Her body felt heavy. Once she heard him the slender girl tried to get up. A small whimper escaped her. She felt a bit dizzy. Something was wrong with her. Taking a deep breath she went to the window with great effort. Opening the window for him. Her face was flushed, small beads of sweat gathered at her temples. Seeing him she mustered up a smile, “Tsu---eeeck!!!” she quickly felt bile rise to her throat. Turning to empty her stomach into a nearby basin. Coughing violently she tasted blood on her tongue. Keeping bent over the basin she shook in slight fear. What was going on? She coughed again. The action rattling her bones.

“Nyte!!!” He screamed at her, near anger til he hot in to the window and saw blood come from her. “Nyte-” His grabbed her arm and held her a moment. The smell was putrid.. Putting the basket full of food on the table as he lifted her head. “Did you let anyone in. What happened. Tell me.” But her face looked way to sickly, keeping his face at a distance he helped her to the bed. “Blood means your hurting right.” Petting her, filling with worry. Who could he ask, the fairy but she wanted to eat her. Damn… who could he trust, there was no way he could travel back to the spring with her. Cradling her in his arms for a moment. “Please tell me what to do. I don't know humans.” Putting a rag to her face to clean off her mouth and her face but the blood was everywhere.
“I'll get the kitsune. Stay here..” Not like she could move anyway. “I'll be back soon.” Hurrying out of the window, looking back at their next with worry before leaving. Didn't take him long in his cat form to get there, explaining to the kitsune and dragging him back to the house. “What's wrong with her..”
The kitsune checked her.
“She's dying, cat.”
“How can we heal her? What happens what-” Then he saw the food.. “Have you been getting her food from our world!?”
“Of course! THE VERY BEST!”
“The best is more potent. Your lucky she's not some suckulant pig or goat! Our food isn't good for humans! Damn.. damn… go hunt some food for her. Away from the spring. Her own food can help reverse it. Potatoes and berries if you can. Now go!”

Nyte shivered as she felt Tsu leave her side. She nearly called for him to come back but soon she felt the kitsune’s energy. Feeling somewhat safe she looked up, flushed and whimpering in pain. A small shaking hand reached out to grasp the Kitsune’s sleeve. Seeking comfort where she knew she wouldn’t get any...it was a child’s instinct to at least try. A whimper then she felt her mind fade to black as she passed out. A small trail of blood trickled out of the corner of her mouth.

The Kitsune shook his head at the girl. “Silly girl… your place is not here amongst the myths.. But among the living..” Brushing her hair out from her face, then he proceeded to lift her up carefully. “I'll take you to humans that do not possess self endeavours… they… care…” His adoptive mortals. As they walked, he knew that drawing her back in to the mortal realms amongst the living would take long. He needed to keep her strength up and stopped at a stream once they passed the threshold. Lowering her down and cupping a hand of water and holding it to her lips. Even a little would suffice.
Whether she declined or accepted, he pushed his fingers in to her mouth and guided the water through. “Keep your strength, don't burden me with burying you.”
They continued to walk, and soon were running and jumping from tree to tree. It was finally by nightfall that they made it to a mortal city.
“You’ll be safe here… “
The kitsune had turned himself in to a 9 tailed fox and came to the door. Scratching and yipping til an old couple opened the door.
Quickly he ran back to the girl, went under her and drew her up upon his back. The couple gasped…
“We will take care of her..” The old man picked up the frail girl, carrying her to a room… that seemed to resemble a boys room.
The old lady softly pet the kitsune fox. “I thought you were coming home... “
The fox shook his head, to no. “Very well… be safe, my son…” Petting him softly and giving him a kiss to his forehead before letting the kitsune finally leave.
They would take care of her… like as if she were their real daughter…
