☣Mari yawned as she awoke the next day, looking immediately at the watch to see the time, and then reaching up a tired hand she clicked a button to switch it to the radar, there were several balls now showing up on the map, but they were some distance away. Smiling she rolled out of bed and began to get dressed at a leisurely pace, as she dressed she made sure to throw what she thought were clean clothes at her back pack. Today they were going to begin searching for the dragon balls, and she needed to be prepared for anything. Now dressed she threw her backpack over her shoulder and walked out into the living room. ”Sev you…… aren’t here…. Oookay, I’ll get ready and then come hunt ya down.” Mari had started to say cheerfully before it turned into her normal drawl. Setting the backpack down in the hall near the entry way she walked to the lab and to the safe at the other end of the room. She may not be much of a fighter to say, but she knew how to hold her own in a sense. After punching in the combination and letting the safe scan her finger, she pulled the door open.
☣The contents were few, mostly papers with a few small inventions hidden inside, grabbing from the base of the safe a small case she smiled. ”Hello there my darlings, been a while.” she said as she put in the combination to the case she popped open the lid revealing her two guns, one of her prized inventions. Taking two types of ammo, regular and her own energy. With a smile she reached into the safe for the gun holsters, securing it to her waist tightly she put the guns into place and smiled at the old weight. She used to wear them more often, before Ryuzu was around she only took them off to sleep. But now with it just being her and Sev, she didn’t want to be a burden. Kicking the safe closed she grabbed the case and walked towards the entry once more to add it to the growing pile of stuff.
☣”Sev is probably outside, so it shouldn’t be to hard to find her.” she spoke to herself as she rummaged through the kitchen finding something to eat along with a few boxes of ammo. Popping bread into the toaster, she walked to the hallway and grabbed the bag and case. Doubling back to get the boxes of ammo. Walking out the front door she popped the trunk open on the vehicle and started to load the cargo in. There were only a few more items she would need to grab, one of them being a travel safe she had made for the dragon balls days ago, it was similar to her safe in her office, with double protection. With the included benefit of Ryuzu resistant, walking back into the house she grabbed the pieces of toast from the toaster and started to eat it as she went back to the lab grabbing what looked like a shotgun case. Pacing to the living room she put in the combination to the safe in the floor and grabbed the dragon ball before putting it in the travel safe and locking it shut.
☣”Alright, time to go find Sev and get this party started.” She said putting the case in the trunk with the rest of the items and slamming it closed. ”Only six more balls left to locate.” she grinned looking around to see if Sev had been close by or was further out somewhere. "Looks like I will need to go for a drive to find her." she sighed and climbed into the driver seat of her vehicle. Turning everything on she started to pull out of her property and into the Rocky Area around her house.
