Kami Sylvester  Kami kind of frowned at Surtr. He really didn't understand that he's the first to hold her interest. The first to keep her coming back. The first one bold enough to kiss her. She was not an easy egg to crack, but he had her willing to give him a go. "Ya know I heard the warning the first time and I'm still here aren't I? I stand by what I said. I have no plans to go anywhere. So you might as well get used to me."
Watching Surtr grab a few bottles from behind the bar and walking toward the exist. Kami would finish her drink in one shallow and follow him out the brothel. Taking one of the bottles from his hand, she popped it open and took a sip. She started walking as if they was going to the North side, but they wasn't going to make it all the way there. "I would have never thought of being with someone like you. Yes you think it's a bad thing to fall for you, but I fear nothing." She looked into his eyes as she spoke those words. "The only thing I'm asking for is to be your sidekick. Hold you down, have your back, and just be there for you. Love is just a four letter word. I'm here to be loyal and friend with benefits. I'm not asking for marriage or a unit family with a house and the white picket fence. I've raised children already and made it where I won't produce any. I just want to live my life to the fullest." Kami didn't understand why she was telling all this to Surtr, but she figured he needed to know. .

 As she brushed off the warning Surtr chuckled softly before continuing his walk. She took the bottle from his hands uncorking and taking a swig. Surtr seemed rather impressed by her lack of fear. "Such courage.... my such courage." Surtr uttered before glancing to Kami. His gaze seemed to show admiration and perhaps a bit of envy. It was like he wished he had the ability to tack such a leap. Though within moments of his look it faded and his arm found itself around her shoulder as the two continued there walk. As she gave him her explanation Surtr stopped and turned her so she now faced him. It was obvious his eyes had a more serious look to them burning brightly in the night as they looked to her now. "I can do benefits, but I cannot change..." He said his had coming up and caressing her cheek ever so faintly. His touch was so soft and slow being sure to garner her attention so that what he said next would be crystal clear. "I cannot change who I am...." He whispered looking to her. "I can bring you fun, and while I am here you are welcome to travel with me." Surtr said with a playful smirk. "Though I travel across the world and the places I go are far to dangerous to go with anyone else." Surtr said as his hands slipped from her cheek and his lips found themselves upon her forehead. He uncorked his bottle and took a deep drink. Kami was complicated, and she enjoyed pressing him. Constantly pushing against the comfortable wall he had made. She seemed intent on breaking past his defenses and seeing what laid underneath. Surtr couldn't understand why but no one had breached those defenses in thousands of years. Surtr was not about to let that happen. He was taking very slow steps obviously giving Kami time to catch up should she choose to come. Though he wouldn't blame her if she didn't. Kami Sylvester Kami sighed. "Surtr I'm not asking you to change at all. I'm willing to take you just the way you are. This is called acceptance. I'll travel to the ends of the earth with you if you wanted me to. " Surtr was trying to be tender with her and shield her, but she didn't want that. She was strong willed for a reason.
Kami would continue to press him. She was going to get inside of those walls whether he wanted her to or not. Pushing her away would do him no good for she would keep coming back. Kami would continue to follow Surtr until they got to a secluded area. Putting the bottle down on the ground, Kami's eyes snapped to Surtr. Then she looked up at the stars in the sky. "There are many of days growing up I wished to be a star in the sky, but I always thought about my siblings and how much they needed me and stayed on this earth for them. Now I'm living for me." Bring her eyes back down to meet Surtr's, she would take small steady steps toward him. Once face to face, she placed her lips to his lighting a flame between them that she hope would consume them. .

As she spoke of acceptance Surtr was about to reply when the sound of a bottle hitting the ground made him turn to her. He could see the fire within her, raging now as she spoke and rushed him. As she kissed him his arms found themselves around her waist lifting her from the ground. Almost immediately an arm would wrap around her cheeks creating a swing of sorts as he slipped his other free from his coat. The process this flipped as he slid from the coat freeing himself of its constraints. Though instead of hitting the ground it levitated down so that as Surtr moved forward and down he would lay her atop it. Their lips separated again as he was now atop her his eyes giving her a very intense fiery stare. "How can you accept me when you know only such a small part of me?" He asked his lips now moving to her neck playfully brushing against them before giving her a light n**. "I am a lecherous man, who seeks to discover all the world holds. I do not seek to show restraint and lose myself in whatever holds my attention." He said softly his hands swimming over her body deftly moving over each and every curve. His mind raced to her comment earlier and now believed he could make her something that would fit every inch of this form. As he finished his words he pulled back a few inches so he could properly look upon her face to see how she answered the next question. "Can you accept a man like that?" he inquired his tone softly than before. It was a momentarily lapse in the passion that had just ensued a final warning sign. They were at the point of no return, Kamis last chance to back out before wandering down a path. Surtrs natural heat would rise warming the area, a natural side effect of his emotions being in high. Though out of courtesy for her feelings he did something uncharacteristic he paused his own lust to see what she wished. He did not wish to hurt her, especially when she had such talent. His mind could see the inevitability of what was to come. He was sure this would end in disaster it would only cause her pain and add more to the crushing weight of guilt he already carried but his nature forbade him from stopping it. She had the chance to, she had the chance to leave to escape and avoid the heartache that was sure to come. It was her choice to make and Surtr awaited it while atop her, his body begging him to ignore this courtesy and show the woman just what is was he was known for most. [quote="QueenBAD_KittyKat]

Kami Sylvester As Kami laid under him and listened to him go on and on. She was wondering whom he was trying to protect more, Himself or Her? "Never once have I said I would tie you down or keep you from achieving what you wanted, I said I'd be there every step of the way. Part of being with someone is learning who they are as time progresses. You've showed me enough of you that what I don't know won't persuade me to think of you any differently than what I already do. I'm not a reasonable woman. I don't do things by the book and I don't follow the rules. I make the rules and I brake them as I please. Surtr you are my exception to the rule. Stop trying to protect me and least see where this thing called life takes us."
Kami didn't care they was at the point of no return. She was chosing this path and she was going to go down it. The chips were going to fall where they may. She wasn't giving in or settling. Her mind was made up and this is what she wanted. Was she being unreasonable and as lecherous as he was? Yes she was going to throw caution to the wind. Feeling the warmth surround them, she would place her lips back to his. Her fingers wanting another touch of his skin. Her body calling to his own. .

As he listened to her words his smile only seemed to grow as she laid out how she was going to treat this. She seemed content with him, like she didn't want him to change. Was that even possible? Was it possible for someone to completely enjoy Surtr for who he was?.... No it couldn't be, his mind wouldn't accept it as truth. Though for now he would release the gates. He would show her just how much he wanted to take her. He had done his due diligence, he had been the gentleman now she would see just how well he could play the game. As she placed his lips back against his Surtr's left hand would would wander down promptly grasping her upper thigh as their forms seem to meld together. Wisps of fire began to appear in the air around the two well enough away that it wouldn't burn either but close enough that it would only up the heat of the event. His hands would move over her as they deftly began to undress her. The wisps of fire began to swirl obscuring the two from view as Surtr allowed his lust to take over. Kami Sylvester Kami had been away from the brothel for a month now since her fiery encounter with Surtr. He probably at this point thought of her as a whore now. Taking what she wanted from him and going on about her life. He also probably thought she regretted the whole things and done waltz out of his life never to return. None these assumptions where true. Not even by a long shot. Kami had thought about him everyday afterwards, but she needed to make some changes if she was going to stand by him.
Opening and closing her shop a little earlier each day, Kami started going to college. She wanted to be strong with her powers and become one with them. She'd learned a lot over the pass month. She could levitate without little to no concentration. She could read minds by a simply touch, but she was warned that if you are going so let the person be aware. She thought that was no fun. She'd learned to move objects with easy. With her fire, she's learned to combine to two disciplines. Creating different shapes and animals by projection.She was mastering the scared flame. Next she was going to start learning how to make her self immune to fire and others being ability to read her mind.
Closing up her shop today, it was Friday. She was going to see Surtr. Hopeful he would not turn her a cold shoulder to her. The closer she got the more her smile grew. She was anxious to show him what she could do now. Share with him the one things they both cherished the most: Their powers. .

Surtr sat in his usual chair. He allowed a deep sigh to escape his lip as stared into the mug containing mead. On his left shoulder sat Saga his fiery companion that secretly held his heart within it. A lot had changed since a month ago, Surtr had cut out his own heart, and had become king. When he cut out his heart for some odd reason his hair changed. It was weird but Surtr didn't care enough to revert it. As he continued sit pensively he looked to his rather illustrious outfit a small smirk creeping across his lips. He was required to get new clothes by the council a rather frivolous thing but yet again something Surtr was willing to parlay in exchange to be able to travel freely.
Though what caused him to smirk was the one who made the new clothes. Kami, he had a man go to her insisting she be the one to make the clothes. He wore them a bit prouder knowing it was her hand that crafted such a thing. It wasn't his style but Surtr could grow accustom to it, he supposed he didn't have an option he had to become accustom to it. Greatness had been thrust upon him and he couldn't give it to someone else. He had to shoulder this burden, while he wasn't one to do such things deep down he could not allow this place to go to hell. He sighed again taking a deep drink as he continued to think about the predicament he had been placed in. He had to lead....

Kami Sylvester Kami entered the brothel and didn't see her companion anywhere in sight. She sighed heavily making her way to the bar. Sitting she ordered her usual. Pulling her blue hair into a neat bun on top of her head, she planned to just wait. It wouldn't surprise her if he had done went on an adventure. She was gone for a long amount of time. Looking around, she noticed nothing had changed around this place. It was still fulled with people hooking up and messing around. It's neat that she hadn't seen Xavier in this parts since the first night she came here. She sat diligently and waited. .

A Raven would fly into the bar landing at the bar as it looked around curiously. Looking to the left and then the right, a sound would come from his lips before looking at Kami and pausing for a moment before flying towards the inside where Charles was. Within a second, the Raven formed a man with dreads. He was more dressed up and more going for the adult, fancy look. His blue blazer but shirtless. "I forgot an undershirt. Oh well" Xavier joked before he hugged Charles. "Glad see this place still standing. " he would let his magic flow . It shouldn't take long for Surtr to find him. That was for sure. Looking at Kami, he slid a drink to her. He wouldn't say nothing though. He didn't know how Kami and Surtr were. If that night did anything. So, he would wait and see.

His eyes perked up as the blue haired mage walked back into the bar. It was humorous to see how she repeated the same way they entered before. Although his hair and clothes were different his eyes remained the same. They peered to her with a pleasant smirk across his lips. As he was about to rise a raven flew into the bar. Surtr shook his head knowing exactly who that bird was. As it transformed Surtr chuckled softly. Although his head tilted softly noting the adult form Xavier decided to wear. It was a very interesting change of pace.
He saw Kami sit at her seat not recognizing him and a very mischievous smile formed. He knew what he would do. He walked up sitting on the other side of Kami playfully glancing to her. "Come here often?" He inquired looking to her softly. If she looked and saw his eyes she'd likely know. She'd almost certainly see it was him. Though she'd certainly note the little orb of fire that sat atop his shoulder. It was magnificent, he wondered if she would even bother looking up. He knew she hated this and that was exactly why he was doing it. He was poking fun at her as he normally did to see what she would do.
He ignored Xavier for now though he would intend to properly greet his friend as soon as he finished his fun here.

Kami Sylvester Kami looked toward Xavier as he slide her another drink. A smirk played on her lips. "Long time no see stranger." she started on her second drink for she downed the first. She continued to talk to Xavier not noticing the other presence just yet. "You look nicer, but still the same cocky jerk." She mused.
Kami heard the phrase. she didn't need to know who it was. It was the one person she'd been looking for since she stepped foot into the brothel. Turning around she was in complete. He looked nothing like himself. For a moment Kami almost told him to take a hike, but then she catch sight of those eyes. Looking him over, she remembered making that outfit for she was told it was for the King of Karst. She would not pass up the chance or the money. "Surtr?" A warm smiled developed on her lips and it spread through her body. She did notice the little orb of fire and wondered,but she would not question it just yet.

"I believe I been hearing that all day. Must truly been ages." Xavier quipped, "I can clean up when I want to. Only a matter of morale. Besides, the cocky never die with regret." Xavier added before turning away and helping Charles with the dishes and with other drinks. He would let them have their fun for now. He had to go find some other people that he needed to torture first.

As she questioned him and the smile formed Surtr chuckled softly. Perhaps he gave her too good of a hint. Although her reaction was still worth the little charade. The signature smirk found its way across his lips as he looked to her wondering what she would say next. "I saw you've been going to the college quite often lately.... Trying to impress me with some new powers?" He teased bringing his left elbow up on the bar and resting his chin in his hand. His eyes seemed to be bright tonight an indication of his mood. It was always fun to see Kami and he would happily let the world around him blur to focus in on her for now.
The little fiery orb on his shoulder would be obscured now covered up by his posture. Though it still cast a light on Surtr giving him a very regal appearance all around. He truly did look like a king he supposed. Though to Surtr is was just a good thing these new clothes were comfortable. He wouldn't dare wear them if they didn't breathe well. Kami's handy work made the trouble he had to go through more bearable and for that he was thankful.

Kami Sylvester Now Surtr having Kami's attention, it was like day one all over again. She blocked out Xavier. It was if he knew her every move. "You saw me yet you didn't once approach me. It saddens me a small bit, but yes I have been going to the college. I remembered you said for someone with so much potential why not go. I took heed to your words and went." Kami went to make herself stronger. Surtr was a king now. In order for her to be worthy enough, she couldn't stay in ignorance forever. There had to be growth.
Giving him another over look, her smile reached her eyes this time. "I hope the new King is enjoying the new look for he requested I make it for him." she teased. She was not used to the blonde hair and regal appearance. The blonde hair confused her much. She didn't see why he would dye it for his black suited him just fine. To her his appearance, didn't matter. It was all about the feelings he held for her. That look in his eyes when he saw her. "Can I ask something of you? The first day we meet, you asked me if I could fly? Would you mind accompanying me on a short flight?" Kami really hoped he'd say yes. She had learned how to levitate and wanted to show him.
