryk would say, unsure if it could understand his insult but hoping his loud voice would keep its attention. Not knowing his fear would probably do that just as well. Nearing his tree of choice, he would run straight for it at full speed as the Grimm closed the gap slowly but surely... And once near the tree his little stunt would be pulled. He would partially run up the tree, only a few feet up due to his talents of acrobatics and faunus trait, before kicking off of it in a back flip. If all went as planned the Grimm would run right into the tree... and he would either end up on its back or behind it. If it went wrong well... He hoped it would be distracting enough that he could escape. ✘ Actual Post count: 56 ✘ Effective post count: 49 ▄ ▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄ ▄ OOC: Now I need a matador costume for Henryk...

Chloris was not naive, she had a feeling that she might get ambushed at some point by the second little Ursa. She just hoped she could wound the first wild beast. The trident struck true! She was pleased, though it was short-lived as the Ursa Minor tried to swat at her trident with great strength. Using quick thinking as she was knocked off her balance, the petite young woman rolled into the fall. Swiftly, the blue-haired female rose in a kneeling position, raised her trident and attempted to strike at its rib cage.
Focused on her fight and surviving, her mossy-green eyes did not miss the flash streaked through her peripheral from behind."Thank heavens,"She mumbled as she thanked her teammates for taking on the others. The petite young woman would then smile and look to her opponent."You're mine,"Chloris told it as she would jab once more. Hit or miss, she would attempt to jump back so she could be behind the creature.

Ella Fletcher "Would you like to go for a swim?"
Ella looked at the group, they all seemed to potentially be able to move now with assistance. She looked to one of the group who evidently understood that they could no longer stay here, she then felt the male merchant's hand rest on her shoulder, wanting to offer help. Ella looked towards the direction where her team were, she was desperate to help them however understood that she would possibly be more of a liability than help, besides, she wanted to protect those in the group that couldn't protect herself.
Smiling to the merchant, Ella tilted her head. "Well, we need to find a way out for you all that avoids running into too many Grimm.." she said, looking at them all. "If you are all able to stand and move, let's begin our move towards safety.." she said, a confident look on her face. "I won't let anything happen to you, please trust me" she added, hoping she could calm the nerves of those who were scared and bolster those that wanted to help and move.
She stood at the front of the group, as she looked towards the cave entrance. "If that's the only way out, we will go... my team and I will protect you.." she said, looking towards the light she could hear the cries from the Grimm on the outside.
