Xersi wasn't all that sure that they really wanted to come to the event. It was crowded and stinky. However, they figured that maybe they'd be able to scrounge up some food when no one was paying attention. They were a bit surprised, however, when they received a strange beaded bracelet. How strange.

Dierdre walked through the booths, making sure she didn't step on any of the children who were wandering around. They were pretty cute, and she didn't want to cause more harm. She paused, however, when one of the kids had a ring held out for her in their hand.

Quella's first quest was to get some sweets. She had waited all year to taste some of the best chocolates yet again, so she made sure she didn't forget them!
Kyleigh was cuddling with her new revenant, looking for something to do when someone threw a rock at her! "Hey!" she exclaimed, "That's not very nice!" She pouted and rubbed her shoulder where the rock had connected. Something moved in her peripheral vision and she almost screamed at the sight of two moving eyes on the rock that had been thrown at her. "OhmyNine."
Taegan tried his hand at a simple game, one where you had to get a ping pong ball in a bowl of water. It was harder than it looked, but he managed to win a small nezubat plushie. "Awesome," he murmured to himself with a smile.
Bibiana was inordinately pleased to find herself a second bracelet for her collection! And it was so colorful! So pretty. She squealed cutely as she slid it on her wrist. "Thank you!" she beamed.
Lestari sighed gustily at what these Nightmares called jewelry. Most of it was chunky and clashed with everything in her closet. Except for one locket. One pretty golden locket with pinkish purple on the front. She bought it and slid it around her neck, smirking.
Aellys allowed Bryony to talk him into playing a game with the freshling. The goal was to get a ring around a stick a few yards away. They both managed to only get one ring around their sticks, so the vendor allowed them both to take a plush.
Bryony tapped his lip as he surveyed the plushies. Aellys had said he could pick for both of them, so the young freshling decided on the two that were the same colors but in opposite places. He kept the pink one and gave his dad the blue, cuddling his plush happily.
Tamandani stepped back while she watched her kids played a game. She was glad that they seemed to be getting along, glad that their family had grown. She smiled. Her life was pretty much perfect now.
Crux went first in the game, trying to get a bean bag through a hole in a board. It was pretty easy, and she beamed when she made it the first time. The vendor handed her a familiar. "Cute!" she smiled.
Maylis was pleased that Crux seemed to be having a better time at the festival now, and happy that she won a familiar. Maylis herself didn't do so well at the game but the vendor gave her a consolation prize for her efforts.
Cinnabar was pleased with themself when they managed to make the beanbag go through the hole on the first shot. They were sad for Maylis but at least she got a bag of chocolates. "Maybe next time," said Cinnabar as they patted the Imp's shoulder. They turned back to the vendor and squeaked in happiness when they were handed a vespercat.

Eliza had arrived at the festival only because Zahneel had asked. It wasn't that she didn't want to go, it was that usually she'd never think twice. Zahneel made her often consider other options. The blind hybrid stuck to the wall nearest to the entrance, tensing as something brushed against her leg.

Atlas had found the nearest booth of animals and was crouched amongst a crowd of them. She was pretty pleased when a vespercat curled around her leg, loudly announcing, with a firm meow, that Atlas was taking her home. Now, while Atlas couldn't speak vespercat, she got the hint pretty fast.

Jessie hadn't arrived too long ago, but almost instantly a specterfox spotted him and began to drag him by his sleeve around the fair. No amount of tugging or yelling would stop the beast. It was on a war path, and wherever it was heading, Jessie was going to follow.

Gemini was a clumsy girl. It was just who she was. So, it wasn't a surprise that she, while distracted by the sights around her, smacked right into a purple and blue boy. Reeling back, the geist covered her mouth as she approached the other.

Thyme was throughly annoyed with the event. Despite being recently adopted, he still felt bitter during anything that celebrated love. He watched adults and children gather around, yanking heart shaped items and pink goodies. One stand even stated you could 'find someone special' if you shook a stupid glass ball. Rolling his eyes, Thyme leaned against a stand, watching in abstract interest as a purple and dark haired naiad shook a green orb. How were people so easily fooled? The ball wasn't even lighting up or sparkling. It wasn't doing anything! What a waste of time!
He sighed, noticing a small salamander at his feet. Head titling, he extended his hand, letting it crawl up. Huh.

Daichi sighed softly as he noted that Hiro had ran off. Of course. For someone so shy, Hiro was prone to just wandering. The mutated hybrid watched the ongoings of the festival, a tiny pout on his lips. It was fun, but he didn't feel quite.... like he was enjoying it? There was no one to play with, and nothing to really do. Hopefully he'd find Kaleil or Hiro... they'd probably play with him.
Drayden smiled as Gryffyn brought him a plant from a nearby vendor. "Now we both have matching Love Fern," he laughed softly, "Thank you."
Gryffyn beamed up at his dad and showed him the bracelet he'd gotten for himself. "Look, isn't it pretty?" he grinned.
Unsurprisingly, when Zeta was presented with a variety of colorful rings, she chose the black one. It fit her outfit, and her usual attitude. She was happy with it, at least.
Sid just couldn't resist picking up the rainbow jackalope plush when he won a guessing game. "Haha, this is awesome! Can't wait to show my girl~"
Gekke entered the achdemy and went to get something to eat he had just gotten a plate of strawberries and chocolate, he turned and one rolled off his plate and landed in front of a salamander, who quickly ate it and then followed him to beg for some more. Gekke sighed and petted the salamander's smooth head. Then Gekke and his new little friend sat down to enjoy some more strawberries and chocolate. This festival was starting out really nice for Gekke a snack and a new friend right off the bat. He smiled softly enjoying himself greatly. He looked up now and then to see what others were doing.
Taboo waited impatiently for Banshee to catch up. He couldn't wait to get to the festival! He nibbled on his claw, watching as a person passed and handed him a cute little locket!

Xander wasn't sure about heading to the festival at first, however, things were loud outside and it really wasn't worth just staying indoors. The moment he stepped onto the fairgrounds, however, he thought he saw something following him. He blinked when he looked over, seeing a specterfox.

Talora was excited to see the festival! This was her first time at the Academy, and she really wanted to check it out!
Kalani was looking around for something else to do when he spotted one of the highly coveted tables of chocolate. And it wasn't being overrun so badly that he was in danger of being trampled if he ran in and nabbed a bit. Sweet! And so he did just that, reaching up and snagging the nearest box with a quick, "Thank you," tossed out as he moved out of the way.
He opened his prize and gleefully bit into a piece. Aaah, sweet things were awesome! As he selected a second piece he noticed a Kirin standing nearby. Wait, was that a giant piece of chocolate in their hands?! Kalani's feet instantly began to drift in that direction before he'd even consciously made the decision to do so. The closer he got the odder the shape of the chocolate. Did it get squished? But then it moved, and with a sinking heart Kalani realized it wasn't even chocolate at all. Darn!
Ah well. Since he was here maybe he should strike up a conversation! Kalani didn't really have any close friends, and it was sorta boring exploring on your own after a while. Plus they were the closest person to him right now and required the least amount of effort to get to. Just a few more steps and...
"Hello," he said cheerfully, completely oblivious to the Kirin's less-than-thrilled mood. "I thought you were holding a really big piece of chocolate." Even close up it did still kinda look that way. "If you'd like I'll share some of mine. They've got tons of boxes of it everywhere! I wanna try collecting one of each kind that they have. Would you like to help," he asked, suddenly feeling very energetic. Must have been quite a bit of sugar in that piece he ate...
Cuileann once again attended the Jubilee just to wander about the grounds not knowing what may catch her interest. She had studied so much these last few weeks it felt good to be able to get outside and enjoy herself for awhile.
As Lokni began walking towards the grounds where the Jubilee was set up he felt the cold breeze stirring about him and he smiled. How he loved the weather and all things associated with it! Humming to himself he was content to feel the chill of that breeze and breath in the cold air enjoying the cleansing feeling he got when he did so. Not paying attention to where he was walking he suddenly felt a small squish by his leg like something either splattered on him or he walked into something. Stopping and looking down he noticed a familiar there a slime. It was looking at him with a worried look in it's eyes like it did something wrong, Lokni smiled and bent down to pick it up gently. "I should watch where I am walking huh little one? I stepped on you I think how rude of me. How about you stay with me for a while and we explore the Jubilee together and if you like me after that you can stay with me and meet my other familiar friends he said with a chuckle as he walked off.
Listening to the sounds of the Jubilee Kayndie began to feel like she needed to head home she really wasnt feeling up to dealing with all these festival goer's tonight although Dayanara was still here somewhere and she needed to find her. On her way to find her she spotted a table with lovely trinkets on them and was able to obtain one.
Karayas had been running herself ragged, bouncing from booth to booth and table to table looking at all the pretty things to win and be gifted. Suddenly she saw a table that held plushies what she had been looking for, the one she got last year was worn out and she wanted a new one to play with. Looking over them carefully she selected the one she wanted and off she went giggling to herself trying to decide where to go to next.
Now Iason was loving the Jubilee so far, he had been all over the grounds and each sight was more magical then the last. He was having the time of his life when suddenly he felt like something butted him in the back. Turning around quickly ready to say something rude he spied a Vesperfox standing there looking at him, feeling uneasy Iason tried to go around it but it matched his movements. Taking a few steps backwards, the Vesperfox followed by taking a few steps forward. After a few minutes of this behavior, Iason sighed and said "You want to go with me I suppose, if so follow"" with that he walked off and the regal and beautiful Vesperfox followed behind him keeping a watchful eye on him.
Sagi had been following a rather adorable familiar through the festival, curious about its flametail. He had heard of that particular type of familiars before, but Sagi had never actually seen one up close before. It was quite the sight, watching as the four legged salamander wandered through the crowds as easily as the other nightmares and daydreams did. His journey came to an end when the familiar found a particular 'host' it enjoyed, lifting its little legs and touching its front two to the freshling's ankle. The flametail had to be dangerous, and with the freshling having so much fur like Sagi himself, he had to say something, just incase it got singed!
"Ah, s'cuse me! Please be careful ... there's a familiar at your feet and I don't want you or it to get hurt ... "
Kalek, Eberly, Ostander Enver, Dayanara and Coralynne

Kalek was getting restless, he had alot of energy but did not know what to do. Running off towards a large colored booth, eyes on the booth he suddenly tripped and landed on his knees. Twisting around and plopping on his bottom he heard a small noise and that is when he noticed a familiar laying there. "You must be why I fell" he giggled as he said this. "No harm done let's check you to make sure you ok" with that he carefully checked his new friend and got up to walk off. Turning his head he said "Im Kalek I would like to be your friend, want to come with me?" and the familiar tilted it's head and clamored to its feet and gently began to climb it's way up to his shoulder to rest.
Getting cold Eberly decided to call it early and return to his dorm, all the bright and vibrant colors gave him some ideas on what to paint/draw so he hurried back home.
Ostander was roaming around, their wings were fluttering against the cold strong breeze that was blowing across the fairgrounds. They were getting a bit chilled, a mug of hot cocoa was what they wanted and that was in their home so turning to head that way a small plushie lying on the ground on it's side caught their attention. No one seemed to be around and no one was close enough to have lost it so he scooped it up and went home.
Dayanara knew she should return to where she ran off from Kayndie but she wanted to find her new friend Pyre to. Not sure what she should do next or which way to go, she sat down at a brightly colored table and put her head in her hands. She heard a noise and looked down on the bench beside her and there was a Jackalope! Oh it was so pretty and it seemed to have a twinkle in it's eye! It began to move like it was dancing almost and that caused Dayanara to giggle. The Jackalope seemed to enjoy her laugh then it just jumped into her arms and nestled there as if that is where it wanted to be all along.
Coralynne was determined to find all the sweet booths to sample them, see if any were as good or better then hers. Winding her way down each aisle, tasting the many sweets none really caught her attention but as she was about to walk away from the cake table she felt a tug on her leg. Looking down she noticed a Reveanat that was hugging her calf. Giggling to herself she softly petted its lovely soft fur and said "You want to stay with me? Ok with me, I shall call you Cake!" with that she walked off with the familiar still clinging to her calf.
“Well at least it’s a start” Alrai pointed out with a smile. Luckily his size worked for him as he was able to part the crowds a bit easier. “If the boy could recognize romance. I’m starting to think it would hit him on the head and he’d still ignore it” Alrai sighed teasingly as he shook his head. He wondered if it was a trait from Aellys’s side. “on a less teasing note, hopefully by then Florence and Fiore will be old enough to watch over themselves a bit more and help with the watching”
“Well I’m not entirely sure I would take them as successful divination devises but I think that’s supposed to be the gimmic of the crystal. However who knows I’ve seen weirder magical things sold at festivals” Alrai stated. He went to pick one up himself when suddenly a slime jumped out of from behind the crystal balls and started nuzzling Alrai’s hand before jumping into his pocket.

Well it looked like his disguise was working if the looks Rowan was throwing his way were any indication. He probably should have warned his friend but he really hadn’t expected to go this drastically with his disguise. Ah well it was spilt milk and not worth bothering about, the good thing was that hopefully this way they wouldn’t suddenly get mobbed. His parents fans for some odd reason got so much more crazy around this holiday.
He was glad Rowan didn’t mind. They were currently using the house near Asterion at the moment which meant Giotto had to catch a portal, and then the portal had dropped him off further than expected. He did raise an eyebrow when Rowan looked behind him. “Yeah I agree. People get really crazy when it comes to love and not being alone during the holidays. I’m just glad they don’t have those cupid arrows. My brother was telling him about one of his friends and their roommates and they were getting pelted with things out of cannons.” Giotto agreed with a nod.
“I’m not really sure where to start. There is a good chunk of stuff this year. Maybe just wander around for the moment” Giotto started and then blinked when suddenly pink Crocobee flew right in front of his nose and bopped it. Seconds later it was curling on top of his bandana.
“Speaking of which Arinas says hi. He was really amused the other day when you ambushed him, or at least that was his side of the story.” Mielle said with a laugh. It had really cheered her up. She had never had a friend ask about her wellbeing before or notice that she had been missing for a week. ‘I am doing much better” “Oh… thank you. It’s really pretty Vincent” Mielle practically beamed and put it on moments later. It really matched pretty well with her general colors. Her new vesperkitty wound its self around her legs before starting meowing at something. It was about the same time that she saw a salamander rolling by with a strawberry. Seeing as it was about to be stepped on, Mielle took it upon herself to scoop it up and rescue it. It happily stayed in her hand and munched on the strawberry.
