XXXPeople watching was a bittersweet pass time for Maria. On the plus side, it was relaxing; just sitting back, watching as unique people of all walks of life went about their business either by themselves or friends alike. It was a hobby she was forced to take up, simply because she couldn't be one of those people anymore. While it could be calming, it always left a pang of sadness because it wasn't her. Not one person out on that beach knew how lucky they were; to be able to curl their toes in the sand on their own and feel it's warmth. Even the smallest satisfaction, robbed away for no purpose. Solely because the world was cruel; but, she would still smile. That's just how things were meant to be, it seemed. So, with the aid of Prism they would push on through the sands. For but a moment, the wheelchair seemed to have complexity guiding through the loose terrain. There had to be a setting for this.. There was always a setting for this elaborate chair! Slow and weak taps try pressing the variety of keys on her controller, before one cybernetic finger comes down. "If I may, I believe it's the brown button with a sand dune." Tapping to be sure, the wheels would instantly begin an expansion process that covered more surface area, making it much easier to transit. The woman still found it hard to believe that she didn't have a full grasp of this chair's functionality; but then again, she had never taken it to a sandy terrain. So, whatever; she'd smile up at Prism in appreciation, resting her hands once more.
In her transit along the beach, she began to drift into a day dream. Entering her own little world, that reality would begin to blend with the present. Eyes gazing at the groups that had begun activities; getting food, hitting the water, surfing. In between all the activities, she'd glance over a team that wasn't actually there; her former team, the last time she attended Beacon years ago. It was a silly thought, since they never actually went to the beach, but a day dream is just that: a dream. What would they have done? First, they would've gotten food; man could they eat. Maria's own wallet often ached at the cost of her team, but it was always worth it. Piles and piles of food, she never understood where it all went. Perhaps they were just so active, it was the only think that kept the fire going. Next .. She'd probably throw one of them in the water, off the boardwalk before being tackled in herself. They were always reckless, but that always made it more fun. That's probably where they would spend the rest of the day, out at see getting scorched by the sun and sand in uncomfortable places. The water did sound nice, as well. Cascading waves crashing on the beach, pulling back with the fizzle of foam and mist offering a cool refreshment from the warm sun. A tear would run down her cheek at the thought of such a time that could've been.
That's when she heard shouting and flailing as splashes broke in the sounds of waves. Blinking and tuning back into reality, she noticed her right at the coastline, just a step away from the waves reaching her, but feeling that same cool mist. "Prism.. When did we.." She didn't have it in her to sign, and tried to force her voice only to be drowned out by the waves. Out in the water in front of her were three girls, one pulling the other two with her into the water, and one particularly small girl flailing and shouting about the water. The sight not only brought a small smile to her face, but a light giggle at the sight. What she wouldn't give to be in that same girl's position, in the water with friends. Though right now, Maria defined 'not being able to swim.' Glancing up towards Prism, she'd begin to sign. 'Why are we here?' For a moment, the machine began to hum before turning up with an answer. "Well, Maria. I've tried asking you where you wanted to go multiple times now. You never answered, but continued to stare out towards the sea; presumably in another fantasy. So I brought you closer, and besides; you can't shy away from fellow students forever, you're one of them now." Perhaps Prism had a point; the entire purpose of this beach trip was probably to relax and get a chance to bond with one another. Sure, she wasn't familiar, but maybe she should try.. "Would you like to get your feet wet, Maria?" Looking longingly at the water, and those heading into it, she'd sigh. 'I don't know..'
"EY!" Feng barked as she tossed a sand clod at the head of her pink haired companion "Speak up! It's the beach, let loose and have fun!" The tiny terror grinned at her timid teammate, it hadn't been long since she'd gotten here but at the very least she'd been able to loosen up some and stop physically assaulting people....as much....she never really stopped but she wasn't as abusive at least. "Come!" she grabbed the hands of her team and dragged them toward the smell of food "The one with the chest of a cow is making food and I will not be kicked out of line by those bigger than me again! You will hold the line and I will fight off those that will take out place!" she turned and pointed at Tessa's sand construction of a bungalow where she was cooking with the intensity of a full crew on her own and fixed Daenerys with an 'I want' pout
The mood of joy, of happiness, and of silliness was immediately cut short with the arrival of Scylla as Cecil's smile merely vanished when she approached him and Ridley and began to speak about him being an Edge Load... 'Edge Load? What was that?' Cecil pondered for a second as it seemed to be a bit of a compliment seeing as how he had a variety of different ways to summon up weapon-edges. Then it turned into insults about him freezing his own body parts and his brain. He remained silent as she began to talk about Ridley, he continued to remain silent as Scylla began to walk away to talk to Onyxia and the others. At this point, Cecil set down two of his three ice bags, namely the ones from his shoulders before he threw the one on his head up. He took a few steps forward before leaping into the air. He summoned up more strength and slammed his hand against the mid-air ice bag, sending it buffeting through the air towards Scylla, Tethys, and Lethe. If anything it would be like annoying hail, at worst it'd be the big chunks of ice that would hit one of the three like a volley-ball if they did not avoid it. Once he had landed, he would immediately shout. "Get off your DAMN HIGH HORSE!"

Nemesis Scorpioxxxxxx. ➥₮hẻ Ṫriḅẻ
Nemesis came out when Narx called and waved. Technically she was in a disguise but she only had to do one thing to show him who she really was. "Hello there. Well this is a bit of a disguise too but......" She twirled around putting a hand up to her eyes and when she stopped back in front of him, the eyes were the exact same color and pattern as Camilla's. Her eyes were simply too unique to happen to be on someone else. Nemesis actually giggled for the first time in who knows how many years. "It's been me the entire time, there never was any proxy and the name was just a fake as well. In truth, any other appearance is a disguise. I've been a "student" the entire time. What better way to fool the headmaster and move around without being noticed. I had to operate like this to be sure that I could trust you." Now that there a closer inspection of Nemesis's body without anything covering it really there was something very distinct about it. There were scars all over her body.
Nemesis's body was covered with scars everywhere. They were faint but they were noticable when one was close. To have that many must have meant some daily physical abuse. There was no way that they were all caused by battles. The only part that didn't have any scars was her face, which was odd considering. "So then you aren't dissapointed are you? I haven't actually got a chance to explain my semblence to you and what exactly the curse mark does. You havent used it yet which is a problem. If you want to get stronger and not have what happen in the tower happen again you'll need to use my gift." She put her hand over her eyes again and they went back to the red when she lowered them. Now Narx knew and she could begin turning him to her way of thinking.
Danaë would look up at Narx. She was laying down as he was standing. He offered to get them some food before he kicked a** in the volley ball game. "You know, if you need another player, I can help?" She would state before he said he had to run to the bath room. It was weird, he went to the bathroom as if a kid was going to an amusement park. She was tempted to follow him, but when she got up, and went to move, she would fall back down. The heat already starting to get to her. Maybe she shouldn't have come to the beach...
She would scream towards him "Icecream, and icepacks" She laid back down, getting dizzy from standing up. Damn feathers.
She excused herself from Eira and Momo, going back to pick up some food from Tess, but not before stopping to grab an ice cream to hand it to her. Once she made it to the chef, Hizami turned towards the restroom, only to see someone she had been looking for,
“ Narx!”
She called out, her eyes full of excitement and happiness to see him. She ran over, giving him a warm smile. She looked back at Danae, who was chilling out, and back to Narx, then at the person behind him... Lowering her eyes, a bit of her excitement left her, and she grew a bit nervous. Taking the plate of food, Hizami nudged his arm,
“ Long time no see! Hey… I need to tell you something…privately. Want some ice cream?”
She offered, pointing back at her cooler. As they walked back to it, she kept their pace slow, so she could get more time to let out what she had to say. Hizami bit her lip, taking glances at him now and then,
“I um…. I know we met not too long ago…but um…”
‘Please…’
She began, her cheeks flaring pink. She had to do this, she had to. It was nagging at her how she never really pushed for it, her own insecurities making her stand back. Not to mention the rivalry; it made her nervous and scared. Her hands clenched on her plate a bit harder, almost practically shaking from being so nervous.
“ I-I… I really like you… You’re just…so kind and considerate. I love the way you joke, and how clumsy you are sometimes… H-How you often stare into the distance and forget…b-but I love who you are, as a person. You persevere, and care for others even when you know it may be dangerous for you to do so…”
‘Please…’
She began, looking down at her food. A simple burger, nothing more, nothing less. With fries. It made her feel weird to say such things, but she honestly felt that way. Perhaps after caring for him, she grew attached, and often watched over him after his injuries. At school, her eyes would linger from afar. Every time she would see him across the hallway, she would slow her pace and watch him. She often wondered if he was doing okay, or if he was in any pain. Was he eating alright, and if he had any more problems with the mark on his neck. She worried about him even when she was no longer his nurse; she cared. During those two months, she wanted to go to him, and be with him…but she always saw Danae near…and it made it so hard for her to even make a move. She was afraid of embarrassment, thinking how could someone like her even think about approaching him. During those two months she started to develop something, she wasn’t aware until a few weeks ago, when she heard rumors that he and her may be dating, but nothing was confirmed. Her heart dropped, and her stomach sank. She hoped, she really hoped, that it wasn’t true. She was wishing on all the stars that she could have this one wish, for she never asked for anything. She wanted just this, just this thing, to not be true, and for her to be given a chance…just one. If not now, she won’t be able to ever have this opportunity again… With this in mind, Hizami mustered up every ounce of courage that existed in her body to ask him the next question, as if she was laying out her life. In a way, she was, she was laying out her heart, pouring it for him.
“ S-So I was wondering if…if we could…go…out?”
‘… I beg of you… Please…’
She managed, stopping at her cooler, bending down to open it, taking out a frozen treat, placing her food on the beach towel. She looked up at him with hopeful eyes, holding the snack. Her heartbeat was loud, she was scared he could hear it. Hizami took in a deep breathe, almost holding it, wishing as hard as one person could, over and over again in her head, like a prayer for redemption, for purpose, for anything, for everything she was praying to happen to happen.

He waved back at his feathered friend to let her know that he had heard her."Icecream and icepacks it is!"She must be terribly hot in her feathers. He couldn't even imagine. He was fortunate to be hairless. Being human was great! He thought as he left to meet with Nemesis.
Narx stared blankly when Nemesis popped out and revealed herself. She was so much more giggly and lively in person than in his head. Though first meetings were often like this he thought. Regardless, it was good to finally meet her. He felt that she had some trust in him and he wouldn't betray it. She could be a powerful ally of course."A student this whole time? I will admit I thought you were like... a teacher or something. You just come off so strong willed. Either way, it''s a pleasure to meet you Nem!"He threw out an arm for her to shake boasted a bright cheesy smile. He was ever ready to make a new friend, though they had known each other for some time now. He wouldn't admit it, but talking to her through his mind was actually kinda nice on occasion. He never felt alone, but she wasn't constantly up in his business so it was a good balance. He did notice her body was riddled in scars, but he was more so impressed by the fact she wasn't ashamed of them. Nobody should be ashamed of that which they cannot change after all. He made a mental note to ask her later about them. She explained a bit about her semblance mark and that he needed to use it. He didn't have to ask to understand how it would be used. Giving into that dark side of him was something he had spent a lifetime trying not to do so it was difficult for him to give in, but if he wanted to utilize her gift he needed to practice."Okay, I will go to the outskirts and... practice. Its hard to focus here, but you are right I need to do this if I want to get stronger."He listened to her replies before utilizing the loo. After that he began to head back to the shaded area when she arrived.
The hot summer's air suddenly skyrocketed. Was that normal? His body's temperature began to rise. Hizami, in a full bikini approached him. What was it with her? Why did he react the way he did to her? Ever since she saved his life he coudln't control his body when around her. Every little thing that could go crazy did just that; go crazy. "H-H-Hi Hiza-Hizami!"He stuttered. He couldn't even talk right. This was so embarrassing. It was like his body was overheating at the same time as his brain started to freeze. He could barely move himself, but she guided him back to her cooler with ease. She was so good around people. She just had the strangest way about her that seemed to grip at his mind and break it.
She started out with some casual chitchat. He was trying his hardest to listen, but he felt really dizzy. His eyes were glued to hers. Every now and then he'd notice her tails, but his eyes couldn't leave hers for very long. They just sucked him in like some enchantment. Ever since she gave him blood he was like this around her.
He finally was able to focus enough to hear her ask him out. Wait. What? Wait. Wait. Wait. What?! He stood there rocking side to side dizzily. He couldn't think. He couldn't breathe. He opened his mouth, but nothing came out. He was losing conscious? No. He was awake. This wasn't a dream was it? Then his mouth started to run without thinking."I-Uh-Uh-I mean. Yea. I mean."He started to choke on his own saliva. What the hell was happening to him? His body suddenly went stiff. Goat response. Hell no."H-Hiza, is that you?"He said as he toppled over onto the cooler head first. Unconscious.

She made broken look beautiful and strong look invincible. ━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━ ━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━
The playful smirk on Ridley's face vanished the second Scylla entered the Fray. Wiped away as her eyebrows furrowed together and her fingers curled into tight little fists at her side. She didn't speak up immediately, didn't interrupt, didn't even sigh or roll her eyes. She gave Scylla the floor, letting her finish her silly rampage. Ridley simply crossed her arms over her chest, tucking her white-knuckled fists beneath her arms to hide them from view. She could feel the anger growing inside her, bubbling like lava at the brim of a volcano as Scylla went on, insulting bother her and Cecil and effectively destroying the fun and carefree atmosphere of the beach. However, she managed to keep herself in check, not even letting the emotion flicker through onto her expression. Once she had finished, Ridley blinked her golden eyes at her and said nothing. Then a small smirk cracked her blank expression and Ridley did something not even she could have expected of herself.
She laughed. A full on, hunched over, gasping for breath laugh.
"Are you kidding me?" She asked, straining through fits of giggles. "You think I'm hotheaded? You think I'm the one with no control? What sort of demented reality are you living in?" Another laugh ripped almost painfully from her lungs, causing her eyes to water slightly with the effort. "Wow Scylla, I didn't realize you were so funny. Ever think about becoming a comedian rather than a huntress. I think it might suit you better. I can hardly breathe." She mustered the words out breathless, hands clamping down on her now cramping stomach. After a moment she sucked in a huge gasp of air, working to regain her composure. Straightening herself out, she wiped the laughter-brought tears from her eyes with a slick of her hand. Then she returned her amber gaze to Scylla, the golden orbs burning with intensity. When she spoke it was clear, concise, and calm. Scary calm for Ridley. "Remind me, Scylla... who was it that almost refused to go on the mission because things didn't go her way? Because I had the audacity to defend myself and my teammates?" She raised her eyebrow at the girl, but didn't giver her time to interject. "Who was it that lost control in the most dire of situations? When more than anything else it was important to remain calm and rational?" She took a step towards the girl, not threatening, not angry. She was past that point. There was no signs of the usual trembles, flushed cheeks, or clenched fists. For anyone who knew Ridley well, it would be almost baffling. For anyone else, simply intimidating.
"And in that moment of lapsed control, who was it that not only hurt and inhibited the members of her team, but worsened the medical state of two others she was supposed to be working with?" She questioned again, referring back to her banshee scream in the cave and the hacking of the beam that had been pinning herself and Cecil. "And, remind me again, who was it who just up and quit, abandoned her mission as well as her team when things weren't going her way?" Raising her hand to her chin, she stroked her chin in a thoughtful manner, as if trying to think back on it all. It lasted bu a moment before her hand dropped back to her side and Ridley continued on before Scylla could get the chance to chime in. "Now, correct me if I'm wrong... but I believe that was you. Not me. You were the one who lost her temper. You were the one that lost control. You were the one who had no control over your emotions. You were the one that acted like a child."
Ridley was silent for a moment, her piercing golden eyes never leaving Scylla's. She let the words sink in for a moment before continuing. Crossing her arms back over her chest as she could feel the steady calmness slowly starting to crumble. It was more than just anger eating away at the composure, but she refused to let the emotions shine though now. She was so close. The trembling was returning t her fingers, but she kept her arms clasped tightly around her to hide it from anyone onlooking. "What you did, Scylla, was despicable. You were selfish and cowardly. You abandoned the people that were counting on you. You let down your team, your school, and beyond that, Vale. Because, guess what? If you haven't caught the memo, we came to this school to be huntresses. To learn how to protect the rest of the people of this world, even if that means putting our lives on the line. Even if it brings pain, torment, or death." Her voice was softer now, yet none less intense. Her gaze was hard, unyielding. "You were not brave. You were not strong. You were not fit to be a huntress. You're a coward who cares only for yourself. Now if you don't mind, I came here to enjoy myself. So leave me the hell alone."
Ridley didn't hesitate at that point. She could feel herself cracking and she wasn't wasn't going to give the brat the satisfaction of seeing it. With that she turned on her heel, bare feet squishing into the sand as she walked away. She wanted to stomp, march, run, anything to get away, but she forced herself to continue at a steady pace. She glanced over her shoulder when she heard Cecil's exclamation, turning just in time to see the ice cascade down on the three of them. A small smile tugged at her lips but it wasn't enough to hide the exhausted and almost broken look in her eyes. Turning around before Scylla could see, she continued on her way, walking several feet down the beach. Once she found a place that was fairly secluded and far enough from Scylla that she didn't have to risk spontaneous combustion, she almost collapsed into the sand, sitting cross legged so that the cool waves ticked her toes and licked at her legs. She sat quietly for several moments, picking up a shell and running it over in her fingers over and over again, focusing on its pale swirling colors in a failed attempt to get her mind to focus on something else.
"What does she know anyway?" She murmured out loud, just below an audible whisper. Sure, Ridley was hotheaded sometimes, but she had reasons to be. She had reasons to be angry, upset, irrational. There were reasons she was the way that she was. Reasons someone like Scylla would ever understand. A small breath of air passed her lips as she rest the sea shell on one of her knees, her fingers now brushing over one of the ragged scars on her wrist. Still, feeling everything much too deeply, anger included, was better than when she'd felt nothing at all. She'd rather have no control over her emotions than a vast emptiness of darkness. She'd rather feel pain than nothing that all... and if that made her a little high-tempered, what did it matter? She at least had the ability to keep her anger in check when it mattered.
Sighing one more, she fell back against the soft sand, staring up at the bright blue sky. She needed a moment, but if no one came after her she would return to her team eventually. Once her heart stopped pounding in her chest maybe.
━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━ ━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━ She walked with the universe on her shoulders and made it look like a pair of wings.
When she showed up Momo let out a soft squeak. Eira thought to herself that Momo must think she is sneaking up on her all the time. Then again if she thought back on it Momo hasn't once accused her of sneaking up on her in the last two months. Maybe it is just part of her nature to be surprised by anyone that comes up and talks to her from any direction that isn't a direct to her face direction. After a second of consideration Eira decided that Momo might squeak in surprise at even that. She just really, really wasn't good at dealing with others. Eira giggled softly at Momo's grumbling. She didn't pat or pet or in general do any of this with the intention to treat the faunus girl like a child. She just loved doing it. It was an instinct for Eira almost, like the need to pet a cute kitten or puppy! Of course she wouldn't tell Momo that pouting like that as adorable as it is actually makes her truly look like a little kid.
Eira considered Momo's response for a moment. It was far from what she was hoping to get. 'Guess her fears are deep rooted...' Eira sighed. In the right circumstances Momo would literally be afraid of her own shadow. Of course calming her down wouldn't be that easy. Just before she could make any return reply a weird whooshing noise could be heard and there was suddenly shade and excitement, or noise if you wanted to just call it that, in the form of their team leader. Hizami was there having just put up a giant beach umbrella, that seems to be based around some kind of modification to her lance, and then she was not there. Eira blinked and looked around, spotting her a distance away near where a call for food had been made. Hizami seemed to be engrossed in just releasing a burst of enthusiasm at the girl there. Since she had took off so fast Eira stood up and put her own bag down next tot the cooler Hizami had brought. The bag clunked with plastic noises as it settled. Eira paid it no mind instead checking out the recent modifications made to Hizami's lance. And of course then checking out the cooler she brought.
Eira was right in the middle of opening it up and taking a peek at its contents when their leader came back. Like a tornado she just picked them both up and carried them away. Eira Much like Momo Eira actually put up a little bit of a fight. "But.. Ice cream!" She called out. Having had just enough time to pick out the ice cream in the cooler before she was pulled away from it and the cooler lid slammed shut just outside her grasp. The cooler shrinking into the distance as they were hauled off. Well it really wasn't that much of a distance. Eira gave up her struggle soon enough since getting wet really didn't sound that bad either. Momo on the other hand was not giving up on her resistance to going into the water. In her case it was just futile. Eira pulled the beach towel off her shoulder and reached over to pull Momo's off her body, undoubtedly fully exposing the other's swim suit which she had been trying to hide behind the towel. Eira had to work fast to ball them up and chuck them hard. They of course unraveled but they only landed about 5 feet short of the shade perimeter their beach umbrella had established. It was good enough and just in time to keep them from getting soaked as Hizami plowed into the sea with them both in tow.
As Hizami came to a stop Eira let herself fall down into the water. She let her head go under and then a second later popped back out. She stood up and shook some of the excess water from her hair. Now that she had taken care of the first dive she was ready to swim. She turned her head towards Hizami and fired a quick, "I'm sure you could if you tried hard enough, but I doubt it would be very long lasting in this sun and heat. Plus freezing water isn't as nice to swim in as this balance between refreshingly cool and pleasantly warm water." Eira was an optimist through and through but in this group she often seemed to be the realist as well sometimes. Unsure if Hizami even heard her she followed the other girl's gaze until she found the surfers. 'Wonder if the boss wants to try that?' Eira couldn't help with that though. She had never been surfing before. She knew a little but that was the extent of her experience in the matter. If Hizami wanted to try it out she would have to wait since just as fast as she had come back and pulled Momo and her out here she excused herself and went back to the beach. Looked like she was back to the food stall. "And I thought I was energetic..." Eira whispered to herself. She then turned to look at Momo. She reached over and grabbed Momo's inner tube as a large wave came in. She held on to keep the other girl from drifting away even though her feet were probably still touching bottom it was better to be safe than sorry. "On the bright side it hasn't eaten you, right, Momo? She might be off for a while so what should we do? Just float about for a bit perhaps..." She commented with a grin.

She was about to hand him the ice cream, her hand holding his in a way he was about to receive something. She felt how hot he was, and she looked back up at him. She was still waiting for his answer, and when it came, her heart skipped a beat. There was no way she heard right!! Hizami smiles brightly, squeezing his hand. She wanted to hug him and embrace him, but then he said something that concerned her:
” Hiza...is that you?”
The maiden dropped her ice cream, and tried to soften his fall. But he was so heavy!! She grunted as he fell down, landing next to him. Scampering to lay him on his back, she moved the cooler out of the way, shade covering Narx’s body. Hizami knew his heart was still pumping just by touching his neck, but when she put her ear next to his mouth and nose, he wasn’t breathing. Almost immediately, her instincts kicked in, and her medical training came into play. She started to perform CPR, performing the compressions, and, if to the dismay of some people, administer mouth to mouth.
” How...are you...going to faint...after I asked?!”
She huffed, stopping when she heard him take in a breath. Hizami say back, groaning. She had a small panic attack, actually concerned something happened to him. Reaching into the cooler, she took out a small pack of ice, and placed it on his stomach. It should pull the heat from his head, cooling him off.
Adam noticed Cecil preparing the ice barrage as he looked at the blue sky admiring it. He saw that it wouldn't hit Onyxia, Azura or him, but Scyalla and her two friends. He was about to push them out of the way but he then remember what happened the last time he touched Scylla. His jaw remembers it most. He inched out of the range of the attack and swam in the water a bit more. He then saw Ridley walk away from their set up spot to a semi-secluded area down the beach a few feet away. He swam down to her seeing that she looked troubled. "Hey." he said backstroking a past her. "Yo." he said trying to get her attention this time doing the breaststroke. "Over here!" he beckoned kicking his legs on his back. Eventually, he let the tide wash him ashore like the seashell she was holding. "Sup!" he smiled hopefully dragging her out of her thoughts. "I thought yo order was to have fun and enjoy ourselves. Too big-headed to listen to yourself?" he smiled. Since Adam had a heart to heart with Ridley, he made sure that if she was ever feeling down or looked like she had something on her mind he would be there for her. Just like he would for the rest of Team DARK after they took him in. He held out his forefinger as if he were a teacher giving a lecture. "Now, Ms. Delmhorst, I strongly recommend you practice what you preach otherwise your team with follow suit." he jokingly scolded. He laid there between the ocean and beach silent for a moment. Water rushing in and out of his ears as the tide met the shore. "Wanna talk about it, Ms. Rid. I'm a great listener." he said. {OOC:}

Nemesis Scorpioxxxxxx. ➥₮hẻ Ṫriḅẻ
Nemesis had to wonder if Narx even realized what she had just said. She could tell he at least noticed her scars. She had been surprised at her giggle, to be honest, but it was most likely due to everything fitting into place. "Good, when you fully mastered level 1 I will help you achieve level 2. Then you'll never be weak again. I'll see you around, things to do after all." With that Narx would leave and Nemesis would watch. She was just curious as to where he would go. Back to Danae or somewhere else. It was interesting watching him and seeing his decisions. It was then that she noticed her teammate approaching him. She wasn't stupid and that looked like a love confession alright. An idea popped into her head from that and she watched getting closer. She was hiding her movements so she could get close enough to hear and that was when she heard Narx say yes. She almost laughed out loud because it was so easy.
Nemesis then watched as Narx fainted, a side effect she would have to try and remove from him. But this left her with an opportunity to cause some havoc. She approached Hizami doing CPR and spoke. "Hey Hizami, don't mind the makeover. It's me, Camilla. I happened to be walking by after talking to Narx a little bit ago. I kinda overheard him say yes to you asking him out. Congratulations but I need to give you a warning and I want to offer my help. Narx will be fine he just faints sometimes." She walked closer to them and looked at Hizami. She got close as to whisper as if it was some big secret. This was going to be perfect. The best part was that Narx wasn't going to hear her because he fainted and she whispered it to be sure. She could not wait to see the resloution of this. "You know that girl he hangs out with, Danae? She's a bad influence on him and is super jealous. She just attacked me once for talking to him. She is going to try and steal him from you and maybe even get her friends to gang up on you like she tried to do to me. I think that shouldn't happen so I'm going to help you out with a gift. My semblence can help you be stronger and more confident so Danae can't beat you up or scare you off. Let me help you as a girl to girl."
She made broken look beautiful and strong look invincible. ━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━ ━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━
Ridley wasn't sure how long she stared up at the sky, watching the fluffy wisps of white gently float across it's blue depths. She listened the the waves crashing gently on the sand, the foamy sea bubbles hissing as the popped in the afternoon suns. The water lapped around her feet and her legs. Every now and then a wave was audacious enough to whip up over her torso, dampening the black fabric of her swimsuit and wetting the ends of her dark locks. It was all very soothing, relaxing. The sounds of the ocean, the breeze, and laughing students in the distance bumping together in a strangely tangible lullaby. She let her eyes close after a while and the residing anger slowly ebbed away, disappearing like the tides. She wasn't sure if what she was left with was better or worse.
The anger was like a defensive mechanism. It defended the most vulnerable parts of her. It kept unwanted eyes from peering inside. Kept her from seeing the torn, fragmented, shattered pieces that she'd been trying to piece together for all these years. It protected her from feeling all the underlying feelings. The despair, the guilt, the pain... the torment. That's what was left when the anger subsided. Bubbling and boiling together in the pits of her stomach, creating a concoction to thick and toxic the fumes were hazardous. It made her stomach churn in a strange yet familiar way. The familiar sensation of nausea burning at the back of her throat. It was times like this that she felt as if her chest had been torn violently open once more, revealing the gaping hole where her heart should be. Not to say she didn't have a heart. It was there, beating and throbbing, just pained and tortured.
Her mind kept trying to drift to far off places, creeping down dark allies she would have much rather not venture down. Thoughts of her mother, thoughts of her father... Thoughts of Ayven whose tiny form was so easy to picture here on the beach. Her fingers once again subconsciously stroked the shell resting upon her knee. Her younger sister would have loved it. Cherished it forever like it was a precious gem and not just the previous home of some squishy little sea creature. Thoughts of Ayven brought thoughts of Tobias. Her brother who was very much alive yet she hadn't the slightest clue where he was or what he was doing. She hadn't spoken to him in years. Not since he left and never returned. A part of her couldn't help but partially blame him for what had happened to Ayven... for what happened to her. He knew the path their father had been stumbling down... yet he chose to turn a blind eye. It was the thoughts of her father that got to her the most. Those were the thoughts the made her skin crawl and the bile rise in the back of her throat. Those were the ones that brought the panic resurfacing all over again and tore open all the scars, carving them out all over again. New and fresh.
It was Adam's voice that pulled her away from the road her mind was travelling down, and he couldn't have arrived at a better time. She sat up slowly, watching as he swam back and forth in front of her, calling out to her and changing his stroke each time. She tried to smile, but the expression was forced and tired and more of a half-hearted grimace than anything else. At his comment about her being too big headed for her own orders, a faint flicker of a smirk danced across her lips for just a moment. "Well.. yeah, that's plausible." She stated, joking lightly. A small hiss of air passed her lips. Something that might have been a laugh but it was hard to tell. However, with Adam around the gloominess could only last so long. He had a knack for cheering her up and the fact that he knew things of her past that no one else did, as did she... well that helped too. It made her feel lighter in away. "Oh you know me," She started, her lips finally pulling back into that familiar smirk of hers. "I'm a rule breaker." She teased, winking playfully at him before letting out a soft laugh.
When he asked her if she wanted to talk about it, she let out a soft say, staring out at the horizon like she was debating whether she should say anything or not. After a moment she turned to look at him, matching his gaze with her golden eyes. "You're an incredible listening, Adam... and I really appreciate it." She told him sincerely though she still seemed unsure of whether or not she was going to open up. A part of her wanted to, but there were many things holding her back The one at the front of her mind being that this was suppose to be a day of fun for her team and she didn't want to weigh it down with the torments of her mind. "Can I ask you something?" She questioned after a moment, waiting for his approval before going ahead with it. "What would you do... if I did this?" She asked, while simultaneously kicking the water up to splash him. Not that it mattered, he was already soaked, but it made her laugh all the same. "Really though... I hope I didn't ruin anything for you guys with my showdown with, Scylla."
━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━ ━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━ She walked with the universe on her shoulders and made it look like a pair of wings.
Ella was lost in her book, the story and characters felt like they were almost real. Looking at her from a distance you could tell that she was engrossed. When a young man approached her, she was totally oblivious to anything around her, and was lucky that she was the target of anything malicious.
As the young man got closer, she never thought anything of it. 'Hi!' he shouted, which made Ella jump physically on her chair and gasp as she got such a fright. She instantly dropped her book on the ground, and didn't know what to do with herself. Looking right at the young man, she was in disbelief at how much of a fright she got, and at the fact he wanted to talk to her. She cleared her throat and pulled herself together, not really giving the man eye contact as she was pretty terrified of men - an issue she had that she needed to fix.
"You-" she said, quickly turning around to make sure he was definitely talking to her. When she realised he was, she attempted to look calm and normal, just like her brother would tell her. "Of course you can sit, is that chair okay?" she said, gesturing to the one across from her. Inside Ella was having a little panic, she couldn't believe this was happening. She looked at the ice cream he had brought, and place her hand out to accept the generous gift. "Thank you, that's very generous of you.." she said. Totally forgetting about her prized possession on the ground, her book.

Lunia Alexandria Yatomura "I'll make you all proud of me one day.."
- - - -
Lunia laughed as Aaron continued the hilarious but dorky voice along with her and Zylah. She thought about Charlotte, and how confusing all of this would be for her - Lunia couldn't help it, she wanted everyone in the whole world to be happy, let alone her team. As she looked at her scorpion teammate, she was unaware that she had heard her whisper to Zylah. Her face went a colour of red for a brief moment as she scratched her head, it was difficult but Lunia worked as hard as she could to get Charlotte used to these interactions. She gave Aaron a look and cleared her throat, fixing her eyes on Charlotte again as she answered. "Well Char, you know... sometimes when there's a beach full of almost naked men.. sometimes, you know.. a womans eyes can gaze for a little bit too long, its just.. human nature, right Zylah?" she said, feeling slightly uncomfortable as she looked to Aaron and then away again, not really knowing where to look now.
She let the moment have a slight pause, before turning back around with her fist high in the air like some sort of hero. "Okay team! Lets get some sun protection on, and head to the water for some surfing!!?" she yelled, throwing emptying out a bag she brought that was full of beach essentials, especially sun cream.
Lunia couldn't help but let her eyes wander a little around the beach, she had never really been in this situation before, but couldn't help herself. Shaking her head, she concentrated on the task again. Lunia had very little self confidence in the way of her appearance, she thought that she wasn't attractive compared to other females on the beach and was right in thinking this. She mumbled to herself about this, and sighed. Putting on a smile again as she started to put sun cream on, "Char, you need some of this on too - don't you think about running away" she said, laughing.
