Chailee Sterling - You grab one and start munching - no way you're gonna miss out on an opportunity to eat... who knows when you'll get a chance again!
(Scalpel)

Chailee heaved a sigh of relief when she noted there was nothing creepy or out of the ordinary in the room. Still she was on high alert.

In fact, she was so tense that when she heard the screaming from her tour comrades she also screamed in response. Especially when she finally caught sight of the clown chasing them! She turned to try and rush the opposite way and thankfully Nurse HArmony was on top of the matter and ushering people into what looked like another room. Chailee followed the crowd in, her hands over her ears as she tried to drown out the cackles and voice of the clown. She was certain, though, that his last words were going to haunt her in her sleep.

With the door slammed between them and the clown though it seemed like the horrors had stopped for now. People were beginning to calm down from their last big scare and Chailee along with them. Thankfully it seemed that there was food to be had, and Chailee didn’t hesitate to grab a lunchable and a container of milk before settling herself on the floor of the room.

“Hey. Let’s stay together.” She said to Kathryn who looked as rattled as herself.

She opened up her lunchable and milk and slowly began to eat. Her eyes kept roving the room in fear that something else might pop out at them. In fact, she wasn’t even sure she was aware of what type of lunchable she was eating she was so nervous.

Richard Jones ~ Broken Wheelchair Fragment ~ Option 2

Richard gave the nervous man a nod as the second floor door was opened with no problems. "Very true, it's hard to keep a level head in situations like this." He said as he moved into the second floor, glancing behind to see if Kit was following or not, then almost jumped thanks to the screams. As he spotted everyone running towards them in terror from a clown, he turned and started to run, following the nurse into the break room. He did however try to keep an eye on Kit and the new kid he had bumped into to make sure they made it in safely.

It wasn't a surprise when the room when dark, nor a surprise when the General started to speak to them again. It was however a surprise to learn they were going to be spending the night here in the break room. Richard let out a sigh and ran a hand down his face. "At least I already made sure that Lexus was comfortable before I left." He grumbled to himself. When the food was found he just passed it up in order to take a seat. He would rather wait for a while thank you, one night of not eating wasn't a problem.

Giulia Montgomery - No Weapon - Eating a Lunchable because she is classy and 6 (option 3)

As she entered the room, she was terrified again by the sounds of screams and honking. What?

There appeared to be a naughty clown loose in the hospital. Giulia did not approve. Luckily, the door got closed and while the clown made lots of noise, the group seemed to be safe in here.

"What's a Nuthumper?" the 6 year old asked, taking a lunchable someone had discovered, and a carton of milk and creating a picnic. "I'm not having fun on this tour." She didn't want to drink the milk though. But she was so thirsty, and little girls did need calcium... But....

Xi-Wang Option 2

Hearing the screams caused him to jump, jump and move faster into onto the second floor. Closer to the nurse that was leading them all. He didn't like this - not at all. He wasn't even sure if he powered up if he'd feel any better. He knew his court was chaos aligned but who knows what this General thought of his court, if it could make him safer...it might make things worse. But he couldn't power up anyway.

Reaching the break room he sat down, just for the sake of things he sat himself near the man who had bumped into him. The food...he kept some for himself to the side, by his arm. But he didn't trust it just yet. He could handle a night without food...hopefully.

"Don't trust this....the hospital wasn't open yet...so why the food? I don't like this..."

Kyle - acquired broken IV pole (roll 1d12 for damage)

Eating the lunchable (Option 1)

There were times when retreating to safety was a far more sensible option than throwing themselves at and confronting whatever was coming at them. Such as the crazy clown who was chasing after them with a large sickle. Ducking into the break room, Kyle couldn't be anymore relieved at the realization that the door was thankfully sturdy enough to hold up against whatever the clown threw at it to try to get to them.

Finally, a safe haven in which they could take some time to catch their breath and then plan their escape. If this General Obsidian's words could be trusted that is.

There was no doubt in Kyle's mind now that General Obsidian was with the Negaverse at the mention of the word 'starseed'. It might seem nothing more than a random word from a man who had lost his marbles to anyone unfamiliar with the war between those of Order and Chaos, but that wasn't the case for Kyle though now that they had a brief respite from all the adrenaline rush, he was starting to feel the exhaustion creeping in and dulling his senses until...

... Matt! Where was he?

Looking around frantically for his mentor, he quickly scooted over to his side and took hold of his hand, relieved to see that the older man was safe and sound. "... this all feels like a bad dream doesn't it? I wish that we can all wake up from this right now..." He offered wryly with a shudder, looking a little chipper when someone informed the rest of the group that they had found some food in the break room refrigerator.

"I think that I'll grab a little something to eat. Might as well keep our strength up to fend off what else decides to come after us. How about you? Do you want me to get you something at the same time?"

Cerissé Belcourt (Outfit)

[I do not trust lunchables]

The pair had barely passed through the door when the panicked sound of SCREECHING from behind them caused Cerissé to turn back, looking startled and kind of wishing she still had the bedpan that she'd lost back at the stairs. Unfortunately, it was gone now and they were running away from a clown. "You've got to be kidding me," Cerissé grumbled under her breath, lamenting the heels even further as running was now required.

Why was there a clown.

Why did General Obsidian hate everything good in life and why hadn't she been let in on the joke? Why wasn't she allowed nice things?

She didn't want t be part of 'we all float down here' if it came to that.

Cerissé realized she knew a little too much about clowns as the door to the mysterious break room closed behind them and the nurse managed to lock it. Then came another message over the speaker. Cerissé frowned up at it. "So we're here for the night, then," she sighed, pulling out a chair to sit in and motioning to one next to her for Tristan to take up. He was going to be her Knight (hurr) in shining armor for a little bit and at least he was nice company.

Colette would have loved to have been in her position.

She noticed others were pulling out Lunchables and milk from..somewhere in the break room, and her stomach immediately noped off into the sunset. "I'd prefer to not eat sick-people's food. I had plenty before I came here for this tour and I...."

I have a mental middle finger for that stupid General right now. A very unladylike thought, but a true one. Maybe she'd give him an ACTUAL one if she ever saw him.

Kathryn McAdams - You grab one and start munching save for later on in the night - no way you're gonna miss out on an opportunity to eat... who knows when you'll get a chance again! (( IV Pole ))

Finding oneself locked into a break room with twenty or so other people would have been an interesting way to break the ice with strangers. That is if it weren't because of a clown with a serious case of "take off their heads" roaming the halls just outside of the room that had just become a refuge. Kathryn winced as she dropped the IV pole that was her weapon of choice on a free table. She moved back to lean against the wall to take in a good view of the room. Her body trembled just a little from the adrenaline that was still coursing through her system.

Perhaps she had closed her eyes for a bit of relaxation but upon hearing the speakers crackle to life again Kathryn stood straight and paid attention to the message. Hearing that this small break room would be their "prison" for the night did nothing to alleviate Kathryn's worry. Shaking her head and realizing that there was at least some food available for consumption had the woman sighing. Beggars couldn't be choosy.

As she walked over to where the food was laid out Kathryn massaged her arm that seemed to be aching the most from her fall on the stairs before grabbing a Lunchable tray for herself and a carton of semi-cold milk. It certainly wasn't the Ritz at all in terms of standards of food but the milk was still on the cool side so there would be no ill effects from drinking it. She'd drank warm milk before and while unpleasant she had been okay afterwards. The random thumps that was the clown outside had Kathryn flinching time after time. So far the door seemed to be holding but what would happen if the clown got through? What then?

Banishing that thought from her mind Kathryn made her way over to where Chailee was sitting snacking on her own tray of food before taking a seat beside the teen. On hearing Chailee's suggestion Kathryn nodded her agreement. It was a good idea and just perhaps with two working together they could get out of this hellhole safely.

"That sounds like a good plan to me," Kathryn opened her milk and absently took a small sip before grimacing. No one ever said warm milk tasted great, "I think it would be a wise idea to stick close."

Her Lunchable tray sat to her side mostly forgotten for the time being but there was no mistake that it was meant to be hers, if she managed to screw up her courage to nibble at it later on in the evening.

Slate Blackwell
Telephone weapon

What started as a normal, straightforward tour of a hospital quickly devolved into what he recognized as a Negaverse operation sharply. Slate had never before found himself on the wrong end of an operation unintentionally - the reveal of General Obsidian over the intercom system took him and some of the rest of his group by surprise, including Nurse Harmony. Exhaustion quickly swallowed up any shock he felt at the sudden turn of events, and he settled into the old familiarity of fending for a weapon. The nurse muttered about taking their leave as Slate plucked an old phone off the nearby nurse's station desk. It'd make a decent enough garrote if he needed it.

Thoughts of another errant youma attack occurred to him shortly - generals found it easy enough to release such menaces into the real world. And where better to place youma than in cramped hallways where most of the denizens found difficulty in moving around? Still, he wished he knew something about this before blithely wandering into a new hospital.

The nurse's station offered very little in the way of maneuverability - they may as well have been packaged sardines for the nearest youma outbreak - so the distant sound of a crying child spurred Slate into motion. He pushed past some of the other residents, some whispering to their friends to stay close, to stick together, as he edged out alone. But he didn't have to care as much as the rest of them, he supposed. Slate was simply a Negaverse senshi stuck on the wrong end of an operation. A quick word here, a plea there, and the whole dilemma would see its solution before he wound up a smear on the walls, as the general indicated. A younger blue-haired girl charged ahead with reckless abandon, expecting an actual child of it. Slate felt too tired to expend that manner of bravado - especially since the kid was either a youma or doomed.

As he encroached on the source of the sound with a couple other individuals, Slate looked on from behind them when they opened the door. There, back turned, sat the kid in question. Approach offered no signs of what's to come beyond the hairs on his nape standing alert, and surely enough, the kid exploded into the vicious, derisive expression of a youma. Slate started immediately, his mind spinning with all manner of I-told-you-so's as he backed up promptly to edge himself out of the room. Even with a telephone, he wasn't armed well enough to eliminate any youma threat as a civilian. Soon, however, the creature vanished and left the rest of the group dumbfounded as well. Did it teleport?

Cringing, Slate backed out of the doorway. Those who came with seemed to already pair off; maybe his solitude would give him opportunity to power up soon. In the interim, Slate stopped by one of the picture windows facing out of the hospital to gauge any widespread panic. A child stood nearby, and he wondered inwardly what the Negaverse might do with her. New blood dripped from his nose and he wiped it away with his sweater sleeve.

No one beyond the perimeter of the hospital seemed perturbed - which meant the hospital itself was an isolated incident. Good, that meant the Negaverse had their operation under control, and the White Moon hadn't come around to try to stop them. Maybe they'd be in and out without a hitch and Slate could go home scot-free. But as he searched the rest of the hospital campus, a thin contrast overlaid the evening sky, and he recognized with dread that a figure stood behind him. Youma, he guessed again, and whipped away from the window to approach the stairs. Slate wasn't interested in winding up lunch, telephone-weapon or no.

The rest of the group remained none too far ahead - Slate found that rejoining them was quick and superior to getting lost on his own. Laughter rose again, and Slate ground his teeth. He needed an area where he could power up, and he wasn't about to go chasing down that laughter just to find it. Nor was he clever enough to know how to open the locks on the bottom doors, so he dashed toward the second floor. Even if he couldn't find a means to power up there, maintaining motion meant a harder target for the errant youma. Again, he spotted the blue-haired girl running ahead with the recent friend she made. Several others made for the second floor, too, which meant more for the youma to choose from. Slowly he started to regret his decision - large gatherings like this always attracted youma.

Nurse Harmony followed as the crazed clown from the upper floors grew closer, and the door held it at bay. Slate breathed a sigh, having failed to realize that he held his breath in the dimmed room. Now they stood locked in with each other, each in a panic, and each probably unfamiliar with the goings-on of the Negaverse. Slate leaned against the wall and slid down with the slow abate of adrenaline. The loudspeaker crackled to life once more, delivering the irreverent voice of one General Obsidian. Slate groaned as he wondered when he might get a chance to circumvent all this nonsense.

Starseed? s**t. Again Slate hauled himself to his feet, and listened to the announcement of food. Being as tired as he was, Slate figured he could use the energy boost - especially since draining wasn't an option right now. After waiting through the initial rush, he stepped forward and took from the reserves, eating without pause for proper manners. If he was gonna wind up an accidental Negaverse casualty, then why waste time on paper towels?

Lillith Calchas { Oxygen Tank } Option 1

Being chased by a clown was not her idea of fun. With her hands full, Cassie had a grip on her elbow, pulling her along with her as they ran from the creature. Down at her feet, she heard the cat hissing and yowling, spitting in her own rage.

She nearly fell when she was suddenly jerked to the side--Cassie pulling on her arm, the guardian shoving at her legs and nearly tripping her--and she stumbled, nearly collapsing into the break room. Panting, the fact the door was locked behind them--and the banging stopped eventually--was a small grace.

The fact they were locked in for the night? Not so much.

She was ushered over to a chair and table, sitting down heavily as she set down the tank and pole. Food was put in front of her, along with a milk carton, and she slowly settled down. "We didn't get much of a chance to introduce ourselves," she said softly to the guardian whom had jumped up on the table to eat her own food. "I'm Lilith, and this is Cassie. Thank you for all your help."

""

Cassie Finlay { Broken Wheelchair Fragment } Option 1

No, she wasn't being very nice as she dragged Lilith along the hall, but they were kinda being chased and she didn't want her cousin to get hurt by that killer clown. So she was totally justified. Or so she told herself as they all but collapsed into the break room, panting as she lead Lilith to a chair and table.

When someone found the Lunchables and milk, she grabbed enough for the three of them, not caring if people objected or not. Returning to the table, she sat down hard, crossing her arms on the table and resting her forehead on them. So they were stuck there. Great.

Though she waved a bit to the feline at the introductions, Cassie was visibly glum and moved her chair closer to her cousin's, nibbling quietly as she took what few comforts she could in all this.

""

Réalta { Broken IV Pole } Option 1

"Réalta," she said softly, after murmuring her thanks to Cassie for the food. She'd no qualms about being up on the table and visible. If people hadn't noticed her before now, that was their own issue. She ate the odd foods, making a face at the fake meats but keeping her silence on it all.

She wasn't pleased about spending the night there, but she didn't plan on sleeping much. She'd no reason to trust anyone here after all, or rather--she didn't trust anyone to hurt the young women she'd imposed herself upon. After food, she'd curled up on the table between both, her ears flicking this way and that, slit eyes surveying the room cautiously as the other two dozed off. None slept easy, but it was making the best of the situation dealt to them.

Lucia Alighieri - (Broken IV Pole) - Option 2

Lucia gripped her broken IV pole in hand. She was very unhappy there was a General on the intercom and he was clearly up to no good. Not to mention she was really scared of clowns, she really wanted to be Ara right now and blast away the evil clown with luminescent starshine. But she hadn't really had a safe place to transform yet so she would just have to defend herself as Lucia.

She spotted Giulia eating a snack as she quickly made her way to her. "Giulia are you ok? That's one of the bad magic people on the speakers, we need to figure a way out of here. Just stick with me and I'll keep you safe." She promised her sidekick and best friend.

She avoided eating any of the snacks what if the general did something to them, she still didn't know what the full extent of what a general could do was. "Giulia we probably shouldn't eat anything else." She advised her friend. "General jerk face might have put a curse on them or something."

Matt Duffy is not eating (option 2)
{Phone and Cord Weapon}

It didn't take long for the panic of the group to reach an all time high as everyone scrambled into the same hallway shoving and pushing until everyone filled into the break room the nurse had found to hide in. Matt grumbled in protest considering how many elbows had dug into his ribs from the frantic pushing and someone nearly tripped him over, for whatever reason the clown seemed to terrify him a lot less than it had others. Not to say he liked the idea of being perused but he was beginning to feel like it was a charade, which likely the entire thing was and he assumed he was to play along with it. The door slammed shut and the clown did it's best to rattle and budge the door but soon the noise began to fade away as dead silence filled the room. Not long after a voice croaked over the system familiar from earlier mentioning starseeds, Matt had to resist rolling his eyes, of course they would make puns now that should terrify anyone.

Soon the crowd started to fidget and people started to look around, as Kyle with worry on his face grabbed his hand causing a faint smirk to show on the man's face, at least this working to some ways to his own benefits. Squeezing it in return Matt gave him a reassuring smile as if to say that he wouldn't let anything terrible ever befall his student. “It does, doesn't it.” More like a bad dream in annoying him sure but he kept that to himself as he squeezed Kyle's hand again. “Either way I'm here. I'll do what I can to keep you safe.”

It didn't take long for someone to find a fridge and Kyle offered to get them both something to eat. Matt just shook his head and smiled to the younger man. “No I don't think I could eat but thanks.” Really considering everything else had been more or less a trap he didn't put it past the general to have laced the food with something, at least that was what he would have done but maybe he was a little more crueler than most.

RESULTS:

Option One:

You consume the food, not realizing how ravenous you were after being stuck in a horror hospital and chased by a crazy clown. Hopefully it was refreshing!

Option Two:

Why wouldn't you eat free food? Are you too good for our free food?!

Enjoy feeling exhausted with the lack of nutrition because you deserve it, you jerk.

Option Three:

You are clearly the classiest of RPers. You make a feast from the snack foods and are the envy of your comrades' eyes for your elegance and prestige in how you consume your Lunchables.

You wake up (or stir, if you didn't sleep) to the sound of the speakers crackling once more. If your phone isn't dead, it reads 9am.

User Image

You don't want to leave because the clown is probably still lurking outside. Police will eventually come and save the day, right? Right???

Nurse Harmony seems equally content to just sit it out until the soft sounds of dripping start. Soon enough, soft drip drip drip turns into splat splat splat as water begins to seep through the ceiling onto you and your fellow tourists' heads.

Do you...

Option One
Collect all the bedpans and use them as buckets - they're pretty much useless anyways!

Option Two
You sit and watch the water drop. You needed a shower anyways.

Option Three
Let's take our chances and open the door - that water doesn't have anywhere else to go!
