Name Meaning:- The origin of Keithia is English and it means 'Forest' or wood. 🌲
Why did you choose this name: Well nature is important to Nevena and it's becoming important to Hollie . Since both parents have plant names I felt it was important for the foal to have a nature inspired name. Plus these foals with be part Dryad so i felt a name that means forest or wood would suit such a pretty green foal.

Personality:
Keithia kind of an odd gall. In some families her personality might stand out and a few soq might think her anti-social. However her personality fits perfectly with Hollie and Nevena . Keithia is a naturalist she seeks to preserve nature and the equilibrium of the forest. Her mother Nevena enthralled her at a young age with stories about the wonder of nature. As a very young foal she first wandered away from her family and walked into the woods by herself while following a gold monarch butterfly. Instead of feeling alarmed and scared at finding herself alone. Keithia revelled in the magnificence of the forest. The sounds of nearby birds who at first were silent when she entered the forest but after realizing she was no threat let out calls of such beauty. Their song thrilled her with it's magnificence. The way moss only grew on one side of the trees puzzled her and the way light hit the forest was beautiful. Some of the forest was quite dark but then beams of light hit the forest floor. Hollie and Nevena soon found Keithia and spoke to her about disappearing . However Nevena understood the joy Keithia experienced while roaming in the forest by herself. As she got older Keithia often wandered in the forest by herself. She was enamored by the glorious nature that surrounded her .Keithia could often be found nursing some animal or trying to mimic their cries.Often she would wander far away from her family feeling the need to explore . She is also a bit of an airhead about time she really just pays attention to the sun rising and setting and how sunlight affects nature.

As an adult Keithia has even started to try to graft flowers to create her own flower . She wants to have a flower to be her own creation but mostly she feels that nature creates it's own perfection. Keithia also gathers what knowledge she can about healing medicinal plants and medical practices. So that she can help animals in need as well as her family if the need arose.

Keithia however is not the best in dealing with soq outside her family. She spends a lot of time a lone so her social skills are a bit rusty. She feels a bit awkward with strangers and it takes her awhile to be comfortable. Keithia tends to be on the quiet side but she grows animated with strangers when nature it discussed. She loses her nervousness and can talk for hours about a particular beetle or tree(Poor Listeners!) -she's a nature geek. She is also very curious to hear other soq talk about their travels through the soq lands.

Favourite plant and/or flower: She loves all plants even poisonous ones interest her.
However I like weeping willows . I have one in my front yard that is huge.

Name Meaning: An old English name it's meaning is, " one who belongs to a green valley."
Why did you choose this name: Well nature is important to Nevena and it's becoming important to Hollie . Since both parents have plant names I felt it was important for the foal to have a nature inspired name. Plus these foals with be part Dryad which are tree spirits in mythology so i felt nature names were definitely needed

Personality:
Denver as a foal is extremely fearless. His mothers, sisters and uncle have always been really protective of him because he is the baby of the family. One of his favorite games is hide and seek which he is particularly good at because of his coat coloration. He has scared Hollie and Nevena many times by blending into his environment. His chameleon act is what he considers his 'special power' and he has gotten very good at staying still and blending in his surrounding.

Like his uncle he is a bit reckless but he has a warm heart and is very curious about other soq. Laurel's personality probably rubbed quite a bit on Denver . Denver is likes to clown/act in a goofy to make others happy. It really upsets him to see another soq is distress. When he first gets his growth spurt he will especially be goofy as he will be all legs.

Like the rest of his family Denver appreciates nature he will guard his family's territory. No soq is allowed to harm plants or animals under his watch but he doesn't feel quite the same pull to nature as his mother Nevena. His skills in hide in seek come in handy while watching other soq that he thinks might be a threat. He's very good at not being noticed and using his brains to outwit others. He will often act as a peacemaker in other soq disputes and help the injured parties resolve the argument in a peaceful resolution.

As an adult he will travel away from his family at times mostly to learn about other soq and their culture. He will often collect stories and tales from his travels which he will share with his family, their fams and Snubbull. If Denver was a human he would be a cultural anthropologist. He finds other soq to be wondrous, kind, beautiful, terrible and most of all fascinating!

Name: Padma (for the lass)
Name Meaning: Lotus, in Sanskrit. An aquatic perennial which has beautiful flowers that grow up out of the mud to sit on the surface of the water, seemingly untouched by the water or the mud. It is considered a symbol of beauty, purity, and the spiritual potential to rise above filth, and be untainted by it.
Why did you choose this name: May she be pure and beautiful of spirit, with the ability to rise above and not be negatively unaffected by any difficult situations or hardships she may face, just as a lotus flower rises out of the muddy lake to face the sun.
Temper: Centered
Personality: Padma is very kind and loving. Like her mama, she is a deeply caring individual. Soft-spoken and gentle, she gives the impression of being somewhat delicate. But despite her caring nature, she isn't the sort to get upset over trivial things, and is in fact quite practical and down-to-earth. She is a very resilient young lady, and can be downright feisty if properly riled – though being the patient and tolerant individual that she is, this doesn't happen often. Rather than cry or rage when something upsets her, she tends to either dig her hooves in and learn to accept it, or try to change or fix it, whatever “it” may be. She's still working on cultivating the wisdom to know when to do which, though!

She enjoys tending to flowers and other pretty plants, and though she finds their uses and medicinal purposes interesting, it would take a certain something, or someone, to truly spark her curiosity and inner passion to learn about them in more depth. She is a bit of a homebody. She likes visiting new and fun places as much as the next Soquili, but loves to come home to her family. She hopes to have a large one of her own someday, and looks forward to becoming a mother.

Favourite plant and/or flower: Morning glories are her favorite flower. She loves mornings, and they attract beautiful butterflies and hummingbirds.

Name: Hazel Stag Hare
Name Meaning: Of the hazelnut tree; he added the second part himself because he finds them amazing and just liked how it sounded
Why did you choose this name: I pulled some inspiration from two fictional rabbit characters from two of my favorite books/series, Watership Down and Redwall
Temper: Energetic
Personality: Hazel is an excitable, energetic, bumbling, adventurous, loud, brash, friendly, exuberant, and just... an all around happy-go-luck colt. He could spend the whole day running about and playing with new friends, discovering and exploring, and still have extra energy to bounce about before bedtime. He's unlikely to change much as an adult; just as willing to meet new Soq and see new places, he'll spend much of his time flitting from one home to another, enjoying how beautiful the world is. He definitely takes after his uncle Laurel.
Favourite plant and/or flower: Sunflowers! Beautiful, bright, yellow flowers for as far as the eye can see! What a dream come true...

Name: Feronia
Name Meaning: Roman goddess of wildlife and freedom
Why did you choose this name: Her name just thoroughly encompasses everything I would want her personality to be (see below)
Temper: Freedom Fighter
Personality: Feronia believes in the inherent dignity of all living things. Animals have feelings, bugs have feelings, trees have feelings, flowers have feelings; in her eyes, everything that lives and grows is sacred and deserves respect. As a foal she will have a youthful sense of justice, chastising other foals or adults for harming the forest or any creatures within. As she grows, she will develop a deep protectiveness for the forest, eyeing with suspicion any who enter and may seek to cause it harm. She enjoys singing to the trees and running through meadows; simply feeling free and one with nature. I can see her having some disagreements with certain types of Soq as she gains more life experience; fighting off skinwalkers, attempting to help stallions enslaved by the harpies escape, destroying traps and prisons of any kind.
Favourite plant and/or flower: The dandelion-- a plant that encompasses freedom if there ever was one. Light and beautiful, always going wherever the wind takes it...

I enjoyed reading everyone's entries and this was the hardest contest I've judged. It took me the last couple of days to dwindle down the entries and determine the winners. Despite this, I did randomize in the end for the boy in my guild as I couldn't decide.
