He crossed his arms and shrugged. "Honestly, being helpful for even a few minutes isn't the worst thing to improve my mood. Just...don't go spreading around I have a collection or anything on Twitter. Also I'd really suggest once you guys watch that and feel a bit more interested in trying new things, to maybe go to an adult store together and pick out what might interest you and get DVDs you two might like. That way you can get your own things. Just - make sure you know how certain items should be stored and cleaned. If it's too embarrassing for either one of you, see if you trust the other person to go for you instead, but it is a good way to kinda talk about those things. You two together should be at least the people you are most comfortable opening up about all this. And you can text me. Just - maybe give me a secret code to know it's you texting me next time and not someone else."
He moved over to sit on his bed again.

"I won't say anything," Noah promised, and listened attentively to the rest of what Melvin had to say, nodding. "Okay," he agreed, his blush actually fading a bit as he was given solid and practical advice for experimental parameters.
"Um. What kind of code? Like some word that wouldn't come up usually?" He thought for a moment. "Like banana?"

"Well, he's no seeing my phone ever again, but if it's important to you... how aboouuut... bug?" He made little air quotes for emphasis. He couldn't help but snort loudly at Noah's suggested code word. "Or that, though it might remind the both of us of too much..." It seemed Melvin's seen almost everyone's d**k at this point.
"Who the ******** would we tell anyway? My best friend is right here," he gestured at Noah with the bag he was now holding. "Besides, we're getting a cut of your booty. Making a thing of it would make us hypocrites."

"There are plenty of hypocrites on Twitter. Get pissed and people say things to get back. I'm no better at it."
Leaning over, he turned his stereo up a little louder.
"Banana Bug will work. Don't need to use it to start every text but when asked, just remember it. If you guys are set, I'm gonna just...sleep a bit."

Noah nodded. "Okay. I won't tell anyone," he repeated, and then got up, because he was not socially adept but it was still pretty clear to him that Melvin wanted them to go away now. "If you, if you need anything that I can help you with, just, um, say, okay?"

"I'll keep that in mind, Noah. Thank you. All I can ask is you keep the garden watered. If there is a problem, tell me." He was depressed, but he wasn't willing to let the greenhouse breakdown due to his neglect.
"I.....don't want to go to the bar.....or towns. We can meet for dinner if that is okay. I can manage the cafeteria. Just not the bar." He said, and pausing, looked back at Al. "..please."
