The closest branch was a block from the hospital, a horizontal sign in front of the lawn proclaimed it to be the North Branch library with another smaller sign that said the book sale would start today in the afternoon. Inside had a decor that tried to combine modern with coziness, but came out more mismatched than streamlined. Along the walls and in the middle were shelves and shelves full of books while off to the side were two rows of computers with only a handful of people using them.

Kylar moved to the back wall with the computers and took a seat. He looked around briefly before opening a web browser heading to the default search engine. He typed in the name "Haven" before opening another tab while that one loaded. On the second tab he opened up a disposable messaging service and shot off a quick message to his uncle. It read: 'Uncle, I've run into a bit of a situation and need some help if you can manage. A group called Haven attacked Sanctuary, they captured several people and killed many more. If you're able to tell me anything you can about them before it's to late for those that were taken.' He returned to the first browser and began looking up any information he could find on the group on its public image while waiting to hopefully hear back from Michael with anything useful.

Information on Haven brought him directly to their website for the first 5 hits. It spoke of being a place of safety and learning for metas that are lost and abandoned by their creators. A place to help reform them to work in a society clouded by fear and push back against the stigma. On the page shows picture of happy metas learning, playing and working in jobs. There were links and numbers to get more information and a list of their programs and housing. There was no response from Michael.

Kylar began searching through the site looking for more information. He wasn't sure what he would find, but perhaps there would be something he could use in there. The silence from Michael wasn't unexpected, it may have been an easy fix if he had responded, but even if he had to do it alone Kylar was willing to get to the bottom of this.

One of the pages described the closest haven facilities. The one in Morrad was crossed out as under renovation while the one in Criel was just closed. The only one that seems to be up and running was the one in Norcrest. It was open for those metas that needed help twentyfour seven and the number.
Outside of it there was nothing more other than links to special advisors if they wished more information and awards and donations gained for the humanitarian effort they were contributing to the new species.
Other sites on the websearch were a mixture of support or in very few cases a few group forums calling out Haven as murders, but those were few and far inbetween. Even a video of the Renegade video released in Norcrest last year popped up.

Kylar took down the phone number of the Norcrest office before signing off of the computer. He made his way to the front of the building and looked around for a moment before heading into the town. Whatever happened next he needed to come up with a plan. He made his way towards a hotel looking for a room for the night.

His trip out and toward the hotel was unremarkable. ---------- (Michael) Michael sighed as he stared into the glowing screens of his monitor setup from the underground base that was apparently seeing less vistors. With the emergence of Mafia and Zaku getting captured, everything was relatively in a tizzy. Michael didnt care for that. Organizations need structure. He had finished adjusting security protocols and administering instructions to his newly acquired Haven personnel. Letting out a deep sigh, he turned to the sound of an incoming email. Kylar.... He rolled his eyes and got up to grab another cup of coffee. Sure, he could make Penny get it for him, but she was a scientist, not an intern. After pouring his mug, He surveyed his office and sat back down in his chair, humoring Kylar. He took a long, drawn out sip from his coffee before crunching a pencil in half. Grabbing his phone, he manually typed Kylars number into his phone, requesting a video call. He was visibly irritated, the gravity around him increasing and his desk rattling a bit. Haven attacking Sanctuary? That was a no fly zone, and Michael was going to put that bird back on the ground.

Kylar walked to the front desk towards a receptionist at the hotel. He waited for them to acknowledge him before speaking, "Hello, I would like a room for the night. A single with a view, if at all possible." He waited for a moment before his cellphone went off. Looking at the person calling and type of call requested he looked up at the receptionist, "If you'll excuse me for just a moment I need to take this." He walked outside and answered his phone, looking into the camera. "Hello, Uncle. I take it you got my email?"

"Kylar, take your thumb off of the camera." Michael said, annoyed and obviously irritated by his tone of voice. "Where are you? I can't see you. I need to look at the damage to Sanctuary and see if there are any tracks. Did you see a helicopter? Vehicles? Tire tracks? Sanctuary is supposed to be a free space and that sanctity has been broken. There must be blood and justice brought upon them." There was an audible smashing noise as he slammed his bag up onto a table.

Kylar looked at the phone checking the camera, apparently he had left the video in camera mode rather than selfie and was covering the back lens by holding the phone. He changed the camera to selfie so that it used the front facing cam and looked back at Michael, "Better?" He looked up at the name of the hotel before responding to Micheals questions, "I'm at [Hotel Name]. I saw some large vehicles, but no helicopters. I've been unable to find out much so far."

"Who is that? Is this actually kylar or a joke?" Michael questioned, staring at his own phone, trying to place the softer voice that spoke. "You can't be that stupid to block both cameras. And..." He typed something in the background. "That hotel doesn't exist. So who are you and how did you get kylar and his phone information. Because I will find you." Michael started to sit down and started attempting to GPS track kylar via kylar's phone.
The back camera was working if it was moved to that mode.

Kylar, becoming frustrated toggled through the camera options until he could see something in the small view that showed his active camera and set it down so that it faced him before speaking again. "I know you're upset with me about your girlfriend, Michael, but this is not a joking matter. My child is dead, killed I'm the attack on Sanctuary. Andy has gone mad and almost got herself killed. If you know something tell me or stop wasting my time. I'm going to avenge my family with or without your help." He picked up the phone and pointed it at the front of the hotel showing the name, "Real or not, I'm standing in front of a hotel with that name. If you can't come here then tell me where you are and I'll come there."

Okay so at this point, Michael has seen Andy recently and thinks this is a trap. He will go visit sanctuary and if nothing is amiss, he's putting kylar on ignore.

Kylar grabbed the phone after it disconnected with Michael and tried to call back once before, in his anger, hurling the phone at the ground. If his family wasn't willing to help, he would need to take drastic action. He looked up at the hotel briefly before deciding against returning.. Even if Michael wasn't willing to help the fact that he said this hotel didn't exist was strange.
Instead of returning, he opened a doorway to the underworld diving into it. He could rest inside of there and perhaps if she was feeling generous Valentien could give him some assistance. He was also still worried about Andy and it wouldn't be good if she had woken up and began eating the help. Without the energy to protect himself as he crossed the threshold from the living realm to one of death unseen forces tore at him siphoning his life force.
Kylar appeared inside of the castle heavily exhausted, making his way towards his room. He wanted to check on everything, but it would have to wait until he rested. Pressing further could be dangerous and he might not make it through this to help anyone if he didn't care for himself first.

The screams echoes as Kylar opened the gateway plunging in, leaving him feeling more exhausted than before. As he arrived everything looked as he expected it to and everything was nice and calm or at least what passed for that in the castle. Nothing looked like it would intrupt his nap if he wanted to take it.
