Aue V. Celsus / Mags Whatever the two officers thought of him didn't matter - Aue outranked them. Since the Negaverse was, whatever else it might be parading around as, a military-based organization he could order the two lieutenants about as he liked with a reasonable expectation that they would capitulate and follow instruction. Moreso considering his standing with Tourmaline and Uvarovite, along with his own abilities and whatever hard-won respect he'd managed to garner outside of the other connections. Aue was an arrogant ******** p***k, with reason to be. Of those present, he was one of the few with actual military training and experience.
Whatever configuration Tourma's trio decided to take on was irrelevant, as long as they fought. He was pleased to see that one of them - the big one - had decided to come and assist with the cosmos knight...and also displeased. What the everloving <********> did Cornetite think he was doing taking on that knight?!
The librarian continued to be ineffectual in word, though he did put up more of a fight than he'd seemed capable of; a blind strike from the whip had the corrupt of lemons side-stepping the lash with his body but allowing it to wrap around his bracer-protected forearm. A move that made it so that he could catch the whip and attemp to use Celsus' own momentum to send the knight flying like some sort of toy while he was still discombobulated from having magic cast directly into his face. "Politeness has no place in this War, Librarian. There will be no quarter given, no mercies beyond corruption or a quick death."
Once more, the other parts of the 'trio' were standing around. Aue whistled. "To me!"
Tiberius V. Eta A Disgrace, she said. Now wasn't that just precious? "It was easy, Dollface - I was made for this. Just like they was made for me." Tiberius chuckled as Mab's attack spun free, sickly green and glowing as it crashed heavily at the other Mauvian 1 - 2 -3! Her tailtip singed, the smell of magically burnt fur unpleasant and sharp in his sensitive nostrils...and yet Eta didn't run. No, she had spunk! She came right for him, despite his being a heavyweight champ and her barely qualifying as a lightweight contender.
Don't let it be said I back down from a fight, even against a dame-- Tiberius bared his fangs, hissing right back at the silver tabby and allowing his fur to fluff up further as he moved all two and twenty pounds of Chaotic Mauvian glory greatness to meet his Order counterpart's angry charge.
He could hear Mab's delighted laughter, could feel when one of the order folks...powered...sideways?? Felt the surge of bright bullshit that meant someone had pulled that Transcendence ********. It was distracting, but not so much that he didn't slam bodily into Eta, using the sheer heft of his size to bowl the smaller Mauvian over, claws raking out; her fur was plush and dense, but not nearly as thick or long as his - it was easier to strike solid flesh.
Growling rose as the two cats twisted together; Tiberius' size hindered his ability to whip around and reach Eta - being smaller meant she could dart in and out more quickly, but his fluff and heft meant he took a lot less damage. Truly an insane looking cat fight, a roiling ball of silver stripe and cinnamon blur from which a noise rose that could have awoken the dead.
Mab [Nitratine, Tibs] V. Eta Okay, so...maybe they should be attacking someone else. Nitratine had a good point - kind of. Sure, he had magic, but Nitratine only had that silly apple...and anyway, now the two cats were like, rolling around in a ball of flying fur and shrieks. It was the sort of thing you either got a bucket of water to throw on, or whipped your phone out to record so you could upload onto Youtube. "Well, I mean. Kicking a Mauvian's not the worst idea darling." Mab put a hand on his hip, blinking a bit at the two fighting felines.
"Throw your apple in that and see what happens, would yo--" A piercing whistle cut across the battle and jerked Mab's attention around; it was obviously a sound he was used to and the corrupt's eyes sought out the sour b*****d quickly even as he muttered something unpleasant under his breath. What did the big b*****d want now? A ******** parade?
Cornetite had gone to Aue and the knights. The big ones. Oh. Welp, he had one more casting, so...why not give his Halsey a hand? Tiberius didn't need it, after all! "Mystic Spindle~" Mag Mell was going to get a really nasty surprise headed his way, oops!
xSkye Starrfyre
Mystic Spindle Three (3) large-sized glowing spindles form from swirling green-and-black magic before flying at the enemy; the attack feels like a solid punch wherever it strikes and can potentially knock back the opponent.
Further damage as ‘flavor’ text is possible per player wishes: tearing, shredding, scarring, etc. - at worst it's like having a non-critical body part caught in an small explosion's shrapnel.
Per BSSM canon, this attack can be used two (2) times per battle

Corvus w/ Arsinoe V. Uvarovite / Pet
Corvus felt a hand on her wrist and almost yanked away from it, eyes bright and wild as she cast a quick glance at the source-- her cousin, she was safe-- before returning her gaze to the Captain and his creature. Swirls of color gleamed on her skin beneath Arsinoe's gloved hand, her entire being rippling with power begging to be released.
"This ends now." Her eyes narrowed at the Captain as she placed a hand in reassurance on Arsinoe's arm. Energy thrummed through her, egging her on to taunt the Negaverse agent before releasing her magic at him one last time. "You tried once, you acted too slow and you won't get to try again.... Murder of Vengeance."
Grymoire
Attack #2 - Murder of Vengeance! [Once activated a shadow rises up behind Sailor Corvus. It bursts into a murder (flock) of shadowy crows which are then under Corvus's command for the duration of one round. On her command the crows will close in on their targets as a unit with beating wings, scratching talons and pecking beaks.
As they depart they leave behind a feeling of cold dread, as though vengeance has not finished and will return for its opponent again.]
Duration: Two posts from Corvus: Summon/Command [1], Second Command [2]. Murder will dissolve into stardust at the start of the third post. Can only be cast once per battle, generally as a last resort. Avoidable: If the enemy is fast on their feet, yes! A weaker enemy is unlikely to be able to avoid the attack, leaving them to be pecked apart. AOE: Up to three opponents within 30ft radius per attack. If attacking multiple opponents they must be within 5ft of one another to maximize effectiveness. Uses: 1 -- Generally used as a last resort/finishing attack in addition to other attacks dealt (either just by Corvus, or by Corvus and whatever team she may have joined by then). A 'coup de grâce', so to speak.
Tourmaline w/ Kaz V. Arachne
Tourmaline's greatest failing as a Negaverse agent was letting her emotions get the best of her. While she was able to focus on the fight at hand, her ability to do so with a clear head became impaired the moment she heard pet roar and Uvarovite bellow 'stupid b***h'. The distraction was not enough to draw her attention entirely away from the Senshi of Spiders, but it was enough that she did not see him summon his magic to craft his spell. She somehow missed the spider creeping towards her until it was too late, ethereal fangs sinking into the only exposed area of skin on her thigh.
"Is that it? Is that all you have?" she snapped, flashing teeth at the Senshi in a wicked grin. She could deal with a bite, had felt so much worse at the hands of other senshi on the field. It was nothing at all. It...
It began to sting around the wound as he venom started to sink in. That alone should have slowed her down, but she couldn't afford to back down just yet. They were too far spread out, they should have had the advantage, and yet...
"Kaz. Go to Uvarovite. He needs you more than I do right now." A truthful statement at the moment, but for how long?
Even if it hadn't been for the magical enhancements brought about by being a Negaverse agent Mag Mell was certain that the blue Lieutenant's punch would have packed a hard hit. The man had to be somewhere around his age, if not a bit older, well muscled and looking like he was ready for a fight. He should have seen it coming. He should have been more prepared to defend against it.
The Cosmos Knight stumbled back, reeling from the blow. He had only seconds to process the strike followed by the sound of Arsinoe screaming across the battlefield. His heart leaped into his throat and then crashed into his stomach, his immediate thought to rush to Arsinoe's side. He knew better, though. If he rushed away from what he was doing, from where he was, he left Celsus at the mercy of two corrupts and two lieutenants. He couldn't -- wouldn't -- do that. He had to believe that Corvus and Arsinoe were alright, no matter what he heard, no matter what his mind was telling him after hearing that scream.
Mag Mell brought two fingers to his signet ring, regaining his calm as he focused on the symbol on his ring, drawing on the power of Cosmos to enable the aspect. It coated him in a silver sheen, drawing a sense of satisfaction as the Lieutenant came at him again only to draw back with a hiss.
The satisfaction didn't last long enough. None of the moments of having the upper hand that their team seemed to have did, truth be told. Order worked better together and the Negaverse team had done well to separate them. Divided they were in trouble. Divided they were susceptible to the kind of attacks that were currently flying his way courtesy of the Senshi of Green Spikes. Each spike hit it's mark, shoving the Cosmos Knight's shoulder back with one, slamming into his thigh with another and catching him in the gut with the last.
Were they of an equal power level, Mag Mell was certain he would have been knocked to the ground. As it was, the attack disoriented him, distracting him from the closeness of the black and blue Lieutenant. "Son of a--" The effects of Cosmos faded as he drew one of his cards, channeling magic into his weapon before tossing it down at the senshi's (Mab's) feet.
Aspect of Cosmos The silvery sheen of starlight covers the Knights of the Cosmos, and their touch is just as heavenly. It's warm and pleasant to most, but acidic and painful to corrupted beings. For the followers of Chaos, physical contact with one of these Knights feels like a mild chemical burn: although it does little in the way of damage, it's hard to tolerate it.
Magic Reminder: Magic - Supernova! Mag Mell focuses on channeling his magic through his weapon [either one card held out in front of him, or a card that has been thrown/stuck to an inanimate object]. The card shines with a bright, white light that intensifies the longer Mag Mell holds his focus. If channeled in short bursts a flickering light effect can be used as a diversionary tactic. At Knight stage immediately following the charge of light (anywhere from 10 seconds up to the full 50) a small burst of energy expels from the card. The amount of magic focused determines the strength of the burst (anything from a small shove at 10 seconds to a knockback at 50 seconds). This round - 10 seconds
Cornetite [Mab] V. Mag Mell
The whistle from the Senshi of Lemons was sharp and shrill; a rally call to those he was used to instructing. The corrupt senshi were likely to pay it more mind-- Mab, Lalande, Cursa. They had trained with Aue the most, were more familiar with the nuances of his command. Granted, Tourmaline had made certain that Aue spent time with her officers as well and he knew it meant to come to heel, or at the very least be useful.
Cornetite convinced himself that the whistle was meant to draw the attention of Mab and Nitratine. When Mab joined him against the Cosmos Knight he remained certain of that fact, satisfied that he hadn't been the one to need reprimanding this time.
His satisfaction was short-lived, his next attempt at closing in on the Knight met with a burning sensation tingling through his glove and irritating the skin beneath. There was so much about knights that he did not understand; each of them different, each of them seeming to control a different type of magic. This was what he would have been had Tourmaline not abducted him and brought him to Axinite?
Funny, Cornetite hadn't thought he would ever be grateful for that, but he was.
When the Knight through another card he brought his hand up to shield his eyes, cursing before lunging forward at the glittery ******** again. "On me, a*****e. Leave Mab out of this."

Eta V. Tibs
There was no way that Eta was making it out of her fight against Tiberius unscathed. She had thrown herself full force into the fray and there was most definitely a trip to the vet in her future, assuming she and the others survived this. Things weren't looking good. While they weren't outnumbered their forces had been divided and that was never a good thing when it came to fights against the Negaverse. Senshi were stronger together, better in teams... In courts.
As she was rolled onto her back she kicked at Tibs with her hind feet, claws raking through layers of thick fur in an attempt to do what damage she could-- which wasn't much, all things considered. There was no way at all that Eta was going to win this cat fight.
Eta needed to stop thinking like a cat and start thinking like a Mauvian.
It was going to burn up a lot of energy, but it was a chance that Eta had to take. She closed her eyes, focusing through the hissing and the spitting until the star on her forehead began to glow. Jerking hard to but her head against the larger Mauvian, Eta fired her laser.
"You talk a lot." If Aue had a camera recording all of this somewhere he would likely have a long conversation with her later about what kind of situations to not get stuck in. Any sort of position where a member of an opposing faction could essentially pile-drive her into the ground probably wasn't the best, in the long run.
Cursa had steady footing and she wasn't going to make it easy for the other senshi to pick her up. That being the case, she could only see a few other ways out of her current situation. There weren't any that didn't involve pain of some sort. "Let's go for a ride....Cursa's Flight."
Angled the way she was, the force carried by her magic was enough to drive the other senshi back, knocking her hard to the ground. She seemed to realize what was happening rather quickly though, so Cursa was left without a human boogie board to cushion her skid across the asphalt as she hit the ground, bringing her arms up to shield her face as the blacktop shredded her gloves.
Thisbe w/ Sumi V. Lalande
She had spent months as an early stage senshi following Corvus around town, trying to learn from the senshi she had felt a a connection to without knowing why. She had eventually shirked off her duties and, even then, Corvus hadn't given up on her. When she heard Arsinoe scream for the Senshi of Vengeance her heart sank and for a moment nothing else mattered.
In the moment following she felt a surge of energy herself, ignoring how tired she was and how much she ached. She couldn't half-a** this just because she'd been hurt earlier. If something happened to Corvus, something that had made Arsinoe scream like that... Then she's lost and it's only a matter of time before something happens to your sister.
"I'm sorry, Red. I don't think we've been properly introduced." She reached up with one hand to remove her hood in the same moment she reached for him to take hold of his wrist. "I'm Sailor Thisbe and this is the Veil of Woe!" Yanking her hood down away from her face, Sailor Thisbe released her attack on the senshi clad in red and black.
Grymoire
Attack #1a - Veil of Woe, Anguish! Woe lands a successful touch attack after removing one of her gloves, lowering her hood to gaze at her opponent.
Effects: For a brief moment Woe's opponent (singular) views her as someone close to them in grievous distress, be it a situation from one of their memories or the situation they are currently in (about to be attacked). In addition, should Woe land a second touch attack while this is still in effect they also feel the physical pain of what they are imagining. This is meant to be a disorienting attack; mind of matter, in the case of the pain as no true damage is being inflicted. It can also work without her hood, but the effect always seems more powerful when they don't see her face first.

Mab V. Mag Mell
Mab was absolutely delighted when each spindle hit it's mark.
Less delighted when the big lummox stayed on his feet, but them were the breaks - he was, after all, higher level. Mab's delight plummeted to 'bird s**t in my hair' levels as the Cosmos knight cast in his direction like a goddamn rugby jock having a bad day.
Bugger.
Correction. The Cosmos doof cast like that Cajun hottie from X-men, and it was just as obnoxious. MagMell's magic hit the ground at Mab's feet and sent a bright-a** shock wave at the corrupt senshi, knocking him back so the poor girl was flailing like a drunk on New Year's. "Ow! Foul - I call Foul!."
And down onto his butt he went - thankfully, Cornetite was there and getting protective. So he cheered and got back up, "Kick his a**!" Gone was the sweet southern accent affectation, this was pure Brit-out-for-blood.
----
Tibs V. Eta
Eta was, if nothing else, spunky.
She was also trying to eviscerate him, which was admirable but also garbage. Tiberius was pleased that his puffs protected him from the worst of her claws, but it didn't stop the powerful kicks from bruising. The two felines snapped, hissed, and spat at each other, claws and fur flying - and then--
Eta headbutted Tiberius.
With her ******** starbeam.
Tibby yowled and went flying, the force of the beam knocking him back and leaving the scent of singed fur cooking on the air unpleasantly. He rolled like an alligator with prey to put the glowing bits of his fur completely out, hissing and growling as he did so. Being smacked full-on, right up close with a ******** Mauvian laser beam had ******** hurt.
Eta would pay. "Oh, you gonna get it..." Oh. s**t. Wait. The damn beaming had irritated his throat and now he needed to hurk up a hairball or something. Great.

The whip would not be dragged from Celsus' hands no matter how hard Aue tried to yank it away from him. Sheer brute strength was an advantage that Celsus shared, even after all of his years as a Knight of Chronos - but he was not about to let his weapon go to anyone other than himself, regardless.
His feet skidded across the ground as Aue yanked, Celsus' eyes still stinging painfully, though the sensation seemed to be wearing off, ebbing away. He almost collided with the Corrupt, fingers scrabbling along the line of the whip's handle, Celsus' teeth gritted together to keep from yelling out as he was sent staggering off to the side, blindly tossed.
I can't do this. He's going to -
Almost at once, a searing pain flashed its way across Celsus' neck. The words engraved on his skin glowed a bright, vibrant gold, and he let out a gasp, almost losing his grip altogether. But the reminder was exactly what he had needed, and with a savage yank, Celsus dragged the whip back away towards himself.
He stumbled back, hissing, then raised it almost at once and brought it swishing through the air with a deafening crack, squinting one eye open so that he could try to see where the Corrupt was through blurry, watery vision.
"Politeness always has a place," he said breathlessly, a little hoarsely. "And I can't die now, you understand."
Syrie
Celsus cracks the whip, and the sound creates a distraction, a lack of concentration. They have trouble keeping their mind focused on one specific thing for very long. This makes it difficult for the opponent to keep their aim specific. Celsus has to be within viewing distance of his opponent, and he has to be looking directly at them. If his vision is obscured or his concentration broken, the effect won't work. The effect lasts approximately 40 seconds, depending on the strength of the opponent.

Aue V. Celsus
As Librarian went sliding, so too did the knotted whip along Aue's forearm. His flimsy bracer shredded with the motion, even magically enhanced for protection as it was, so by the time Celsus gave that hearty yank, most of the weapon had cleared flesh. What hadn't left gouges and furrows in bare skin that would no doubt scar. The Librarian has a bite as well as a bark. Interesting.
Blood welled from the places rent of flesh, a sharp pain that military training dictated was triaged as non-critical and thus ignored. It was during this time that Celsus also brought forth his magic, cracking his whip down so close to the corrupt's body that he felt more than heard it.
"Pity, that is- My aim." It was somewhat difficult to stay focused, but not impossible. So that. Is his. Magic. Aue wondered at the parameters of activation, mind touching here and there on what might be making the effects less intense. He surmised it had something to do with having nearly blinded the knight before hand since it seemed Celsus was expending great effort to keep an eye on him. Unfortunately, Aue wasn't going to make that easy; the corrupt charged forward and threw himself at Celsus to tackle the knight.
---- Aegir crashing the party
A call for help, answered. Finally. Distance was always the hardest obstacle to surmount when answering a summons for aid. Senshi could not teleport, not even the Royals with their huge feathery wings had that sort of ability - much less an eternal.
Aegir had been on the move since moment one, counting seconds and breaths down. Hoping he would not be too late. There were many fewer auras flaring than he would have expected, but then - there were Mauvians. Perhaps aura blocking was in effect? Panting from his exertions, the senshi of silence came bounding onto the chaotic battle field from above like an avenging angel. He had been in a position like this before, he knew his magic was good for what amounted to crowd control.
So many Negas... Corrupt senshi everywhere, officers too - mostly lower levels all around, but there were some heavier hitters in more ornate costumes. His friends were in trouble though, being overrun. If we can just...get them knocked down a peg, they'll run away like cowards. Booted feet neared the ground as the eternal of silence drew upon his magic from within. "This party is officially over! - Soundless Tranquil Ocean!" As he landed, his hands swept forward, an entire ocean of magic flooding the field to wash over the crowd.
----
Mab got hit by the magic like it was a ten ton brick, a scream dying soundlessly in his throat as the very air needed to create it was forcibly taken from his lungs. Robbed of air and sent flying, the corrupt senshi of spindles could do nothing but drown under eternal Aegir's magic, falling into a deep faint and ending up as a golden-rope wrapped puddle of sopping wet hair and cloth on the ground somewhere between Mag Mell, Aue, Celsus, and Cornetite.
Tiberius felt the incoming senshi and took his heaving, horking hulk scrambling for cover. He was not about to let himself be injured more for an operation that wasn't even sanctioned by Mistress. Nope. ******** that. Lemons and Co were on their own. He avoided Aegir's magic and slunk off into the shadows to make his way home.

Soundless Tranquil Ocean -- Multi-enemy non-directional zone-based field attack; Instead of 'ropes' a wash of energy floods over the enemies, knocking them down and then going more rope-like, coiling around their limbs to hold them still/silent for a length of time. As an added 'joy' the attack - in the initial stage (the flood) - has a chance of drowning (knocking out) the enemy.
TL;DR - steals breath, steals voice, low levels get knocked down/out (if you want faint, otherwise just on their a**) and then get tied up and can't say s**t <3)
The senshi's eyes widened as the blond appeared on the field and he suddenly found himself unable to breath, or speak, or ... well do anything. He didn't quite crumple to his knees but some part of his brain figured that was because it wasn't entirely possible for one of his legs to do that.
It didn't feel good though and he tried to stop himself from falling over long enough to figure out where Cursa was. If it was doing this to him it had to be doing it to her as well.
-----------------
Lt. Nitratine
Nitratine had been ready to continue the fight and to take down the damn senshi and the stupid fluffball of a cat that was bothering them all. He knew they were strong enough to deal with them. Uvarovite and Tourmaline had trained them well and they knew how to work together. If there was a chance that they did not know what they were doing than Tourmaline and Uvarovite would never have let them get this far. They would not be here having this fight where they were.
The attack came from nowhere. The last thing he had expected was for someone to show up on the scene and try to kill them all in a rather unpleasant way. One moment they were holding their own and the next he found himself on his knees struggling to breathe. Each attempt was met with agony, drawing in a wheeze when nothing happened.
There was not enough air in his lungs to call for help, to scream for Cornetite, and that terrified him more than the few shallow breaths he could manage to get in. He had no idea what had happened, or what was happening as he felt the edges of his vision going blurry. His fingers curled against the ground, sliding over asphalt as he reached for Mab, for Cornetite, for anyone.
He did not want to die like this... He did not want to die alone on the ground in the middle of Destiny City. What would his obituary say? What would his fans say? Died on the ground. Died tragically. Died miserably. That was unacceptable. That was... It was...
Awful
-----------------
Gen. Uvarovite + Pet
The Youma saw the new senshi incoming and while it couldn't predict the senshi's abilities it knew it was trouble. Turning it's attention from it's prey the Youma clawed it's way back to it's master moments before the magic hit. It couldn't scream in pain but, had there been air for it to use, the creature would have been.
Pet's attempt did not quite stop the magic from hitting Uvarovite, not with the way it was targeted, but at least he knew he would be harder to get at with his Pet looming over him. They had the upper hand until whatever this magic was and he could see all of their subordinates going down across the battlefield. Whatever the magic was doing made things much, much, worse for them than it would most likely effect himself and Tourmaline.
