Personality: Goal-driven and snarky, with little patience for idiocy. Leans surprisingly traditional, in that she has no desire to go traipsing about on a viking, preferring instead (and indeed, expecting) to rule the roost...although she's more inclined to try to sway others into doing what she wants than resorting to brute force. Possessive and sharp-witted, as far as she's concerned, bloodline is important, and with her grandmother being the previous warlord (however that reign may have ended), hers is one that should be respected, and she isn't afraid of demanding that respect, if it's denied her.

Personality: Outgoing and talkative, Vold doesn't really seem to live up to his name, at least not on initial meeting, leaning more toward the friendly, rather than war-like. That said, he's got a slow-burn temper that doesn't get riled easily, but when it does, it tends to be explosive, which can often lead to his saying or doing things he regrets later.
He's got a strong protective instinct, and is sharp enough to recognize that a physical response isn't always the most effective, which makes him that much more upset when he does lose his temper.
I see his biggest flaw being that he's afraid of his emotions (and as a result, deeper emotional relationships) and the irrational reactions and pain that can come from forming them.

Personality: Curious and outgoing, she has a tendency of conversing with the voices she hears, rather than just listening, and considers any of her conversations to be equally normal - whether it's with one of the spirits (who she personally believes are those ancestors that have lingered to help the Skadi in protecting the sacred maze) that whisper down from the trees, or with more...tangible individuals. As such, she doesn't always worry, or even distinguish which of these she happens to be talking to, at a given moment.
With that said, experience has shown her that sometimes the ancestors can be capricious, and possess a sense of humor, and so she isn't necessarily one to leap without looking, based on what they may tell her.
She takes her duties of protecting the maze from outsiders seriously, often choosing not to fully reveal herself to those who wander in accidentally - instead adding her voice to those already echoing in the trees to direct them back in the direction from which they've come.

Personality: Observant, and quiet without being too obvious about it, he tends to prefer to let others do more of the talking (especially when interactiong with those outside of his own house), often finding that letting silence fall encourages...oversharing. He's fiercely loyal to his house above all else - to the point where he would not hesitate to take any advantage available to him in helping it to retain prominence.
It was this loyalty to his house that eventually led to his throwing his support behind Eldur, when the Jarl's line almost ended so abruptly.

Personality: A hell-raiser, but not necessarily maliciously so. He's just curious about everything, and has enough confidence (occasionally undeserved) in his own abilities as to be fearless in exploring it. He takes his physical strength for granted (easy to do, with the size he inherited from his father), so while he doesn't neglect to keep himself in fighting condition, he's more apt to get himself out of his inevitable scrapes with a combination of quick wits (specifically, he's very good at figuring out ways out of trouble on the fly) and trust in his own prowess.
Cocky and arrogant, he's very egalitarian, in that he doesn't see females as being any less capable (or vicious) than their male counterparts...they're still less impressive than he is, but he's at least equal-opportunity in assuming (blatantly, even when he doesn't state his feelings outright) his own superiority. As a result of his unflagging confidence in himself, he's very hard to insult or provoke, and finds it easy to laugh off any insults that get thrown his way.
