She had only taken one picture for this assignment, a surprisingly cheery autumn shot of her best friend in a random field of purple flowers. Thian rarely let her point a camera at him, but since he hadn't demanded she delete this particular image for whatever reason, she might have been taking advantage of his good mood just a little. If she could pass this elective with a picture of the demon, she could use it as a personal point of hilarity for years to come.
The photo itself was slightly blurry around the edges, but she still liked it quite a lot. The colors complemented each other well, and contrary to all things likely in life, Thian was smiling. Maybe it wouldn't be hilarious so much as poignant.

Response: Sylkie grinned as she looked at the freshly developed photo. It was perfect! The colors, the image. Sharp and crisp, no blurry bits at all. She was so glad she’d invested in a stand for her camera, it was worth it for the sheer improvement in the photo quality alone. A swirl of pride filled her heart as she placed the picture in a frame. Surely her teacher would love it. Her thinking was that the image spoke of winter’s barrenness, but the lighting said “Hope endures, for the first blossom of spring”. She lifted her camera and her stand, ready to go take many more pictures.

Response: Yaruka just wanted to do something fun and not stressful for a second elective. She liked taking pictures, so photography seemed like an easy choice. It was actually fascinating and a little confusing on the process but when they were told to take a colorful picture, she got worried. She never really took her picture taking so seriously as to be considered good enough for a class assignment. Still....she was able to focus on taking a close-up of a flower. She must have been shaking a little because the photo was a little blurry but she was, all in alll, rather proud of herself. A compliment from the teacher helped secure that.

Jaret had been asked to select a picture he had taken so that he could submit it in for grading or whatever. It was hard to pick just one but since he could only submit one... He had to analyze each of his photos closely. A smile crossed his face as he looked through pictures that he took while on a trip with Favrielle a week or so ago. He remembered how much fun it was too. As he looked through more pictures, he came across the bridge that Favvy had found. This was the one; this was the picture he was going to pick. It was perfect and very colorful. As he submitted his picture in, his teacher told him how much they liked it and that it would be in the display case! Jaret gave a large smile, honored to have one of his pieces selected as such. He couldn't wait to tell Favrielle about it!

Photography had never really been his strong point, but compared to taking some of the other classes...this had seemed the least painful for an elective. It beat the hell out of going to baking classes. No way. The hybrid had to consider what to make his focus be for the assignment. After a bit of brainstorming, coming up with something artistic proved challenging. Wandering around, he decided to settle down for taking odd angles at different shutter speeds.
The blurred results of a city street with the lights flickering captured his thoughts and feelings almost perfectly. A road leading into a blurry, yet promising unknown. Submitting the work, he knew it was a bit blurry, but he had really tried to go for something unusual rather than taking a clean, crisp image like he had originally intended.
